자유는 에고를 위한 것이 아니다, 에고로부터의 자유다

in the end, you cannot fool anyone but your own self

the genuine one who sees that, in coming back to a finding place of genuineness, we go through a lot of ingenuineness

and don't give it such hard time with it

if you are sincere, your powers of discernment will be sharp and more and more

but nothing is here in my way just to persecute you

 

결국 그대는 그대 자신 외 누구도 속일 수 없다

 

진실로 바라보는 자는, 

진짜임 을 발견하는 자리로 돌아가는 중에, 우리는 많은 가짜를 거쳐 간다

그리고 그것과 관련해서 너무 힘든 시간을 부여하지 마라

그대가 진지하다면, 그대의 분별력이 점점 더 예리해질 것이다

하지만 나의 방식에서는 아무것도, 단지 그대를 처벌하기 위한 것이 없다

 

human mode of consciousness is full of mistakes, get over it

it's far worse that trying to be perfect

perfection is not achieved by the ego

as i said, freedom is not for the ego, from the ego

and by recognizing that both the personal identity and its world are two sides of one coin,

watched from the sapce that has no form

 

의식의 인간 모습이 실수들로 가득하다, 넘어가라

완벽하려 애쓰는 것이 더 안 좋다

완벽은 에고에 의해 이루어지지 않는다

내가 말한 것처럼,

자유는 에고를 위한 것이 아니다, 에고로부터의 자유다

그리고 제한된 동일시와 그것의 세상이 한 동전의 양면인 것을 알아차리는 것으로

 

형상 없는 공간에서 바라보아진다

 

can you not in the same space, see just shift of attention?

when i speak about perceiving from awareness, are you seeing with fleshly eyes?

from where are you perceiving?

from what organ are you perceiving?

 

그대는 그 같은 공간에서 있을 수 없는가

단지 주의의 변화만 바라보면서

 

내가 각성에서 인식하는 것에 대해 말할 때, 그대는 육체의 눈으로 바라보는가

그대는 어디에서 인식하고 있는가

어느 장기에서 인식하고 있는가

 

is there fear of going beyond form?

form itself bring so much fear

but i curse nothing, say look, see and honor what you see

otherwise we keep going on

 

형상을 벗어나는데 두려움이 있는가

형상 그 자체가 너무나 많은 두려움을 일으킨다

하지만 나는 아무것도 비난하지 않는다, 

봐라, 그리고 그대가 바라보는 것을 가치있게 여겨라

그렇지 않으면 우리는 계속 간다

 

but like everything else, gradually gradually, we find a right balance somehow if you are genuine

whatever you love, you become good at

 

하지만 다른 모든 것처럼, 점차 점차

우리는 어떻게든 적절한 균형을 발견한다, 그대가 진심이라면

그대가 사랑하는 것이 무엇이든, 그대는 잘하게 된다

 

if your urge is for truth and beyond the initial mental struggles,

as you begin to get some juice into field of effect of your seeing,

the peace and the joy which i'll say, actually everyone in the universe is in satsang,

and are searching for the same thing actually ultimately, just not fully aware

everyone is searching for rest, peace, contentment, clarity, love

but we project that on to events in time, projects as situations, all kinds of things

and it's the nature of life, let it flow

i'm not going to tell 'oh you're wasting your time', no, waste your time,

we're expert at wasting time

but waste it well

if your search is for something that will bring you to deeply truer place of joy, more stable place, peace

then

 

그대의 열망이 진리를 향한 것이라면,

그리고 초기의 정신적인 몸부림을 벗어나

 

그대가 그대의 바라봄의 효과의 장에서 뭔가 즙을 얻기 시작한다,

평화와 기쁨, 

사실 온 세상의 모두가 사트상에 있다, 그리고 사실 궁극적으로는 같은 것을 찾고 있다,

단지 완전히 인식하고 있지 못할 뿐이다

모두가 쉼, 평화, 만족, 명확함, 사랑을 찾고 있다

 

하지만 우리는 그것을 시간에서의 사건들로 투사한다, 

상황들로 투사한다,

이런 온갖 것들

그리고 그것이 삶의 본성이다, 그것이 흐르게 두어라

나는 '넌 너의 시간을 낭비하고 있다' 라 말하지 않을 것이다, 아니다, 

시간을 낭비해라, 우리는 시간을 낭비하는데 전문가다

하지만 잘 써라

그대의 탐구가 그대에게 깊이 더 진실한 기쁨의 자리, 더 안정되어 있는 자리, 평화를 가져다줄 것을 찾고 있다면

그러면

 

you have come here

why have you come here?

keep coming here, why? if there's no food for soul

why would you come? if it's not resonating within you and seeing, confirming that it's just higher than anyting than the world can give you in form

it's true or not?

 

그대들은 여기에 와 있다

왜 여기에 와 있는가

계속해서 여기에 온다, 왜 인가, 영혼을 위한 양분이 없다면

그대는 왜 오는가, 그대 안에서 공명하고, 바라보고, 세상이 그대에게 형상으로 줄 수 있는 어떤 것보다 더 높은 것이라는 것을 확인하는 것이 아니라면

 

사실인가 아닌가

 

still even here, resistance will come

sometimes even more strong too, why? because the prize is so great

 

여기에서도, 저항은 나타날 것이다

때로는 더 강하기도 하다, 왜 인가, 보상이 너무 크기 때문이다

growth or expanding or evolving or whatever, becomeing better something,

is not quality of awareness

so it's frustrating for one who aspires to accumulate, to get more,

which uses this medium for growing or getting better as an excuse for justifying a journey, wasted in dreaming

 

성장, 혹은 확장, 진화, 무엇이든, 

점점 나아지는 것은 각성의 특질이 아니다

그래서 그것은 더 얻기 위해 쌓으려는 자에게는 좌절스럽다

이 매개로 성장하거나 더 나아지거나 하는 것으로,

여정, 꿈에의 낭비를 정당화하는 핑계로 삼는 이에게는

 

whatever arises arises, it's the attention that gives it a power

and as the attention subsides into limitless, this itches and urges will by themselves taken care of

 

일어나는 것이 무엇이든 일어난다, 그것에 힘을 주는 것은 주의다

그리고 주의가 제한 없음에서 가라앉을 때, 

가려움과 열망은 저절로 보살펴질 것이다
