그대는 누구인가,공간 안에 존재하는 자인가, 아니면 원소 중 가장 미묘한 공간조차 인식하는 그것인가

안으로의 깨어남이어야 한다

이래서, 그대 홀로

 

사트상에 와서, 이런 가리킴들을 나눈다, 

하지만 그대는 안으로 따라야 한다

i listen to the first thing you say, in order that the last thing you finish,

i see the first thing you say is,

'sometimes sitting, when i'm by myself, i feel this energy that mind come in,

and i want to know what i must, if i should do something about this noise',

 

에너지가 소란스럽다고 한다면,

나는 그대가 말한 처음의 것에 귀 기울인다, 그대가 끝내는 마지막 것을 위해

그대가 처음 말한 것은,

'때로는 앉아있는데, 나 홀로 있을 때, 이런 에너지를 느낀다, 마음이 들어선다,

listen, the one you're speaking of is still a traveller

'i was before like this, now i am like this'

this is not the voice of the stillness

stillness has nobody being still there

 

잘 들어라, 그대가 말하는 그 자는 여전히 여행자다

'나는 이전에는 이랬다, 지금은 이렇다'

이것은 고요함의 목소리가 아니다

고요함에는 고요한 자가 없다

 

so one who comes to stillness cannot remain in stillness, because by nature he is oscillating

awareness is not an entity that can suffer attraction or distraction

so satsang dialogue is happening, it's still in the realm of phenomenality

but it's the highest, the boundary of phenomenality

because even such a high point of observation, 

that even the question, 'can awareness be distracted?'

absolutely not

 

이것은 정말 좋은 가리킴이다, 그녀가 묻는다, '각성이 방해를 받을 수 있는가'

각성은 끌어당김이나 장애로 고통을 겪을 수 있는 어떤 존재가 아니다

it is beyond being distracted

nothing can happen to it

it is not an entity that something can happen to

because of the awareness, the world comes into play

all manifestion is happening inside it

it is the pure intelligence behind knowledge and all perceiving, it is just here

 

그것은 방해를 받는다는 것을 벗어나 있다

그것에 일어날 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없다

그것은, 그것에 무언가가 일어날 수 있는 어떤 존재가 아니다

각성 때문에, 세상이 놀이로 들어선다

모든 드러남이 그것 안에서 일어난다

그것은 순수 지성이다, 앎과 모든 인식 뒤에 있는

그것은 그냥 여기에 있다

 

when i say, it's behind, 

human words cannot talk about it

behind, you can say this, but it's neither behind nor in front

it's like even space exist in it

what is more subtle that space?

 

내가, 그것은 뒤에 있다, 라고 할 때

so therefore in using human language, we say, like space,

meaning it's not even space, subtler than space

now i want to show you something

you are aware of speace, isn't it?

who are you?, the one who is existing in space? or that which is even aware of space which is the most subtle of the element?

what can perceive space?

it must be even subtler than space

 

그래서 인간의 언어를 사용해서 우리는, 공간과 같다 라고 한다

공간조차 아니다, 공간보다 미묘하다 라는 뜻이다

 

이제 나는 그대에게 뭔가 보여주고 싶다

그대는 공간을 인식한다, 그렇지 않은가

그대는 누구인가,

공간 안에 존재하는 자인가, 아니면

원소 중 가장 미묘한 공간조차 인식하는 그것인가

 

무엇이 공간을 인식할 수 있는가

그것은 공간보다 더 미묘한 것이어야 한다

 

and look how easy you answer

are you aware of space? yes

this answer comes so easy

but the one who thinks they are searching,

because there's belief in this one who itself is appearing in space,

so much energy and identity is in the person, 

the person is always perceived,

by what is it perceived?

 

그리고 그대가 얼마나 쉽게 답하는지 봐라

그대는 공간을 인식하는가, 그렇다 고

이 답이 아주 쉽게 나온다

 

하지만 그들이 찾고 있다고 생각하는 자는,

이 자에의 믿음이 있다, 그것 자체가 공간에서 나타나 보인다

그렇게나 많은 에너지와 동일시가 제한된 인식으로 있다

제한된 인식은 언제나 인식된다

무엇에 의해 인식되는가

 

i don't care about your answer

only you're looking

you give the answer, but you cannot accept yourself

 

나는 그대의 답에 신경쓰지 않는다

그대가 볼 뿐이다

그대가 내게 답을 준다, 하지만 그대는 그대 자신을 받아들이지 못한다

 

if you are aware of space, that includs all the things that appear in space

none of them manifest without space

 

그대가 공간을 인식한다면, 그것은 공간에 나타나 보이는 모든 것들을 포함한다

그것들 중 어떤 것도 공간 없이 드러나지 않는다

 

so even space, is going to be the greatest noun

the action within the noun, you may call that verb

the great noun is space
