그 하는 것 안에서 그대가 누구인지 이다

그래서 그대를 판단할 신이 있다면, 그는

'자 봐라, 나는 너를 엄청난 잠재성을 가진 것으로 만들었는데, 고작 수퍼마켓에서 일하는 것으로 끝나다니, 어쩌냐'

라 말하지 않을 것이다

아니다, 그건 아주 인간의 것이다

 

그대의 깨어남 이 중요한 것이다, 그대가 그대인 진리에 깨어나는 것

그것이 그대의 일이다

it's not that there's nothing to do, activities will still continue to happen

but yourself acting as the doer of them, will diminish in its sense of importance

because it's not just doing, doing but who you are in that doing

it's not just actions, actions, actions but if you feel i am the doer of it, pride may come

if you see by paying attention to your own being that things happen unexpectedly

and very often when you're quiet and open,

you see that in these happenings although they appear to be spontanoues and unexpected,

somehow carries you within them in a way that seems cared for and harmonious

this is the one that's not doing, you see

activities happen through this body, but still there's a sense that i'm not really doing

 

해야 할 것이 없다 는 것이 아니다

활동들은 여전히 계속해서 일어날 것이다

하지만 그것들을 하는 자로서 움직이는 그대는, 그 중요성이 줄어들 것이다

왜냐하면 단지 하는 것, 하는 것에 관한 것이 아니다

그 하는 것 안에서 그대가 누구인지 이다

 

단지 움직임, 움직임, 움직임 에 관한 것이 아니다

그대가 그것을 하는 자 라 느낀다면, 자부심이 올 것이다

 

그대 자신의 존재에 주의를 기울이는 것으로, 그대가 바라본다면

기대치 못한 것들이 일어난다

그리고 아주 자주, 그대가 고요하고 열려 있을 때

일어나는 것들이 즉시적이고 기대된 것이 아니어 보일지라도

어떻든 그것들 안에 그대가 있다는 것을 본다

보살펴지고 조화로운 것 같아 보이는 방식으로

 

이 자가, 하는 자가 아니다

활동들은 이 몸을 통해 일어난다, 하지만 그럼에도 정말로는 내가 하는 것이 아니라는 느낌이 있다

 

many people in satsang, when they work together

like for instance, when we've had to travel to another country for satsang,

our team may have to go to ashram that hasn't been used for some months,

so it looks negelcted and it needs cleaning,

we all come together to work together

and many people tell you, it's like we were wind assisted

it was like the wind of grace that has carried us

we felt that we had to do so many things get so dirty

but it turned out to be such a joy and we felt privileged to be part of this group

becasue if we sweated, our sweat tasted sweet to us

becasue it was a joy, we were pulled into an unexpected vibration of much joy

and we simply became unafraid of participating like that

in a sense, they're saying, we forgot our self and we becasme our self

 

사트상의 많은 사람들이, 그들이 함께 일할 때

예를 들면, 우리가 사트상을 위해 다른 나라로 여행을 해야했을 때

우리 팀은 몇 달 동안 사용하지 않은 아쉬람에 가야 했을 것이다

버려져 있는 것으로 보이고, 청소가 필요하다

우리 모두가 함께 모여, 함께 작업한다

 

그리고 많은 사람들이 말한다, '우리가 한 것 같지 않다'

'은혜로움의 바람이 우리를 나른 것 같았다'

우리는 너무나 더러운 많은 것들을 해야 하는 것으로 느꼈다

하지만 엄청난 기쁨, 이 그룹의 일부가 되는 것이 특권인 것으로 느껴졌다

우리가 땀을 흘렸다면, 우리 땀은 우리에게 달콤한 맛이 났다

기쁨이었다

기대치못한 큰 기쁨의 진동으로 끌려들었고, 그처럼 참여하는데 그저 두렵지 않아졌다

 

한편으로 그들이 말하길, '우리는 우리 자신을 잊었다 그리고 우리 자신이 되었다'

in this play of life, whether you like it or not

you play a role that has been designated to play

the role in itself, in its outer expression is one thing,

but you are to understand inside your being, your true nature

someone can be awake to the fullnes of the truth of who they are,

and they may continue like before being a shoe-shiner or a dustman or a doctor or a politician

on the outer side, they are doing that

but they're fulfilled their opportunities and purpose, they have awakend to the truth

 

이 삶의 놀이에서, 그대가 좋아하든 아니든

하기로 되어 있는 그대의 역할이 있다

역할 자체, 그것의 외부적 표현이 한 가지

 

하지만 그대는 그대 자신의 존재, 그대의 진짜 본성을 이해하기로 되어 있다

 

누군가가 자신이 누구인지의 진리에 완전히 깨어날 수 있다

그리고 그들은 계속해서 이전처럼, 구두닦이나 청소부, 의사, 정치가 일 수 있다

바깥쪽에서는

그들은 그렇게 한다

하지만 그들은 성취되었다, 그들의 기회와 목적이, 그들은 진리에 깨어났다

 

so if there's a God who's going to judge you, he's not going to say,

'listen, i made you with so much potential and you end up just working in supermarkets,

what am i going to do?'

no, that's a very human thing

your realization is what's important that you wake up to the truth of who you are

that is your work

 

그래서 그대를 판단할 신이 있다면, 그는
