'그대는 전체 의식이다, 최고 의식 그 자체이다, 그리고 그것을 잊지 마라, 그것을 숙고해라'

그대의 스승이 그대에게, 그대는 전체 의식이다 라 말한다면

 

왜 스승은 그대에게 그렇게 말했을까, 다른 부가적인 가르침들을 주지 않고

 

그것으로 충분하다

그대가 정신적으로 그것을 믿어서가 아니다

그대에게 스며드는 것이다, 그대의 주의를 완전히 그 안에서 절인다, 그리고 그것이 그 자신의 작업을 하도록 둔다

그대의 제한된 인식이 아니다, 그대의 마음이 작업하는 것이 아니다

 

그렇게 해서 그가 깨어났다

the highest things he had taken from his master,

he said, 'my master told me, you're not what you've been brought up you think you are, you are the universal consciousness, you are the brahman itself'

and what did Maharaj said, 'i believed him because i trusted him and i saw that all that he spoke before,

i had natural trust for him, and that he was trust-worthy, so i accepted his words into my heart,

and whatever time i had sapare time, i'd always contemplate his words inside my heart,

and within the short time of 3 years, i woke to truth of myself'

 

그가 그의 스승에게서 받은 가장 높은 것은

 

그가 말했다,

'나의 스승이 내게 말했다, 그대는 그대가 생각하는, 그대가 자라온 그대가 아니다, 그대는 전체 의식이다, 그대는 최고 의식 그 자체이다'

 

'나는 그를 믿었다, 나는 그를 신뢰했기 때문에

그리고 이전에 그가 말한 모든 것을 보았다,

나는 그를 향한 자연스러운 신뢰가 있다, 그는 신뢰할 수 있다

그래서 나는 그의 말을 나의 가슴 안에 받아들였다

그리고 내게 여유 시간이 있을 때마다, 나는 항상 그의 말을 나의 가슴 안에서 숙고했다

그리고 짧은 3 년 안에, 나는 나 자신의 진리에 깨어났다'

 

after that, quite a few books came about his teachings of Maharaj,

but there was subsequent to his discovery

so i looked at this, i thought, even reading through, 'i am that', which is so widely claimed as a spiritual classic amongst equal standing as any of the gita s actually

diverse and complex through he simplified it, way in which if you really read with your mind, 'wow, this is overwhelming potency and power, the volumn of his knowledge

 

그 이후, 상당한 수의 책이 Maharaj 그의 가르침에 대한 것으로 나왔다

그의 발견 이후

 

'i am that' (나는 그것이다) 는 사실, 기타 (가령 아쉬타바크라 기타) 들 만큼 뛰어난 영적 고전으로 널리 알려져 있다

그가 단순화하긴 했지만, 그대가 그대의 마음으로 읽는다면,

'와 이것은 그의 앎의 압도적인 힘과 크기다' 라 (다양하다, 복잡하다 라 할 수 있다)

 

and what i said, no-, i was going to find his quintessence of his knowledge

so i went back to the point where he says, 'my guru told me, you are not what you believe you are, you've been conditioned to believe, you are the universal consciousness, you are the parabrahman itself, and don't forget that, contemplate that'

that's what he took with him

that became his guru's living words and instructions within himself

he didn't say, 'i had studied this and this and that'

he said, 'whatever time i found available to me, i just contemplate his words, what he said, i didn't do anything'

he said, 'i didn't make any other effort trying anything else-'

i said, my God, then that's all one needs to do

 

나는 아니, 

그의 앎의 본질을 찾을 것이다, 라 했다

 

그래서 그가 말한 핵심으로 돌아갔다

'나의 스승이 내게 말했다, 그대는 그대라 믿는 그대가 아니다, 그대가 믿도록 조건 지워진 그대가 아니다

그대는 전체 의식이다, 최고 의식 그 자체이다, 그리고 그것을 잊지 마라, 그것을 숙고해라'

 

그것이 그가 받아들인 것이었다

그것이 그 안에서 스승의 살아있는 말과 가르침이 되었다

그는, '나는 이것, 저것 을 공부했다' 라 말하지 않았다

'내게 시간이 날 때마다, 나는 그냥 그의 말을 숙고한다, 나는 아무것도 하지 않았다'

'나는 다른 어떤 것을 하려는 어떤 노력도 하지 않았다'

 

나는 말했다,

와, 그러면 그것이 해야 하는 전부인 것이다

 

if your master told you, you are the unisersal consciousness,

why would he tell you that, not giving you some secondary instructions?

it's enough

not just you're believeing it mentally, but that's imbibed with you, marinate that your attention fully in that, and let that do its work,

not your person, your mind do the work

and that's how he woke up

 

그대의 스승이 그대에게, 그대는 전체 의식이다 라 말한다면

 

왜 스승은 그대에게 그렇게 말했을까, 다른 부가적인 가르침들을 주지 않고

 

그것으로 충분하다

그대가 정신적으로 그것을 믿어서가 아니다

그대에게 스며드는 것이다, 그대의 주의를 완전히 그 안에서 절인다, 그리고 그것이 그 자신의 작업을 하도록 둔다

그대의 제한된 인식이 아니다, 그대의 마음이 작업하는 것이 아니다

 

그렇게 해서 그가 깨어났다

 

so i put it also that realization, the recognition, the understanding, the recognition of what we are, the self,

is not complex or difficult to grasp

what is difficult to grasp is that the beingness in the form of personhood is very complex

and we're just trying get out of our own complexity

that complexity cannot understand the simplicity directly

it has to practice, practice, listen, follow, contemplate until this outer shell of resistance and impact of limited conditioning gets eroded

and the consciousness, pure consciousness is not created, is not developed, 

is just revealed after the shell that seems to cover it, the shell of ignorance is removed, is dissolved

 

그래서 나 또한

우리인 것, 자신, 을 알아차리는 것은 이해하기에 복잡하거나 어렵지 않다

이해하기 어려운 것은, 제한된 인식의 형상 안에서의 존재가 아주 복잡하다

그리고 우리는 우리 자신의 복잡함에서 벗어나려 한다

복잡함은 단순함을 바로 이해할 수 없다

단련해야 한다,

단련하고, 귀 기울여 듣고, 따르고, 숙고한다

이 저항의 껍질과 제한된 조건화의 영향이 부식될 때까지

 

그리고 의식, 순수 의식은 만들어지지 않는다, 키워지는 것이 아니다

그냥 드러난다, 그것을 덮고 있는 것같아 보이는  껍질, 무지의 껍질이 제거된 이후, 사라진 후
