하늘은 번개와 천둥에 의해 놀라지 않는다, 하늘 없이 이런 것들은 있지 않다

i put that to be the most noble, the highest use of the capacity to inquire, to contemplate, to reflect, to pray, to be

apart from this, i don't know what to do

because one lives in the fruit of that and one's energetic and projected identity, 

that still feels my cultural conditioning--

all of those are kind of characteristics can play to a certain place, but they are inside the certain limitation that is seen now,

and they don't constitute what it is here because consciousness is way beyond being jamaican national or a man--,

they're just clouds in me--

but they funtion there, i still have memory of my father, love who he has been for me, and who he is in the love that i have for him, is there although

all these things are there also in my dynamic expressions like that

still without having to curse them,

the sky does not have to have a fight with the clouds that appears inside it

it's not frightened by lightning and thunder because without it, there's no none of these things

 

나는 그것을 가장 고귀한, 

탐구하고, 숙고하고, 비추어 보고, 기도하는 힘의 가장 높은 활용이라 한다

이것 외에 무엇을 하는 것인지 나는 모르겠다

왜냐하면 그것의 결실에서 산다, 그리고 에너지상, 투사된 동일시로 

 

여전히 나의 문화적 조건화를 느낀다

그런 모든 것들은 특정 인물인 것 같다, 어느 곳에선가 놀이를 벌일 수 있다,

하지만 그것들은, 이제 바라보아지는 어떤 한계 안에 있다

그것들은 /여기에 있는 것/을 이루고 있지 않다

의식은 자메이카 국적이나 남자인 것을 벗어나 있다

그런 것들은 그냥 내 안에서의 구름들이다

 

하지만 나의 작용은 있다, 나는 여전히 나의 아버지에 대한 기억을 갖고 있다

나에게 사랑인 그, 내가 그를 향해 갖고 있는 사랑 이 있다

이런 것들은 나의 동적인 표현들 안에 있다

그런 식이다

그것들을 비난하지 않고

 

하늘은 그 안에서 나타나 보이는 구름과 싸울 필요 없다

하늘은 번개와 천둥에 의해 놀라지 않는다, 하늘 없이 이런 것들은 있지 않다

 

so the knowledge that, they say, all is brahman, i am that brahman, should be our meditation

that you do keep looking

because for a long time i was thinking, how can i say that i am all of that, when i say i'm none of it

then i came to see, but both are true

but the true is that fundamentally, essentially, i'm not anything that come and go

yet nothing can come and go within consciousness without my knowing of it

without striving to know, it just 

your field is the consciousness, it's functioning in this body,

but because of functioning in this body, it doesn't mean that it's fundamentally different in that body

is not two different consciousness

 

모든 것은 최고 의식이다, 나는 그 최고 의식이다, 가 우리의 명상이 되어야 한다 라 말한다

그대가 계속해서 바라보는 것이다

 

오랫동안 나는 생각했다, 

내가 어떻게 그 모든 것이라 할 수 있겠어, 나는 그것 중 어떤 것도 아닐 때

 

그런 다음 보게 되었다, 둘 다 사실이다

하지만 사실은, 근본적으로, 본질적으로,

나는 오고 가는 어떤 것도 아니다

하지만 의식 안에서, 내가 그것을 알지 않고, 어떤 것도 오고 갈 수 없다

알려 애쓰는 것이 아니다, 그냥 그렇다

 

그대의 장은 의식이다, 그것이 이 몸에서 작용한다

하지만 이 몸에서 작용한다는 것이, 저 몸에서의 것과 근본적으로 다르다는 뜻이 아니다

두 가지 다른 의식이 아니다

 

without trying to be the same, that understanding is so clear

witth that understanding, confirming the heart, 

 

똑같으려 애쓰지 않고도, 그 이해는 너무 분명하다

그 이해로, 가슴을 확인한다

 

i cannot see you as different in any fundamental way

superficially terms of expressions vary

and that for me is love, that is unity

 

나는 근본적인 방식에서 다르게 그대를 볼 수 없다

표면상, 표현의 용어들이 다양하다

그리고 그것이 나에게 사랑이다, 그것이 하나임 이다

 

in the play, it is like that because the individuality is sent there by God

because for instance, if i feel pain in this body, you don't necessarily feel pain that i feel in that body

and if awakening happens in this body, 

if we are all the same in every way, not just fundamentally as consciousness but also same in the construct the elements that create the body,

because all the same elements in that body is in this body, but the way they come together, and all of this give subtle differences

and also the consciousness is functioning, just like water has no shape, if i put it in a glass, it takes a shape of glass, --- but water is none of those shapes

so the shape that consciousness takes to create this life form and the life process through it, 

that is kind of unique expression

but it is one consciousness that is behaving like that

 

놀이에서 그와 같다, 개인성은 신에 의해 두어졌다

가령, 내가 이 몸에서 고통을 느낀다면, 그대는 그 몸에서 내가 느끼는 고통을 꼭 느끼는 것은 아니다

 

그리고 깨어남이 이 몸에서 일어난다면

 

우리 모두가 모든 면에서 같다면, 단지 의식으로서 근본적으로만이 아니라

몸을 만들어내는 요소들을 구성하는데서 같다면

왜냐하면 그 몸에 있는 같은 요소들이 모두, 이 몸에 있다,

하지만 그것들이 모이는 방식, 그리고 이런 모든 것이 미묘한 차이들을 준다

 

또한 의식은 작용하는데서, 마치 물에 모양이 없는 것과 같다

내가 그것을 컵에 부으면, 그것은 컵의 모양을 취한다

하지만 물은 어떤 모양도 아니다

의식이 이 삶의 형상과 그것을 통해 진행하는 삶을 만들어내기 위해 취하는 모양,

그것이 독특한 표현 같다

 

하지만 그런 식으로 작용하는 하나의 의식이다

 

so if we were all exactly the same, then when consciousness awakens in this body, it would awaken in all the bodies

so that's the proof of the sense of individuality

so what happens is like, in each body the consicousness must learn somehow by its own introspection, contemplation, inquiry, prayer,

refine the consciousness so much,

that is able to somehow, well it stops seeing the body as being the reality of itself

but some attachment is still for the body, it's natural feeling to have some relationship

because this body has been your house more than any house  made of bricks, stones or wood

 

그래서 우리가 모두 정확히 똑같다면, 그러면 의식이 이 몸에서 깨어날 때,

그것이 모든 몸들에서 깨어날 것이다

 

그래서 그것이 개인성의 느낌의 입증이다

일어나는 것은 이렇다,

각 몸에서 의식이, 어떻게 해서인가 그 자신의 통찰로 배워야 한다, 숙고하고, 탐구하고 기도한다

의식을 그런 만큼 정제한다

그것으로 어떻든, 몸을 그 자신의 실체로 보는 것을 중단할 수 있다

하지만 몸을 위한 집착은 좀 있다, 뭔가 관련을 갖는 것은 자연스러운 느낌이다

몸은 벽돌, 돌, 나무로 만들어진 어떤 집보다 더, 그대의 집이어 왔기 때문이다
