오로지 그대가 그대 자신을 인식할 때에만, 영화가 보일 수 있다, 그 전에는 아니다

물론 내가 그대에게 주는 것이 아닐 것이다 왜냐하면

오랫동안, 그대는 하늘을 바라보고 있는데

그대가 바라보고 있는 것은 다양한 구름들, 달, 별, 밤과 낮, 으로 그대가 하늘을 설명할 수 있다

그 다음 누군가가 와서 말한다

'그래, 그런 것들은 하늘 안에서 일어나는 다양한 모습들이다

내가 하늘이라 하는 것은, 이런 모든 것의 배경이다, 한계 없고 변하지 않는다

그것을 볼 수 있는가'

what is the relationships between That and consciousness which manifest content?

because looking from this perspective, the manifesting consciousness and its world, content of various people-,

becomes like a movie

and the witness of the movie which you may call your sense of presence,

because only when you're aware of yourself, the movie can be seen, not before

but the one who is watching the movie, experiencing all of this, also appear

and is seen to appear?

 

[그것] 과 내용을 드러내는 의식 사이의 관계는 무엇인가

왜냐하면 이 견지에서 바라보면, 드러나는 의식과 그것의 세상, 여러 서로 다른 사람들의 내용 등이

영화처럼 된다

그리고 영화를 바라보는 자는, 그대가 존재의 느낌 이라 할 수 있겠다

오로지 그대가 그대 자신을 인식할 때에만, 영화가 보일 수 있다, 그 전에는 아니다

하지만 영화를 바라보는 자, 이 모든 것을 경험하는 자 또한 나타나 보인다

나타나 보이는 것으로 보이는가

 

is just a point i'm making

so let's just put our attention around this last statement,

That out of which comes consciousness, the witness, the sense of being, the sense of person, world,

all of that manifest consciousness is taken to be real, everything is so alive, so important-

inside this dream

which is also inside our self

can we say that even this emerging consciousness is inside our self or does that feel blasphemy?

 

가리키고 있을 뿐이다

 

우리 주의를 이 마지막 말에 두어보자

그것 에서 의식이 나온다, 바라보는 자, 존재의 느낌, 제한된 인식의 느낌, 세상,

그런 모든 드러나보이는 의식이 진짜인 것으로 받아들여진다,

모든 것이 너무나 살아있다, 너무 중요하다-----

이 꿈 안에서

그것 또한 우리 자신 안에 있다

 

이 나타나는 의식도 우리 자신 안에서 라 말할 수 있을까

아니면 그것은 해서는 안 될 것인가

 

and is what i'm sharing practical? or is just sort of like spiritual game?

 

그리고 내가 나누고 있는 것이 실용적인가

아니면 그냥 영적 게임과 같을 뿐인가

 

how can that understanding, experiential understanding impact upon the life that is unfolding and the way that the life is perceived?

because if we take ourselves only to be personal, you see that you are not stable, you can conquer nothing

you say something, 'this is real now', the next day, the habit, change your mind

you cannot help it because let's say, God made that such a way that everything that is appearing in the consciousness is changeful, subject to change

and when you're identified with a person who's also subject to change

the person is always trying to find the best thing that the person experience, to try to keep that from changing, which is of course, it doesn't work,

gives rise to disappointment, suffering, sadness, all these things come

 

어떻게 그 이해가, 경험상 이해가, 펼쳐지고 있는 삶과 삶이 인식되는 방식에 영향을 줄 수 있을까

 

우리가 우리 자신을 단지 제한된 인식으로만 받아들이면,

안정되어 있지 못한 것을 본다, 아무것도 극복할 수 없다

그대가, '지금 이것이 진짜다' 라 뭔가 말한다

다음 날, 습관은, 그대의 마음을 바꾼다

그대가 어쩔 수 없다 왜냐하면

이를테면

신이 그런 식으로 만들었다, 의식 안에서 나타나 보이는 모든 것이 변한다, 변하게 되어 있다

그리고 그대가 제한된 인식에 동일시되어 있을 때, 그 또한 변하게 되어 있다

제한된 인식은 항상 가장 좋은 것을 경험하려 하고, 그것을 변하게 하지 않으려 한다

물론, 그렇게는 안 된다

그것이 실망, 고통, 슬픔을 일으킨다, 이런 모든 것들이 나타난다

 

now if i place the center of what we call our self in the place of the seeing,

does that hurt?

have i put you in a place of restrictiveness?

can you confirm if what you are hearing is true?

then what remains to be done?

 

이제 내가, 우리가 우리 자신 이라 부르는 것의 중심을, 바라봄의 자리에 둔다면

그것이 아프게 하는가

내가 그대를 제한된 곳에 두는 것인가

그대가 듣고 있는 것이 사실이라는 것을 그대는 확인할 수 있는가

그러면 해야 할 것으로 무엇이 남는가

 

of course, i'm not going to give you there because 

is like saying, for a long time, you're looking at the sky and all you're seeing is different kinds of clouds, moon, stars, night and days, you can describe the sky

then someone came and say, 'yes those are different forms that happen in the sky, when i say sky, the background of all of this, is limitless and unchanging, can you see that?'

 

물론 내가 그대에게 주는 것이 아닐 것이다 왜냐하면

'i always though the sky means the clouds and the weather, rainbows and sun, moon, stars-

but now i've seen that the sky is, including that, but vaster than that, immense'

 

'나는 항상 하늘이란, 구름과 날씨, 무지개, 해, 달, 별 등이라 생각했다

하지만 이제 나는 하늘이, 그러한 것을 포함하여, 하지만 그보다 더 광대한 것이라는 것을 보았다'

 

now does the sky mind if there's full intensity of clouds or different changes,

does it need to get rid of those things to be the most perfect sky?

 

그러면 하늘은,

구름들이 강하게 몰려와 꽉 채우는 것이나 다양한 변화들을 꺼려하는가

가장 완벽한 하늘이기 위해, 그러한 것들을 제거해야 하는가
