종교적인 진리를 넘는 것이어야 한다

 

here, the truest defintion of here is here (the heart),

in the place that each time we speak our conversations end, everything finishes right there,

just like throw stone in the air, it's gonna land there, land place in the landing place, of hereness

 

여기, 여기의 가장 진실한 정의는 여기 (가슴)이다

매번 우리 대화가 끝나는 곳, 모든 것이 바로 여기에서 끝난다

돌을 공중으로 던지는 것과 같다, 그건 내려앉을 것이다, 내려앉는 곳에, 여기임 에

 

and this is what i don't want to speak about it only,

we walk together to that place, if so to speak, walking together,

mean that we listen and find, we discover that which is true,

and how do you know that something is true?

 

그리고 이것은, 내가 말로만 하고 싶지 않은 것이다

우리는 함께 그 곳으로 걸어간다, 함께 걷는다고 표현하자면.

 

우리는 듣고, 발견한다, 진짜인 것을 발견해간다

 

그대는 어떤 것이 진짜인지 어떻게 아는가

 

it must resonate inside your being, 

it is there higher way of telling something to be true? -

so many people, they say it's true, if it's in print, -

somebody says if people tell you like this, if somebody in a suit tell you it's true, it's true, -

if politician it's true, it's true,

if the preacher tell you it's true, it's true,

if your mother tell you it's true, it is true,

you see like this?

how do we know that something is true, what is true?

 

그건 그대의 존재 안에서 울려야 한다

 

무언가가 진짜인 것이라 말할 보다 높은 방법이 있는가

많은 사람들이, 그들은, 인쇄되어 있으면, 진짜이다, 라고 말한다

누군가는, 사람들이 이런 식으로 네게 말하면, 잘 갖춰 입은 사람이 그것이 진짜라고 말하면, 그것은 진짜이다,

정치가가 그것이 진짜라고 하면, 그것이 진짜이다,

성직자가 그대에게 그것이 진짜라고 말하면, 그것이 진짜이다,

그대의 어머니가 그대에게, 그것이 진짜라고 말하면, 그것이 진짜이다,

 

이런 식인 것을 그대가 보겠는가

우리는 어떻게 무언가가 진짜인지를 아는가, 무엇이 진짜인가

 

and not just what we think, not just what we like, 

if something we care, because sometimes, it's not even the thing it's true that makes us respect it,

it's about how attached we are to the things that makes us accept it,

not as because it's true,

so if we have love for truth, what is our, how do we know it is credible for you?

how do you know it is true, the things is true?

what measure do we have?

some people say if it's in the Bible, it's true,

it it's in the Koran, it's true,

it it's in the Bhagavad gita, it's true,

but then people oppose and say, no, no, 

i thnk even in one country, they've taken in Bhagavad gita to court, -

i hear that taken beacuse it's going to be a violence in it, and we don't stand for violence, -

so what is truth?

how you can stand up for truth?

what it mean?

 

그리고 그냥 우리가 생각하는 것이라서가 아니다, 우리가 좋아하는 것이라서가 아니다

무언가를 우리가 좋아하면, 때로는, 그것이 진짜가 아닌데도, 우리가 그것을 존중한다

우리가 그것에 집착하는 것이라, 그것을 받아들인다

그것이 진짜라서가 아니다

 

그러면 우리가 진리에 대한 사랑을 갖고 있다면, 무엇이 우리의, 우리는 어떻게 그것이 그대가 신뢰할 수 있는 것이라는 것을 아는가

그대는 어떻게 그것이 진짜인지 아는가, 

무슨 도구를 우리가 갖고 있는가

 

어떤 사람들은, 성경에 있으면, 진짜라고 말한다

코란에 있으면, 진짜다,

바가바드 기타에 있으면 진짜다,

하지만 사람들은 반대한다, 아니, 아니야, 라고 한다,

심지어 어느 나라에서는, 바가바드 기타를 법정에 가져갔다,

그것 안에 폭력이 있고, 폭력을 지지하지 않기 때문이라고

 

그래서 무엇이 진리인가

그대는 어떻게 진리라고 지지할 수 있는가

그건 무슨 뜻인가

 

it's truth some sacred cluster of concepts, -precious concepts, don't touch it, just smell,?

what is truth? how you can know something is true?

- i don't want to say,

if you yourself is true, how you know you yourself true?

 

진리는 어떤 성스러운 개념 덩어리인가 - 소중한 개념들, 건드리지 마, 그냥 냄새만 맡지-

 

무엇이 진리인가, 그대는 어떻게 무언가가 진짜인 것을 알 수 있는가

내가 말하진 않겠다

그대가 진짜라면, 그대가 진짜인 것을 그대가 어떻게 아는가

 

we say a heart know,

but sometimes what we call a heart, we're referring to as just the seat of our feelings, isn't it?

sometimes we say, gut feelings,

so what is true?

 

가슴이 안다 고 말한다,

하지만 때로, 우리가 가슴이라고 하는 것은, 그냥 우리 느낌이 들어앉아있는 곳일 뿐이다, 그렇지 않은가

때로 우리는, 직감, 이라 말한다

 

그래서 무엇이 진짜인가

 

she say that if it comes and hits you with a silence and a joy, that is sufficient for, that is true,

someone else may put differently,

someone may say, it's like really, resonates inside even though your mind may not like it,

but something deeper knows, it feels, the power of it, it sets you free,

 

그대에게 침묵과 기쁨으로 다가와 치면, 그것으로 충분하다, 그것이 진짜이다, 라고 말한다

다른 누군가는 다르게 말할 것이다

 

누군가는, 그건 마음이 좋아하지 않더라도, 안에서 정말 울리는 것과 같다, 고 말할 수도 있다

 

하지만 보다 깊은 무언가가 안다, 그 힘을 느낀다,

그것은 그대를 자유롭게 한다

 

what it mean free, - releases you from the lie,

and you know what release feels like, just like it's space again,

it makes you empty again, and in that emptiness shines joy and peace and aliveness

 

자유롭다는 것은, 그대를 거짓에서 놓여나게 하는 것이다

그리고 그대는 놓여나는 것이 무슨 느낌인지 안다, 다시 공간인 것 같다

그대를 다시 비게 만든다, 그리고 그 비어있음 안에서 기쁨과 평화와 생동감이 빛을 낸다

 

truth cannot be miserable,

it has to make you, whoever you are, it has to be more than a religious truth, 

it has to not label on it, 

it has to speak into the human heart

in a way that you, thank you, thank you, thank you -, i need to go sit with that, 우-, 

that is the truth,

we don't have to speak the ultimate truth,

is true and if you accept it even though sometimes it creates a fire in you also,

the truth can create a fire inside you, but it's a fire that you accept because truth make you accept this fire also,

you go away, you have to sit and have to cook for few hours, few days,

and there's no where to go,

and also the same time, we can be beautifully cool, spacious, 

those are signs, 

but the signs are not truth,

 

진리는 비참할 수 없다

그대가 누구이든 그대를,

 

종교적인 진리 이상이어야 한다

딱지가 붙어서는 안 된다

인간의 가슴 속으로 말하는 것이어야 한다

그대가, 감사합니다, 감사합니다, -, 우-좀 앉아야겠다,

 

이것이 진리이다,

우리는 궁극의 진리를 말할 필요 없다

 

때로 그것이 그대 안에서 불을 일으켜도, 그대가 받아들인다면,

진리는 그대 안에서 불을 일으킬 수 있다, 

하지만 그대가 받아들인다, 진리는 그대가 이 불 또한 받아들이도록 하므로,

그대는 좀 저쪽으로 가서 앉아야 한다, 몇 시간, 며칠, 훅훅 조리되어야 한다

그리고 그 외 갈 데가 없다

또한 동시에 우리는, 아름답게 시원하고, 열린 공간이다

 

이런 것들이 표지들이다,

하지만 표시들이 진리인 것은 아니다

 

something knows, we can have a sense that as we're discovering more of our truth of our self, 

we're becoming more happy genuinely

and the happiness, not happiness about, something just happiness,

'why you're happy about? - i don't know about, just i don't know what to say, just happy',

without reason, you're happy, without reason, you're at peace,

that is the signs, you may say, that what is truth,

that which brings you joy and peace and make you your beings feel universal, open and fearless,

that which removes the fear of death and the fear of life also,

that is true,

that which makes you want to say, thank you, God, thank you for existence, 

can make you even say, thank you for all my troubles also beacuse without them, i'll even in more trouble,

 

무언가는 안다, 우리는 우리 자신의 진리를 더욱 발견해갈수록, 느낄 수 있다,

점점 더 행복해져 간다, 진짜로,

그리고 행복은, 무엇에 대한 것이 아니다, 무언가 그냥 행복이다,

'너 왜 무엇 때문에 행복하니? - 무엇 때문이 아니야, 그냥 말로 할 것은 모르고, 그냥 행복하다',

 

이유 없이, 그대는 행복하다, 이유 없이, 그대는 평화롭다

이것이 표시다, 진짜인 것이라고 말할 수 있는 것이다

그대에게 기쁨과 평화를 가져다주는 것, 그대의 존재가 전체적이고 열리며, 두려움 없음을 느끼게 하는 것,

죽음에 대한 두려움, 삶에 대한 두려움 또한 제거하는 것,

그것이 진짜다,

그대가, 감사합니다, 신, 감사합니다, 존재, 라 말하고 싶게 만드는 것,

심지어 그대는, 나의 모든 문제들에 대해서 또한 감사합니다 라 말할 수도 있다, 

왜냐하면 그것들 없이는, 나는 더 많은 문제에 처할 것이므로

 

you understand?

something is there, that gratitude arises in that, thank you for those who love me,

and even those who don't love me, because it helps me to grow

 

이해하는가

무언가가 있다, 감사가 그 안에서 일어난다,

나를 사랑한 이들에게 감사한다,

나를 사랑하지 않은 이들에게도, 그것이 내가 자라도록 했다

 

these are the signs about the truth,

but sometimes, human culture, we want to say, 'ok, this is the truth, no not that, this is the truth',

but it's like something can be outside you,

but it has to be responded from inside you,

and something feels, thank you, i'm so much happier and much more open and i'm not afraid,

i don't feel like i'm in a battle with anyone,

even if they feel they're in a battle with me, i don't feel that i'm in a battle with anybody,

bless them, also,

this is true

 

이런 것들이 진리에 관한 표지들이다,

 

하지만 때로는 인간의 문화는, 

'그래, 이것이 진리다, 저것은 아니다, 이것이 진리다' 라고 말하고 싶어한다

하지만 이러면, 진리는 그대 밖의 것인 것 같다

진리는 그대 안에서 응해져야 한다

 

그리고 무언가가 느낀다,

감사합니다, 나는 훨씬 더 행복해지고, 훨씬 더 열리며, 두렵지 않다,

어느 누구와 싸우고 있는 느낌이 없다,

그들이 나와 싸우고 있는 중일지라도, 나는 어느 누구와도 싸우고 있다 느끼지 않는다,

또한 그들을 축복합니다,

 

이것이 진짜이다

 

so this is the truth that i bless for that truth,

this is the truth that i pray, 

this is the truth that we all discover like that,

it is the truth without dogma, it's the truth without prejudice, it's not fascist in its way, 

it is just pure, it is the truth that has represented of everybody,

it respect of who you are,

it is the truth for the rich man, it is the truth for poor man,

it is the truth for the blind man, it is the truth for the man with sight,

that is the truth of God,

the truth that serves everyone,

that reveals into the hearts of everyone that they are loved, valued,

that is the true, that is truth,

 

이것이 내가 진리라고 축복하는 진리이다

이것이 내가 기도하는 진리이다

이것이 우리 모두가 그처럼 발견하는 진리이다

 

교리 없는 진리, 편견 없는 진리, 독재적이지 않은 진리,

그냥 순수할 뿐이다,

모두를 대표하는 진리이다

그대를 존중한다

부자를 위한 진리, 가난한 자를 위한 진리,

눈 먼 사람을 위한 진리, 볼 수 있는 사람을 위한 진리이다

이것이 신의 진리이다

모두에게 기여하는 

모두의 가슴에서, 그들이 사랑받고, 가치있다는 것을 드러낸다

이것이 진짜, 이것이 진리이다

 

which is greater than your person, 

the truth that you're willing to give up the lie for, the half truth for, give up even a person for,

beacuse something inside you knows, 'yes, i'm more than that, i'm more than these things',

 

그대의 제한된 인식보다 큰,

그대가 이것을 위해 거짓을 포기할, 반쪽 진리를 포기할, 제한된 그대의 인식을 포기할 진리이다

왜냐하면 그대 안의 무언가가 안다, '그래, 나는 이것 이상이다, 나는 이런 것들 이상이다',

 

these are signs of truth, that we don't judge falsely anyone,

than you don't do anything to harm someone, diliberately

because sometimes people say, you speak something to them and they feel very offended by it,

but that was not intended, so for that, you don't have to regret,

you can say, 'i'm sorry, you took it that way, but was not my intention, my intention was actually to say something beautiful to you',

 

이런 것들이 진리의 표지들이다,

우리는 어느 누구도 그릇되게 판단하지 않는다

누군가를 의도적으로 해롭게 하지 않는다, 왜냐하면 때로 사람들이, 그대가 그들에게 무언가 말하고, 그들이 그것으로 아주 공격받은 느낌을 받는다,

하지만 그건 의도된 것이 아니었다, 그래서, 그대가 후회할 것은 아니다,

'미안하다, 네가 그렇게 받아들였다, 하지만 나의 의도가 아니었다, 나의 의도는 사실 너에게 아름다운 것을 말하려던 것이었다', 고 그대가 말할 수 있다

 

but truth can be also very sharp,

truth does not always dress in pink, it is not always going to be all cozy and fluffy,

as if i say, it's like being dropkicked by God,

sometimes we need this also, to 푸-, to really opened up,

whatever it takes, to restore you to your true nature

 

하지만 진리는 아주 예리할 수도 있다

진리가 항상 분홍색 옷을 입는 것은 아니다, 항상 포근하고 보드라울 것이 아니다

신에 의해 뻥 차이는 것과 같을 수 있다

때로는 우리에게 이것 또한 필요하다, 푸--, 그러면서 정말로 열린다,

무엇이든, 그대를 그대의 진짜 본성으로 돌려놓기 위해서는

 

so i want to tank you for coming like that, declaring, i came for truth,

 

그러니 나는 그대가 그처럼 나와서, 나는 진리를 위해 왔다 고 선언하는 것에 감사하고 싶다

 

truth and freedom, same thing,

because it cannot be freedom without the truth,

cannot be truth without freedom,

it cannot be truth without love,

it cannot be love without truth,

it cannot be truth without harmony,

it cannot be harmony wihtout truth

 

진리와 자유는 같은 것이다

진리 없이 자유는 있을 수 없다

자유 없이 진리가 있을 수 없다

사랑 없이 진리가 있을 수 없다

진리 없이 사랑이 있을 수 없다

조화 없이 진리가 있을 수 없다

진리 없이 조화가 있을 수 없다
