그대가 본다, 그대가 인식하는 것 어느 것이든, 구름 외 다른 것인가

우리 모두가 그런 역량을 갖고 있다

제한된 인식과 같은 것인, 터널 같은 초점처럼, 그저 제한되어 있는 것이 아니다

조화의 파장이 더욱 들어설 수 있는 것 같다

나는 진심으로 이 말을 하고 있다

제한된 인식의 마음은 아주 제한되어 있다, 그리고 그것은 오로지 자기 이익의 측면에만 기여하는 것 같다

우리 마음은 아주 조화로울 수 있고, 넓을 수 있는데 반해서

we don't know what it takes

i use the word, grace

whatever can't explain something that i see in you, i say it is grace

means, unmerited,

not because you're so good

therefore even the person with the worst background is not exempt,

in a moment, he could surpass

that's how fickle the standards can be

someone may seem, people say, 'forget about this guy, he'll never change'

who are you to say that, you don't know

maybe his beings is just waiting to burst open, haven't found that

no one can say

someone can be practicing spiritually for many------ years, and still inch along,

somebody come that, just complete, don't know anything about religion, don't know anything about God, somehow in that moment, somehow it's like 'whoa', that twist of consciousness and

 

뭐가 드는지 우리가 모른다

나는, 은혜로움, 이라는 말을 사용한다

내가 그대 안에서 보는, 설명할 수 없는 것 무엇이든, 나는 그것을 은혜로움 이라 한다

뭔가 해서 얻은 것이 아니라는 뜻이다

그대가 너무 잘해서 라는 것이 아니다

 

그래서 최악의 배경을 가진 사람이라도 예외가 아니다

한 순간에, 그는 다 지나갈 수 있다

그래서 기준이 변덕스러울 수 있는 것이다

 

누군가는, 사람들이 말하길, '이 자는 버려, 절대 안 변해' 

그렇게 말하는 그대는 누구인가, 그대가 모른다

아마 그의 존재는 그냥 열리길 기다리는 것일 수 있다, 아직 발견하지 못했다

아무도 말할 수 없다

 

누군가는 영적으로 무수한 시간 동안 단련할 수 있다, 하지만 아직 좀

누군가가 와서는 바로 완결한다, 종교에 대해 아무것도 모르고, 신에 대해 아무것도 모르는데, 어떻게 해서인가

그 순간에, 어떻든 '워어',

의식의 전환 그리고

 

even like we speak this, it's grace also, because if you're listening with your heart, you should be totally empty actually

meaning that mind forces have no influence unless something is holding on 'but-'

when that is also recognized, that cannot be anything other than cloud

then you see, is there anything that you perceive, that is other than cloud?

then you're seeing from and as sky itself

even if whole group of clouds could join together and say, 'we're going to block the sky'

 

우리가 이렇게 말하는 것도, 또한 은혜로움 이다

그대가 그대의 가슴으로 듣고 있다면, 그대는 사실 완전히 비어 있어야 한다

마음의 힘들이 영향력을 갖지 못한다는 뜻이다, 뭔가가 '하지만, 하지만-' 이라 잡고 있지 않다면

 

그것 또한, 구름 외 다른 것일 수 없다는 것이 알아차려질 때,

그대가 본다, 그대가 인식하는 것 어느 것이든, 구름 외 다른 것인가

그러면 그대는 하늘 그 자체로서, 하늘로부터 바라보고 있다

무수한 구름이 몰려와서, '우리는 하늘을 봉쇄할 것이다' 라 말한다 해도

 

by their nature, they have to pass

and anyway sky just laughs, how funny i am, i make jokes like this for myself

 

그들의 본성상, 그들은 지나가야 한다

그리고 아무튼 하늘은 그냥 웃는다, 내가 얼마나 웃긴지, 나는 이렇게 나 혼자 농담하고 있다

you're just asking, 'how do i remember all these things?'

 

그대가 묻는다, '내가 이런 모든 것들을 어떻게 기억하는지'

 

i don't rehearse it, just that

and of course, your things also, that's not remembered

but somehow-, when your mind is so broad, open

as all of us have the capacity for that, and it's not just restricted, just like some kind of tunnel like focus which is like personal

is like the cosmic waves can come in more, i really say this

the personal mind is very restricted and it seemed to work only to serve person's sort of self interest in a way

whereas our mind can be very cosmic, can be broad,

is like plugged into the power house much more broader

it works in much a different way, much broader

 

나는 연습하지 않는다, 그건 그냥

물론 그대의 것들 또한, 기억되는 것이 아니다

어떻게 해서인가,

그대의 마음이 아주 넓게 열릴 때

 

우리 모두가 그런 역량을 갖고 있다

발전소에 플러그를 꼽는 것과 같다, 훨씬 더 폭넓다

훨씬 더 다르게 작용한다, 훨씬 더 넓다

 

now you can say, other things you won't remember

of course, i'm not concerned about things that i might forget

because i have this attitude that, it's in the cosmic conscioiusness,

what can be left way, what can be remembered,

just kind of trust

 

이제 그대는, '그대는 다른 것들은 기억하지 못할 것이다' 라 말할 수 있다

물론, 나는 내가 잊을지도 모를 것들에 대해 걱정하지 않는다

나는 이런 태도를 갖고 있다, 그것은 조화 의식 안에 있다

버려질 수 있는 것, 기억될 수 있는 것,

 

그냥 신뢰와 같다

 

and also of course, i do get support by the collective memory that functions between all of us

because everyone, i feel in satsang, should be more attuned to broader conscicousness

and i'm very disappointed when i don't see that

if i see that we're too much in a tunnel consciousness, then i'm very disappointed

because i know that you should have broader access, broader range

 

그리고 또한 물론, 나는 우리 모두 사이에서 작용하는 집단 기억에 의한 지지를 받는다

왜냐하면 모두가,

나는 사트상에서 느낀다, 더 넓은 의식에 더욱 조율되어야 한다

그리고 그렇지 않은 것을 볼 때, 나는 아주 실망한다

우리가 너무 터널 의식 안에 있는 것을 내가 본다면, 나는 아주 실망스럽다

왜냐하면 나는, 그대가 더 폭넓은 접근, 더 넓은 범주를 갖고 있다는 것을 알기 때문이다

 

it is something that i just feel really important for everybody to be aware of

that the more you consciously choose to be in the wider consciousness,

and why should you not, because if you localize the consciousness, that localized consciousness will continue to just be  in service only to the person

and who would be foolish enough knowing that you can, your the broader consciousness choose to get funneled off into the narrow personalized consciousness,

who would want to do that

that is the self, is the expression of ignorance

 

모두가 인식하는 것이 아주 중요하다고 내가 느끼는 것이다

그대가 더 의식적으로, 더 넓은 의식에 있는 것을 선택할수록

그리고 왜 아니어야 하겠는가

그대가 의식을 좁게 한다면, 그 좁아진 의식은 계속해서 그냥 제한된 인식에만 기여할 것이다

 

그리고 그대의 더 넓은 의식이 좁은 의식이 되는 것을 선택한다?!

누가 그렇게 어리석겠는가

누가 그렇게 하고 싶겠는가

그것은,  무지 의 표현이다

 

so i feel it to be very very important that each one, you really listen to that

what do you lose, you have everything to gain, cost nothing at all to open up into the wider consciousness, absolutely nothing at all

so this is why sometimes when i feel that any member of the sangha is not tuned in to this more open field,

or is defensive of an egoic position,

is very very painful for me

 

그래서 나는 그것이 아주 아주 중요하다고 느낀다

각자, 그대는 정말로 귀 기울여 들어라

그대가 무엇을 잃는가, 얻는 것 뿐이다

더 넓은 의식에 열리는데 잃을 것이 전혀 없다, 절대적으로 아무것도 전혀

 

이래서 때때로, 내가, 공동체의 어느 구성원이 이 더 열린 장에 조율되어 있지 않을 때,

혹은 에고의 위치에서 방어적일 때,

나로서는 아주 아주 고통스럽다

 

in some way, life gives opportunity for us all to be in the broader consciousness,

so you don't qualify yourself to be really in such an opportunity

i really mean that, in fact

 

어느 면에서, 삶은 우리 모두에게 더 넓은 의식에 있을 수 있는 기회를 준 것이다

그대는 그런 기회 안에 정말로 있는 자격을 그대 자신에게 주지 않는다

나는 정말 진심이다, 사실
