나 가 일어난 후에야, 다른 개념들이 올 수 있다

내가 묻곤 한다,

그대는 인식의 대상 쪽인가, 인식의 렌즈 앞에 있는 대상인가, 그대는 바라보아지는 대상인가

아니면 인식의 렌즈 뒤에 있는가

혹은 그것조차 벗어나서?

remember, there's no thought or concept greater or more intimate than i

i, you can say, it's the first concept

after only when i arise, then other concepts can come

so i is the most important one

and you're saying also, this i that has history, relationships, even the highest relationships with teacher or master or even God, can you say, is also seen

does this seeing include you?

 

기억해라, '나' 보다 더 크거나 가까운 생각이나 개념은 없다

나, 그것이 첫 번째 개념 이라고 할 수 있다

나 가 일어난 후에야, 다른 개념들이 올 수 있다

그래서 나 가 가장 중요한 자이다

 

그리고 그대는 또한 말한다, 

이 나, 과거사가 있고, 관계들이 있고, 선생님이나 스승, 심지어 신 과의 가장 높은 관계를 가진 나,

또한 바라보아진다

이 바라봄 안에 그대가 있는가

 

sometimes i ask you, are you at object of perception, are you an object in front of the lens of perception, are you the object seen? or are you behind the lens of perception?

or even beyond?

 

내가 묻곤 한다,

그대는 인식의 대상 쪽인가, 인식의 렌즈 앞에 있는 대상인가, 그대는 바라보아지는 대상인가

아니면 인식의 렌즈 뒤에 있는가

혹은 그것조차 벗어나서?

 

when i give you this type of pointing, 

when i say these things, and i have a sense that they connect with you inside the heart as real understanding,

and understanding, experienced understanding,

then my teachings are becoming simpler and simpler

maybe i don't have more food to give you

why, because that which you are does not need food of concepts

you noticed?

i'm not interested in giving you more books to read, more things to listen to, more videos,

because what i have discovered is the mind, especially the spiritual mind that is living on more, 'reading, ah meditate,-', it can be like this

and that itself can be avoidance

 

내가 그대에게 이런 가리킴을 줄 때, 

내가 이런 것들을 말할 때, 

나는 그것들이 가슴 안에서 그대와 진짜 이해로서 연결성을 갖는 것을 느낀다

이해, 경험된 이해

 

그러면 나의 가르침들은 점점 더 단순해진다

아마 나는 그대에게 줄 음식이 더는 없을 수 있다

왜 인가, 그대에게 필요한 것은 개념들이란 음식이 아니기 때문이다

그대는 알아차렸는가

나는 그대에게, 읽을 더 많은 책들, 들어야 할 더 많은 것들, 더 많은 비디오 를 주는데 괸심 없다

왜냐하면 내가 발견해 온 것은,

마음, 특히 영적인 마음은, '더 많은 읽을꺼리, 아 명상해야지 명상해야지' 로 살고 있다

이런 식일 수 있다

그리고 그 자체가 회피일 수 있다

 

the sign that you are discovering or that your discovery has come to non-dual conclusion,

destroys the practice

doesn't have to destroy anything

the practice drops away by itself

 

그대가 발견하고 있다, 혹은 그대의 발견이 비이원적인 결론에 이르러 있다는 표지는

수행을 무너뜨린다

어떤 것도 무너뜨려야 할 것 없다

수행이 스스로 떨어져 나간다

 

so any teaching which is getting more and more complex, more and more to think about, more and more meditation, more and more pilgrimage,

is taking you away from your truth

the teachings must be as effective as looking in a mirror and seeing your reflection, pure reflection

you'll never go to a mirror, and the mirror says to you, 'wait a minute, i'm busy reflecting other things right now. so i have to download your reflection', instantly

this is the way with the true mind, the true seeing

reveals  that which you have been searching for to be your own self

but not personal

 

그래서 어느 가르침이든, 점점 더 복잡해지고, 더 생각할 것이 많아지고, 더 많이 명상해야 하고, 더 많은 순례를 해야 하는 것은

그대를 그대의 진리로부터 벗어나게 한다

가르침은 거울을 보고, 그대의 비추어진 모습, 순수한 비추어진 모습을 보는 것 만큼이나 효과적이어야 한다

그대가 거울에게 가니, 거울이 그대에게 말한다, '잠깐, 나는 지금 다른 것들을 비추느라 바빠, 그러니 네 비추어지는 모습을 다운로드 해야겠다' 라는 것은 있지 않을 것이다

 

이것이 진짜 마음, 진짜 바라봄과의 방식이다

그대가 찾아온 것이 그대 자신의 자신이라는 것을 드러내는 것

하지만 제한된 인식의 자신이 아니라
