죽음의 죽음이다

나는 그대에게 시 를 말하고 있지 않다

나 자신이 단순한 사람이다

하지만 나는 내가 말하는 것과 내가 보는 것에 선다

everyone is at their stage they're at, in their own evolutionary drive to whatever,

first we have to talk about what that is,

first of all, we may have inumerable ideas of what the goal of life should be,

we have different periods of time,

we have a great sense of what of the need for purpose,

some people are troubled, i don't know what my purpose is,

and some people have several purposes, and some have one,

and some have, like i say, none,

and some keeps changing-

 

모두가 그들의 단계에 있다, 그것이 무엇이든 그것으로, 그들의 진화를 끌고 간다

 

먼저 우리는 그것이 무엇인지에 대해 말해야 한다

and for a while, what we know is that with all sentient beings, there is drive for growth

where is physical growth, mental growth, i'll call the spiritual growth also,

but for a while, we're in the stage of egoic identity,

our goals would be different, 

maybe your goal would be to kind of be famous, make a lot of money or to have a large family or to have one child-, whatever we have different ideas about,

and life we find that -,

i only directly met one person who said, from i was a body, i had this idea, i wanted to have a lamborghini, i wanted to have this job and made this much money,

by the time i'm so, this age i'm looking for,

indeed came and said, i did all these things, i got all these things-,

ok, fine-

but there's a lot of other things that happen that was completely unexpected,

but it won't be registered like, that's not important, because this is what i want, this is what i got,

but in order to get those things,- strong projections in the mind,

maybe you give less importance to things are much greater than that,

and perhaps no importance to things were, could be totally important in other ways,

 

그리고 잠시,

 

우리가 아는 것은, 모든 지각있는 존재들에게는, 성장을 향한 추진력이 있다는 것이다

욕체적인 성장, 정신적 성장, 영적 성장이라 부르는 것도

 

하지만 잠시 우리는, 에고에의 동일시 단계에 있는다,

우리 목적들이 다양할 것이다

유명해지는 것일 수도 있고, 많은 돈을 벌거나 커다란 가족을 갖는 것이거나, 하나의 아이를 갖는 것- 무엇이든 우리가 다양한 생각을 갖는다

 

그리고 우리가 발견하는 삶은,

 

나는 유일하게 직접적으로 이런 한 사람을 만났는데, 그는 어릴 때부터, 이런 생각을 갖고 있었다고 말했다

람보르기니를 갖고 싶다, 이런 일을 하고 싶다, 이 만큼 많은 돈을 벌고 싶다,

내가 그렇게 될 때까지는, 지금 나이에 나는 추구하고 있는 중이다, 라는

 

실제로 와서, 이 모든 것들을 다 해냈다, 이것들을 다 가졌다, 고 말했다,

 

그래, 좋다-

하지만 완전히 예상치 못하게 일어나는 여타 무수한 것들이 있다

하지만 그것은 등록되지 않을 것이다, 중요한 것이 아니기 때문에, 

왜냐하면 이것이 내가 원하는 것이고, 이것이 내가 가진 것이므로

 

하지만 그러한 것들을 얻기 위해서는, 마음에 강한 투사들을 갖는다,

but we're not gonna go so far that,

generally speaking, our ideas about what is good for us keeps chanking,

beyond our capacity to hold that still,

and even if we could hold them still, at a certain point, they'll die in front of you,

and even if something you want didn't change in front of you, your moods about it will change,

so we cannot govern all of this

 

하지만 우리는 그것으로 그렇게 멀리 가지는 않겠다,

 

일반적으로는, 우리에게 무엇이 좋은지 에 대한 생각들이 계속 변한다,

그것을 변함없이 간직할 수 있는 우리 역량과 상관없이

 

그리고 우리가 그것들을 변함없이 간직할 수 있다 해도, 어느 지점에 이르면, 그것들이 그대 앞에서 사라질 것이다

그대가 원하는 무언가가 그대 앞에서 변하지 않았다 해도, 그대의 그것에 대한 기분이 변할 것이다

그러니 우리는 이 모든 것을 다스릴 수 없다

 

so i allow in my heart for people go in their own way,

i don't want to disturb anybody, i don't want, - kind of placard to say, come and listen to me, i really dont and i won't, i promise you

 

나는 나의 가슴 안에서, 사람들이 그들 자신의 길을 가도록 둔다,

어느 누구도 방해하고 싶지 않다,

무슨 플래카드를 들고, 와서 내 말을 들어라, 하는 식을 원치 않는다,

나는 정말 그러고 싶지 않고, 그러지 않을 것이다, 약속한다

 

but because there're beings who are in search of something which has been found and recognized to be not personal, universal,

when i mean by universal is that everyone who discover will be happy,

i can't say about anything else,

i may feel that this plant, this flower here, is the most beautiful in the whole world, is the most beautiful thing in the world, but somebody is going to hate it,

whatever you think, it cannot be universally appreciated,

whether it's an idea or whatever it is, 

there's no single being, just like i can say this, 

not one single being who is loved by everybody, not even God,

this is the nature of mind,-

 

하지만 무언가 제한되지 않은 것, 전체적인 것을 발견하고 이해하는 존재들이 있기 때문에,

 

내가 전체적 이라고 하는 의미는, 발견하는 모두가 행복할 것이라는 뜻이다,

나는 그것 외에 말할 수 없다

 

내가 이 식물, 여기 이 꽃이 온 세상에서 가장 아름답다, 세상에서 가장 아름다운 것이라고 느껴도,

누군가는 그것을 싫어할 것이다

그대가 생각하는 무엇이든, 그것은 모두에 의해 이해받을 수 없다

그것이 생각이든 무엇이든

 

내가 이렇게 말할 수 있는 것처럼,

단 하나의 존재도,

모든 사람에 의해 사랑받는 자는 단 하나도 없다, 신 조차도,

이것이 마음의 본성이다

 

so let each one go, let them come like that,

but this is the only one i can say,

that if it is discovered, you cannot not be happy and fulfilled,

even demons, who the lights in wrongness in evil things, i hope the time come for them also,

that they will come to wake up to this, if they're sentient expression of consciousness,

they must be on some evolutionary move also,

they cannot come to this and say, 으엑-, give me some blood,

no everyone who discovers the truth of the self,

and i'm putting truth, not as a concept about truth but as a living recognition and experience in the heart

 

그러니 각자 가게 두어라, 그들이 그처럼 가게,

하지만 내가 말할 수 있는 하나는,

만약 그것이 발견된다면, 그대는 행복하고 충족되지 않을 수 없다

악마들조차, 사악한 것들 안의 그릇됨 속의 빛,

나는 그들을 위한 때가 또한 오기를 바란다

그들이 의식의 지각있는 표현이라면, 와서 이것에 깨어날 것이다

그들 또한 진화의 나아감에 있어야 한다

그들이 이것에 와서, 으엑, 내게 피나 내놔, 라고 할 수 없다

자신의 진리를 발견하는 어느 누구도

 

그리고 나는 진리를, 진리에 관한 개념으로서가 아니라, 가슴 안에서 살아있는 이해와 경험으로 말하고 있다

 

so what you say, i agree with that,

i would put this as the highest discovery, the most profound and complete discovery in the human kingdom,

as a potential is to wake up to the truth of what you are,

not to the belief, but to the actuality of self realization and self recognition,

we have other words for that, there's other words for it,

so i don't want to classified as though it belongs to a particular religion,

it's the same thing whether it's called freedom or moksha or salvation or transcendence or whatever it is,

is is the same thing, it's come back to the origin

 

그러니 그대가 말하는 것에 나는 동의한다

나는 이것을 인간 왕국에서 가장 높은 발견, 가장 깊고 완결된 발견이라고 할 것이다

잠재성으로서, 그대인 것의 진리에 깨어나는 것이다

and one of the great things that seems to be obstacle to that is the creation in the mind,

that it's kind of death, 

and i said, yes it is, it is death to death,

and it is death to what is not real, it's death to what is untrue,

you wanna call death? i can also say, it is the neutralizing of that which is not,

that it is thought to be really true but is not in service to the truth and to rich and complete existence,

i can say, yes, these things will be transcended

 

그리고 그것에 이르는데 장애물로 보이는 큰 것들 중 하나는, 마음에서 만들어내는 것,

(마음은 그것이 ) 일종의 죽음이라고 한다

 

그리고 나는 말한다,

그렇다, 그것은 죽음의 죽음이다

진짜이지 않은 것의 죽음이다, 진실하지 않은 것의 죽음이다,

그대는 죽음이라 하고 싶은가,

나는 또한 그것은, 아닌 것의 중화 라고도 하겠다

정말로 진짜인 것으로 생각되었지만, 진리에, 풍요롭고 완결된 존재에 기여하지 않는 것의

in fact, they'll come to be seen that they didn't even really exist,

just in the same way that the world view you have in your mind only exist in your mind,

it is not appropriate to say that,

that's how things are,

it is how you perceive them to be,

and i don't know if you perceive that

and this is why it is good that human beings live together

to try out our projections, our subjective assumptions about life,

and to see that there are other ways of looking at things

and perhaps to broaden our self and to be more open that yes, there is not one single conceptual conclusions that will please everybody,

even people don't want to go to the same heaven

 

이래서 인간 존재들이 함께 사는 것은 좋다

우리 투사들, 삶에 관한 주관적인 가정들을 실험해본다,

그리고 그것들을 바라보는 다른 방식들이 있다는 것을 본다

아마 우리 자신의 폭을 넓히고, 보다 열리게 되어서, 그래, 모든 사람들을 만족시킬 단 하나의 개념적 결론이란 없구나,

 

사람들은 똑같은 천국에도 가고 싶어하지 않는다

 

so anything that is concept based is subject to change and will change,

if it does not change, you will change,

so that aspect of the self which is changeful, 

we gradually come to see that they're also perceivable to great delight,

and that whatever the mischiefs, whatever the misunderstandings, misconceptions of our life,

is not we have to put each thing right,

but by recognizing what is true, those things which are not true fall away by themselves,

is that not wonderful?

 

그렇게 개념에 근거한 것은 어떤 것이든 변하게 되어 있고, 변할 것이다

만일 그것이 변하지 않는다면, 그대가 변할 것이다

그래서 변하는 자신의 측면은,

커다란 기쁨에 대비해서, 그것들 또한 인식할 수 있는 것들 이라는 것을 우리가 점차 보게 된다

 

그리고 우리 삶의 무슨 장난이라든, 오해이든, 잘못된 생각이든,

우리가 그 각각을 바로잡지 않아도 된다

무엇이 진짜인지 를 이해하는 것으로, 그런 것들은 스스로 떨어져 나간다

놀랍지 않은가

 

if you had to go back and put everything that we think we do wrong right, 

most we cannot even remember,

would that not the most horrible thing?

 

돌아가서, 우리가 잘못했다고 생각하는 모든 것을 바로잡으려면,

대부분을 우리가 기억도 할 수 없다

정말 끔찍한 일 아닌가

 

so discovering, not a file of concepts, i'm not giving you a file of concepts,

i'm using those concepts to point to that which is beyond concept,

and i'm asking you, how far is it?

how long would it take? 

how far is it to point to that which is concept free?

is there any distance at all?

isn't it amazing?

 

그래서 발견은,

한 무더기의 개념이 아니다,

나는 그대에게 개념 덩어리들을 주지 않는다

그런 개념들을 개념을 넘어서 있는 것을 가리키기 위해 활용한다

 

그리고 나는 묻는다,

그것은 얼마나 멀리 떨어져 있는가

그것에 이르는데 얼마나 걸리는가

개념에서 자유로운 그것, 가리키는 것이 얼마나 멀리 있는가

거리가 있기나 한가

 

놀랍지 않은가

 

so this body can be used in so many ways,

one body, we all have similiar body, and yet look how many different ways we're approaching,

same body, one earth, so many different views about it,

and we like to be different also,

and even the one who's free have not fight with their apparent differences,

so nice each thing is unique,

 

이 몸은 아주 많은 방식으로 사용될 수 있다

하나의 몸, 우리 모두가 비슷한 몸을 갖고 있다, 하지만 우리가 다가가는 방식이 얼마나 다른지 봐라,

같은 몸, 하나의 지구, 그것에 대한 무수히 다른 관점들,

 

그리고 우리는 다르고 싶어하기도 한다

자유로운 자 조차, 그들의 달라보이는 것들로 싸우지 않는다

각각 독특한 것은 좋다

 

take one flower- thousand petals, each petal is unique, does not lead to confusion,

no, not at all, in the one who's mind is harmonious,

all things are flowing in the one harmony,

however diversed is the expression of couscciousness, in the mind of the one who sees,

all of them boil down to one to the same DNA as consciousness,

they understand,

and that is like, all of this can be allowed to be as unique in its expression,

without trying to make things look alike,

because you have found the one that they are,

is that not wonderful?

 

꽃 하나도, 천 개의 꽃잎도, 각 개가 독특하다,

혼란으로 끌고 가지 않는다

아니다, 전혀,

마음이 조화로운 이 안에서는, 모든 것들이 하나의 조화로 흐른다

의식의 표현이 얼마나 다양하든, 

보는 자의 마음 안에서는, 그것들 모두가 하나로, 의식으로서 같은 DNA 에 이른다

 

그들은 이해한다

그리고 이 모든 것이 그것의 표현에서 독특한 것으로 두어진다

똑같이 만들려 하지 않는다

그들인 것을 발견했기 때문에

 

멋지지 않은가

 

and find it beyond merely conceptual conviction,

discover it as the life of life itself, the life that gives life itself

 

단지 개념적인 확신을 넘어 발견한다

삶의 삶 자체로서, 삶 자체에 삶을 주는 삶으로서 발견한다

but i stand what i say and what i see
