선택은 그대의 것이라 말하는 것은 미묘하다

i'm going to proceed as though i am in conversation or communion, you can say, with those souls who have been called by grace to come to satsang,
and to complete the opportunity presented by grace to awaken, not merely intellectually,
but to awaken to permanent self
all human beings are aware of themselves as a self,
but rare and few are those who are aware of themselves as pure impersonal consciousness,
which may seem to be, from a standpoint of personhood,
to sound even to say impersonal consciousness, can seem remote, unfeeling, unattractive, to the soul that is immersed in personhood

난,
영혼이 사트상에 오도록 은혜로움에 의해 불린 이들이라 할 수 있을
그리고 은혜로움에 의해 깨어나도록 주어진 기회를 완결할, 단지 지적으로가 아니라,
영원한 자신 에 깨어날
이들과 교류하듯, 혹은 함께인 것처럼
나아가겠다

모든 인간 존재들이 그들 자신을 하나의 자신으로 인식한다
그들 자신을 순수한, 제한 없는 의식으로 인식하는 이들은 거의 없다
그것은 제한된 성격의 입장에서는, 제한 없는 의식이라 말하는 것으로도,
머나먼, 느낌 없는, 매력 없는 것으로 들릴 것이다,
제한된 성격에 잠겨있는 영혼에게는

so i trust that those who have come for satsang, even if we're familiar with the ways of personhood and traffic of personal identity,
have sufficient confidence, grace also
so i'm not going to doubt that grace is with you
to come here is already the evidence that grace is functioning within your being
but also maya is functioning
both the grace of supreme and the presence of functioning of maya which is delusion,
forms the complex activity called existence

나는 신뢰한다,
사트상에 온 이들이, 비록 제한된 성격과 제한된 동일시의 방식에 익숙할 지라도,
충분한 자신감, 은혜 또한 갖고 있다
그래서 나는 은혜로움이 그대와 함께인 것을 의심하지 않을 것이다
여기에 오는 것이 이미, 은혜로움이 그대의 존재 안에서 작용하고 있다는 증거다

하지만 환영 또한 작용한다
최상의 은혜로움, 그리고 현혹된 것인 환영의 작용의 존재 둘이
존재라 불리는 복잡한 활동을 만들어낸다

and what the term soul imply is the earliest manifestation from the divine or the absolute
the first taste of, the sense of individuality
but not personhood
personhood comes when from the place of being or i am-ness,
which sometimes i refer to as child of absolute
when from the place of being is projected also the identity, the belief i am the body, i am the person,
and then so much conditioning is adding to that, and the soul becomes confused,
thinking itself merely as body, bound in time and subject to play, the inhibition, the desires, the attachment to personhood,
loses its conscious connection with the Lord of universe

그리고 영혼이라는 표현은, 신성 혹은 절대로부터 가장 먼저 드러나 보이는 것을 말한다
개별성의 첫번째 맛, 첫번째 느낌
하지만 제한된 성격이 아니다

제한된 성격은, 존재 혹은 나-임 의 자리에서 나온다
내가 때때로 절대의 아이라 하는 것이다
존재의 자리에서 동일시로, '나는 몸이다, 나는 이런 사람이다' 라는 믿음으로 투사될 때,
그러면 너무나 많은 조건화가 그것에 더해진다, 그리고 영혼은 혼란스러워진다,
그 자신을 단지 몸으로,
시간에 구속되어 있고,
놀이, 억압, 욕망, 제한된 성격에 대한 집착에 종속되어 있는 것으로 생각한다,
온 세상의 신과의 의식적인 연결을 잃는다

satsang is provided by life, by God, to again remind us of our original nature
not as concepts or philosophy but as direct reflection of that which is eternal in us

사트상은 삶에 의해, 신에 의해 주어진다, 다시 우리에게 우리 고유의 본성을 떠올리도록
개념이나 철학으로서가 아니라, 우리 안에서 영원한 그것을 직접 비추어 보이는 것으로

at the same time, the mind and the habit of personhood can also seem to intensify
the more the face is towards its own source, the activity of personhood seem to rise fiercely, to challenge the possibility to wake up
and all experience this

동시에, 마음과 제한된 성격의 습관 또한 강화되는 것처럼 보일 수 있다
얼굴이 그 자신의 근원으로 향할수록, 제한된 성격의 활동이 흉포하게 일어나는 것 같다, 깨어날 수 있는 가능성을 어렵게 하는 것 같다
그리고 모두가 이것을 경험한다

so whether it is now or later or much later,
whether it is in this form or in another form or in another life, we must wake up
the destiniy of all human beings is to wake up to our original nature
either now or later
to say the choice is yours is a subtle thing,
it depends on who you take yourself to be
if you take yourself to be merely a person, it will depend upon how purified the state of personhood is
the state of person is also a mode of consciousness
the person also has the possibility to evolve
but if it retains personal identity, it will continue evolving within the domain of phenomenality

지금이든 나중이든, 혹은 훨씬 나중에든
이 형상에서든, 또 다른 형상에서든, 또 다른 삶에서든, 우리는 깨어나야 한다
모든 인간 존재들의 운명은 우리 고유의 본성에 깨어나는 것이다
지금이거나 나중이거나

선택은 그대의 것이라 말하는 것은 미묘하다
그대가 그대 자신을 누구로 받아들이는지에 달렸다
그대 자신을 단지 제한된 인식으로 받아들인다면,
제한된 성격의 상태를 얼마나 정화하는지에 달려있을 것이다

제한된 인식의 상태 또한 의식의 모양이다
제한된 인식 또한 진화할 수 있는 가능성을 갖고 있다
하지만 그것이 제한된 동일시를 갖고 있는 한, 그것은 계속해서 현상계의 영역 안에서 진화할 것이다

everything evolve in stages
the more we cling to person, the more slow, gradual those layers of transcending are
you have come to this satsang which is pointing unerringly, to that which is beyond stages
whether each one is presently competent to grasp that in the depth of your being,
and to as it work to cross over from time to timelessness
we're here to find out

모든 것이 단계별로 진화한다
우리가 제한된 인식에 매달릴수록, 변형의 층은 더 느리다, 점차적이다

그대는 이 사트상에 왔다, 확실히, 단계들을 벗어난 그것을 가리키는 것에
각자 지금, 그대 존재의 깊이에서 그것을 이해할 수 있다
그리고 그런 만큼 시간에서 시간이 존재하지 않는 것으로 건너간다

우리는 여기에 발견하기 위해 있다

so before we go any further, bless that all who have come to that alter of transcendence are here by grace and blessed, by the power of grace of God to come to such conclusion experientially
so that we are no longer suffocated by the claustrophobic grip of personhood,
and the maya which keeps all the beings at sleep to the truth
wherever you are in the hearing of this,
whether you hear on the ground of sahaja or wherever you may be
may be so fully absorbed beyond the surface of the mind, in the heart of being
and for you to know that it is totally possible, not as a future occurence
because when we look in the mirror of consciousness, it does not reflect time, future or past,
but now beyond time
in the ordinary mirror, we see a reflection of form,
but in the mirror of God, you see imageless relfection of pure consciousness

우리가 더 나아가기 전에 축복한다,
변형에 이른 모두, 은혜로움에 의해 여기에 있고, 축복 받은, 신의 은혜로움에 의해 경험상 그 정도의 결론에 이르러 있는
그래서 우리는 더 이상 제한된 성격의, 폐쇄공포적 장악력에 의해 숨 막히지 않는다
그리고 환영은, 모든 존재들이 진리에 대해 잠에 들도록 한다

이것들 듣는 그대가 어디에 있든
사하자의 땅 위에서 듣든, 어디에 있든,
마음의 표면을 벗어나, 존재의 가슴에 아주 완전히 흡수되기를
그리고 그대가 그것이 완전히 가능한 것을 알기를,
미래에 일어날 것이 아니라
왜냐하면 우리가 의식의 거울을 들여다볼 때, 그것은 시간, 미래나 과거를 비추지 않는다,
시간을 벗어난 지금

보통의 거울에서는 우리가 형상이 비추어지는 것을 본다
하지만 신의 거울에서는, 그대가 순수한 의식의 이미지 없는 비추어보임을 바라본다
