그대가 감각 혹은 마음을 통해 인식하는 것이 무엇이든, 인식하는 그것일 수 없다는 사실을 봐라

your mind keep saying this, 'there's no peace'

because it takes its force from an assumption that it should be like this and it should not be like that

so now there's empty, but there's no love, ---

so this is mind play actually

what you are looking at cannot be what you are that is looking

this is why say, if you witness something, whatever you observe, cannot be the essence of you

 

그대의 마음이 계속 이렇게 말한다, '평화는 없다'

왜냐하면 그것은, 이래야 한다, 그러면 안 된다 와 같은 가정에서 그 힘을 얻기 때문이다

 

그래서 이제,

비어있다, 하지만 사랑은 없다, ---

 

사실 이것은 마음의 놀이다

그대가 바라보는 것은, 바라보는 그대인 것일 수 없다

이래서 말하는 것이다, 그대가 무언가를 바라본다, 무엇을 바라보든, 그대의 본질이 될 수 없다

 

so in your case, you're saying that i see dark,

but darkness is a quality, and the mind says, 'there should be light',

or 'ok there's no light, there's darkness', because darkness is a very emotive term,

usually when we think of light, we think of God, purity, beauty,

think of darkness, think of devil, death and so on.....

they are very emotinal terms in the mind

 

그대의 경우, 그대는 '나는 어둠을 본다' 라 말하고 있다,

하지만 어둠은 특질이다, 그리고 마음은 말한다, '빛이 있어야 한다',

혹은 '그래 빛이 없다, 어둠이 있다',

왜냐하면 어둠 은 아주 감정을 일으키는 표현이다

대개 우리가 빛에 대해 생각할 때, 우리는 신, 순수, 아름다움 에 대해 생각한다,

어둠에 대새 생각하면, 악마, 죽음, 등등.....

마음에서 아주 감정적인 표현이다

 

that which is looking that can see darkness or light, must be beyond darkness and light

'there's total emptiness, but there's no joy', this is mind, i want to tell you that

and something listens, 'ah yeah it is, totally empty but there's no joy'

because the joy that is expected in the mind,

yourself is beyond even this joy

mind will say something---, and we know these interrelated opposites

and it's almost using those to say, the thing you're talking about is like one of them, the one that you're most afraid of

if you understand it this way, it will not trouble you

 

어둠 혹은 빛을 볼 수 있는, 바라보는 그것은

어둠과 빛을 벗어나 있어야 한다

 

'완전한 비어있음이 있다, 하지만 기쁨이 없다',

이것이 마음이다,

나는 그것을 그대에게 말해주고 싶다

그리고 뭔가가 귀 기울인다, '아 그렇다, 완전히 비어있다, 하지만 기쁨이 없다'

왜냐하면 그 기쁨은 마음에서 기대되는 것이기 때문이다

 

그대 자신은 이 기쁨조차 벗어나 있다

마음은 무언가를 말할 것이다---, 그리고 우리는 이런 상호연관된 반대의 것들을 안다

그것들을 사용해서 말하는 것 같다, 그대가 말하는 것이 그것들 중 하나인 것 같다, 그대가 가장 두려워 하는 것

 

그대가 이런 식으로 이해한다면, 그것은 그대에게 문제를 일으키지 않을 것이다

 

you say, 'there is emptiness, darkness, but there is also love, love is more true and there is silence'

but they are also perceivable like darkness and the light

so if even love which is more attractive virtue or quality,

'there are a lot of movements, but here there is silence',

so you use the silence and the love that's what is really real

그대는 말한다, '비어있음이 있다, 어둠이 있다, 하지만 사랑 또한 있다, 사랑은 너무나 진실하다, 그리고 침묵이 있다'

 

하지만 그것들 또한 인식가능하다, 어둠과 빛처럼

그래서 보다 매력적인 미덕 혹은 특질인 사랑이라 하더라도

 

'무수한 움직임들이 있다, 하지만 여기에 침묵이 있다',

그대는 침묵과 사랑이 정말 진짜인 것으로 쓴다

그래서 그것을 아는 것으로, 그대는 어디에서 말하고 있는가

 

if i go to the point to that which is perceiving them, can that be perceived?

 

내가 그것들을 인식하고 있는 그것을 가리킨다면, 그것은 인식될 수 있는가

 

'it becomes so subtle'

'아주 미묘해진다'

 

listen to her,

'that which is beyond light and shade, ---, that is so subtle'

what is perceiving subtlety even?

don't go to your head, because you're already giving something away,

something always must be here that even subtlety must be perceived

 

그녀의 말을 들어봐라,

'빛과 어둠을 벗어나 있는 그것,---, 그것은 아주 미묘하다'

 

무엇이 미묘함조차 인식하는가

그대의 머리로 가지 마라, 그대는 이미 무언가 내보이고 있다

무언가가 여기에 있어서, 미묘함조차 인식되어야 한다

 

this is question and looking time, question and revelation time

you know the word, subtle? to what does it imply?

that there is something that come in the mind that is so subtle that there's no words for them

if something is so subtle, but does it not imply that that subtlety is also perceived?

and something here (mouth)  is admitting, 'yes that subtlety is perceived, is it that mouth knows it?

what knows subtlety is perceived?

 

이것은 질문과 바라보는 시간이다, 질문과 드러남의 시간이다

 

그대는 미묘하다, 라는 말을 아는가, 무엇에 쓸 수 있는가

마음에 나타나는 무언가가 있다, 아주 미묘한 것, 그것에 해당하는 말이 없다

무언가가 아주 미묘하다면, 하지만 그것은 미묘함 또한 인식된다는 뜻 아닌가

그리고 입에서 무언가가 인정하고 있다, '그렇다, 미묘함은 인식된다'

입이 그것을 아는가

무엇이 미묘함이 인식된다는 것을 아는가

because you may say, 'beyond subtlety, super subtlety'

what is aware of super subtlety?

 

이제 그대 마음의 산소가 다 떨어져 가고 있다

그대는, '미묘함을 넘어서, 초미묘함' 이라 말할런지 모른다

무엇이 초미묘함을 인식하는가

 

you cannot answer, beacuse any answer you give, become something

and it means that this answer is given, but what gives this answer also?

so therefore you cannot repute,

'even the most subtle thing is perceivable, implies that there must be some intelligence that is saying that is perceived

don't cling to the word, intelligence,

more look at the fact that whatever you perceive though the senses or the mind, cannot be that which is perceiving

 

그대는 답할 수 없다, 그대가 내는 어떤 답이든 무언가가 되기 때문이다

답이 내놓아진다면, 무엇이 이 답 또한 내는가

 

그래서 그대는 부인할 수 없다

'가장 미묘한 것조차 인식가능하다,

 

그것이 인식된다고 말하는 뭔가 지성이 있어야 한다는 뜻이다

지성 이라는 말에 매달리지 마라

보다는 그대가 감각 혹은 마음을 통해 인식하는 것이 무엇이든, 인식하는 그것일 수 없다는 사실을 봐라
