생각만이 아니라, 생각들을 생각하는 자 또한 생각이다

'이것이 아니다, 이것이 아니다', 라는 말이,

나타나는 모든 장을 두루 움직여다닐 것이다

 

나는 이것이다, 라고 할 한 가지도 찾지 못할 것이다

 

/the self is the identity of everyone/

 

/자신 은 모두의 정체성이다/

 

whether you're aware of it or not

but best you're aware of it

 

그대가 인식하든 그렇지 않든

하지만 인식하는 것이 좋다

 

/you are everything, the unbroken whole/

 

/그대는 모든 것이다, 끊어짐 없는 전체/

 

that's what we are

we are hearing this, but as it become real for us yet, there are many who are not yet heard this, there are many who have no interest to hear this yet, do we curse them? do we blame them? not at all

is just your time to hear this

is it yet true for you? maybe, is becoming more true

 

그것이 우리다

우리는 이것을 듣고 있다, 우리에게 진짜가 되어가고 있다

아직 이런 것을 들어보지 않은 많은 이들이 있다

이런 것을 듣는데 관심 없는 많은 이들이 있다

우리는 그들을 저주하는가, 그들을 비난하는가, 전혀 아니다

그냥 그대가 이런 것을 들을 시간이다

그대에게는 진짜인가, 아마 더 진짜가 되어가고 있는 중일 것이다

 

we said the self is immutable, unchanging

 

우리는, 자신은 불변이고, 변하지 않는다 라 말한다

 

/the thinker and the thought do not even exist/

 

/생각하는 자와 생각은 존재하지도 않는다/

 

so not just the thought, but the one who is thinking them also doesn't exist

not just a thought, but one thinking them is also thought

 

단지 생각만이 아니다, 생각들을 생각하는 자 또한 존재하지 않는다

생각만이 아니라, 생각들을 생각하는 자 또한 생각이다

 

/o mind, how can you go on thinking so shamelessly/

 

/오 마음아, 너는 어떻게 그렇게 부끄러움 없이 계속 생각할 수 있는가/

 

so who is the thinker then? mind

if mind is the thinker, and he's saying that the thinker and the thought do not exist,

can you be the mind then?

 

그러면 생각하는 자는 누구인가, 마음이다

마음이 생각하는 자라면, 

 

그는, 생각하는 자와 생각은 존재하지 않는다 라 말한다

그러면 그대는 마음일 수 있는가

 

people believe them, if something is perceived, if it manifests, it's enough evidence it exist

but the sage cannot mean that

because obviously, if the sage is saying the thinker and the thought,

mean he's also aware of the thinker and also of thought

so it's not enough that because the thinker is perceived and the thought is perceived that they exist

he said, they don't exist

you perceive them, but they don't exist

 

사람들은, 만일 무언가 인식되고, 그것이 나타나면, 그것이 존재한다는 충분한 입증이라 믿는다

하지만 현자가 그렇게 의도했다 할 수 없다

분명히, 현자가, 생각하는 자와 생각을 말한다면

그 또한 생각하는 자와 생각 또한 인식한다는 뜻이다

 

생각하는 자가 인식되고, 생각이 인식되는 것으로, 그것들이 존재한다고 하는 것으로 충분하지 않다

그는 말한다, 그것들은 존재하지 않는다

그대는 그것들을 인식한다, 하지만 그것들은 존재하지 않는다

 

they have no fundamental reality, they are all in time, they are subject to change

so if something is changing, like see the cloud-

you fall in love with the shape, the shape is changed, is that the same cloud?

so nothing that has shape, he say, no

 

그들에게는 근본적인 실체가 없다, 모두 시간 안에 있다, 변하게 된다

그래서 무언가 변하는 것이라면, 

구름을 보는 것처럼-

그대가 모양과 사랑에 빠진다, 모양이 변화되었다, 같은 구름인가

 

그래서 모양을 가진 것은 어떤 것도, 

그는 말한다, 아니다

 

even the thing that doesn't change, your attitude and your mood about it changes

so the way that you experience is always changing

all experiencing doesn't exist, because it's always changing

even the experiencer is always changing

but that which is aware of the experiencer, the experiencing, and the thing that is being experienced,

itself cannot be seen

 

변하지 않는 것도, 그것에 대한 그대의 태도와 그대의 분위기가 변화한다

그렇게 그대가 경험하는 방식이 항상 변하고 있다

모든 경험은 존재하지 않는다, 항상 변하기 때문에

경험하는 자조차 항상 변하고 있다

하지만 경험하는 자, 경험, 경험되는 것을 인식하는 것, 그것 자체는 바라보아질 수 없다

 

we have not been brought with them

if we were brought up with these from where we were children, 

and if our adult family will lived it, then automatically the children, we would have absorbed it

because what is satsang, satsang means to associate with the truth

so just by associating, by being in good company, you imbibe, it's infused in you

 

우리는 이런 것들로 자라지 않았다

우리가 어릴 때부터 이런 것들로 자라났다면

어른 가족이 그것을 살았다면, 자동적으로 아이들은, 우리는 그것을 흡수했을 것이다

왜냐하면 사트상이 무엇인가, 사트상은 진리와 연결한다는 뜻이다

그래서 그냥 연결하는 것으로, 좋은 동료로 있는 것으로, 그대가 받아들인다, 그대 안에 흡수된다
