세상에 있는 모든 다른 인간 존재와 연결될 때

'if one is privileged to be totally aware, how can one help another to uncondition and so on?'

 

'누군가 완전히 깨어나는 특권을 갖는다면, 다른 이들이 조건화에서 벗어나도록 등을 어떻게 도울 수 있는가?'

 

why, if i may ask, do you use the word privilege?

what is there sacred or priviledged about being aware?

that's a natural thing, isn't it, to be aware?

and if you are aware of your own conditioning, of the turmoil, of the squalor, of the dirt, the war, the hatred,

you know what is happening in the world, the tears, the sorrow of those poor people being killed,

the children, the mothers, all that

 

내가 묻는다면, 왜 특권이라는 말을 사용하는가

깨어있는 것과 관련해서 신성하거나 특권을 누리는 것이 무엇이 있는가

그것은 자연스러운 것이다, 그렇지 않은가, 깨어있는 것은

if you are aware of all that

you will establish relationship with another so complete,

so then when you are related to another so completely,

you are related to every other human being in the world

if i'm related to my wife, my husband, somebody completely, totally, not as an idea or an image, completely,

then i'm related to every other human being in the world,

then i will see i will not hurt another

not with the desire to help another

that's the most terrible thing to say, 'i want to help another'

그리고 그대가 그것을 바라볼 수 없다면, 그러면 왜 그럴 수 없는지 찾아내라

그대는 왜 그렇게 무관심하고, 냉담하고, 얄팍하고, 공허하게 되었는가
