어느 방향에 그대가 있는가
don't seek help or assistance from your mind for this
for once, don't seek help
leave everything, every notion, every idea, every self image, every thought
perceive all, but don't not combine yourself with anything
hold no idea of who you are
and it will take no time to know what is
이것을 위해, 그대의 마음으로부터의 도움을 구하지 마라
한 번이라도, 도움을 구하지 마라
모든 것을 내버려둬라, 모든 관념, 모든 개념, 모든 자기 이미지, 모든 생각,
모든 것을 인식해라, 하지만 어떤 것과도 그대 자신을 연결시키지 마라
그대가 누구인지에 대한 어떤 생각도 붙들지 마라
그리고 있는 것을 아는데 시간이 걸리지 않을 것이다
this feeling in you right now, where does it come from?
who are you who perceive it?
simply be still
are you full or empty?
지금 그대 안의 이 느낌, 그것은 어디에서 오는가
그것을 인식하는 그대는 누구인가
단순히 고요히 있어라
그대는 꽉 차 있는가, 비어 있는가
do not imagine that you are a person hearing this, seeing this, being this
experience yourself like unbound space, it's clear enough
there's nothing to be afraid of
there are no treasures in the ego, only imaginings
그대가 이것을 듣는, 보는, 이것인 한 사람이라 상상하지 마라
그대 자신을 경계 없는 공간처럼 경험해라, 그것으로 충분히 명확하다
두려워 할 것 없다
에고에는 어떤 보물도 없다, 상상들 뿐이다
you are just this alive awareness
is this not clear?
feel that expanse of joy, of peace, uncreated
which portion of the space is you?
in what direction are you?
where is the location of that which perceives inside and out?
you're nether above nor below, neither within nor without
what a mystery
you're simply here
그대는 그냥 이 살아있는 각성일 뿐이다
이것이 분명하지 않은가
기쁨, 평화의 공간을 느껴라
만들어내지 않은
공간의 어느 비율이 그대인가
어느 방향에 그대가 있는가
안과 밖을 인식하는 그것의 위치는 어디인가
그대는 위쪽에도 아래쪽에도 있지 않다, 안에도 밖에도 있지 않다
신비다
그대는 단순히 여기에 있다
it has no meaning
yet it gives meaning to meanings, and perceives them unaffected
you're the love that does not need an object
inexhaustible joy
where else can it come from
where we can go
if the infinite is infinite
how can it be lost?
if the self is omnipresent, ever present, who's it that cannot find it?
그것은 의미를 갖지 않는다
하지만 그것이 의미들에 의미를 준다, 그리고 그것들을 인식한다, 영향받지 않은 채
그대는 대상을 필요로 하지 않는 사랑이다
지칠 수 없는 기쁨
그것이 그 밖에 어디에서 올 수 있겠는가
우리가 어디로 갈 수 있는가
무한이 무한하다면
그것이 잃어버려질 수 있는가
자신 이 어디에나 존재한다면, 항상 있다면, 그것을 찾을 수 없다는 그것은 누구인가
if you are the one that come and go, then what is it that knows this?
you're the one who knows knowledge and knows ignorance
should not be this clear for you?
simply don't touch the ego, don't touch i
and instantly you will notice
don't go to past nor future nor even present
you're here before all movement, of time, chance and space or object
this is your perfect understanding
pay attention to yourself
그대가 오고 가는 그 자라면, 이것을 아는 그것은 무엇인가
그대는 앎을 알고, 무지를 아는 자이다
이것이 그대에게 명확하지 않아야 하는가
단순히 에고에 닿지 마라, 나 를 건드리지 마라
그러면 즉시 그대가 알아볼 것이다
과거로도 미래로도, 현재에조차 가지 마라
그대는 시간, 변화, 공간이나 대상의 모든 움직임 이전에 여기에 있다
이것이 그대의 완벽한 이해다
그대 자신에게 주의를 주어라
do not be in a state of waiting
this is just the mind
be in that which does not concern itself about the next,
in whom the concept of next is rerelevant
just be
don't bother to think here
기다리는 상태에 있지 마라
이것은 마음일 뿐이다
다음 에 신경쓰지 않는 그것에 있어라
그 안에서 다음 의 개념은 무관하다
그냥 있어라
여기에서 성가시게 생각하지 마라
you're not going to be more you in the future or less you
drop all notions of the self
and be the self
self will not be learnt, cannot be gained, cannot be harmed, cannot die, cannnot be reborn, cannot age
it is ever perfect
how can you know such a thing
simply do not doubt
when there's another doubt, don't believe, everything becomes clear and it will take no time
그대는 미래에, 더한 그대 혹은 덜한 그대가 되지 않을 것이다
자신에 대한 모든 개념들을 떨궈라
그리고 자신 으로 있어라
자신 은 배워지지 않을 것이다, 얻어질 수 없다, 해를 입을 수 없다, 죽을 수 없다, 다시 태어날 수 없다, 나이들 수 없다
항상 완벽하다
그대는 그런 것을 어떻게 알 수 있는가
단순히 의심하지 마라
또 다른 의심이 있을 때, 믿지 마라, 모든 것이 분명해진다, 그러는데 시간이 걸리지 않을 것이다
you have no age
age is for only this body which is time
you're the timeless self
deep within your being, you know all this
but something plays of forgetting
actually you can neither remember nor forget yourself
그대에게는 나이가 없다
나이 는 시간인 이 몸을 위한 것일 뿐이다
그대는 시간이 존재하지 않는 자신이다
그대 존재 안 깊이에서, 그대는 이 모든 것을 안다
하지만 뭔가가 잊는 놀이를 한다
사실 그대는 그대 자신을 떠올릴 수도 잊을 수도 없다
if you recognize consciousness, it means that you are already the self
because self is consciousness
all that appears in consciousness are really shadows, only movements, they're impermanent in nature
who are you
what is yesterday for you, what is tomorrow for you
don't be perplexed about this
there's nothing you need to work out
그대가 의식을 알아차린다면, 그대는 이미 자신 이라는 뜻이다
자신 은 의식이기 때문이다
의식에서 나타나 보이는 모든 것이 정말로 그림자, 움직임일 뿐이다,
그것들은 본성상 영원하지 않다
그대는 누구인가
그대에게 어제는 무엇인가, 그대에게 내일은 무엇인가
이것에 관해 당황해하지 마라
그대가 작업해야 할 것 없다
you cannot fight with yourself
그대는 그대 자신과 싸울 수 없다
you who are in the pure state search in any region of time or space to find a problem for yourself now?
see if anything like this exist
or has ever existed?
순수한 상태에 있는 그대가, 지금 그대에게, 문제를 찾기 위해 시간이나 공간의 영역을 탐색하는가
이런 어떤 것이 존재하는지 봐라
혹은 존재한 적이나 있는가
something stops me, something blocks me, these are all imaginings there, have no existence, no reality at all
what can block you? you're like space, you're everywhere
even space, you're subtler than that
you're that which observes sleep and wakefulness
what can you be?
뭔가가 나를 막는다, 뭔가가 나를 차단한다,
이런 것들은 모두 상상들이다,
그것들에는 존재가 없다, 전혀 실체가 아니다
무엇이 그대를 막을 수 있는가, 그대는 공간과 같다, 그대는 모든 곳에 있다
공간조차,
그대는 그보다 더 미묘하다
그대는 잠과 깨어있음을 바라보는 그것이다
그대는 무엇일 수 있을까
i will not teach you this, i'll only remind you of what you imagine you could forget
yet you're even beyond reminding and forgetting
나는 그대에게 이것을 가르치지 않을 것이다,
단지 그대가 잊을 수 있겠다고 상상한 것을 그대에게 떠올리게 할 뿐이다
하지만 그대는 떠올림과 잊음조차 벗어나 있다
the one who hears me in the heart, you're already free
but the one who merely believes may doubt again
but there's one for whom doubt is meaningless, belief is also meaningless
because you have transcended that
in the clear light of awareness
you're the untouched one
가슴에서 내 말을 듣는 자, 그대는 이미 자유다
하지만 단지 믿을 뿐인 자는 다시 의심할 것이다
하지만 의심이 의미 없는 자에게는, 믿음 또한 의미 없다
그대는 그것을 변형시켰으므로
각성의 명확한 빛에서
그대는 닿아지지 않는 자다
