에고로 존재하는 이 아주 고통스러운 이야기를 끝내기 위해서는

하지만 봐라, 우리가 얼마나 쉽게 빗나갈 수 있는지, 자연스럽게 나빠질 수 있는지

 

그대 원칙의 기준에 달려있다

성공한 나라에 대한 그대의 원칙이, 얼마나 군대가 강한가, 경제가 강한가, 얼마나 빨리 성장할 수 있는가 라면

 

게다가 그 모든 단계들의 인간들의 투자들,

사육, 착취, 탐욕, 두려움, 가난, 병, 전쟁, 이런 모든 것이 한 가지에 근거한다

그것이 무엇인지 말해줄 수 있는 이 있을까

 

제한된 인식에의 동일시

look at that, you turn things around

because in the end, ultimately it's not good to curse the mind

at first, you have to be aware of him, because he's slippery snake

but also you forget that he's also in you and you're also the slippery snake

마음 또한 신이, 이 드러나 보이는 삶의 여행을 위해 내게 준 도구이다

그러한 것을 본다,

그대는 전환한다

왜냐하면 결국, 궁극적으로 마음을 저주하는 것은 좋은 것이 아니다

처음에는 그대가 그를 경계해야 한다, 그는 미끄러지는 뱀 이므로

하지만 그는 그대 안에 또한 있고, 그대 또한 미끌거리는 뱀이라는 것을 잊는다

그러면 바로 그대가 보게 된다

이러한 것은 아주 강력한 나눔이다, 이런 나눔은 제한된 인식의 이야기에 제한되지 않기 때문이다

아주 풍요롭다, 전체적이다, 내가 좋아하는 것이다

그래서 모두가 이로움을 얻을 수 있다

진실한 사트상은 모두를 위한 영적 피크닉이다

모두가 온다, 그리고 그곳에 그대를 위한 것이 있다

 

우리가 나누고 있는 것은 놀라운 것이다

그대가 신경써서 나눈다는 것은 멋지다

공동체를 격려한다

 

don't share, some people might share to show off their knowledge

no, share because it's time to share and we need that from each one, how the sangha uplift each other,

both individually and collectively, we're doing

그들의 앎을 과시하기 위해 나누는 이들이 있을 수 있다

아니다, 나누어야 할 때라서 나눠라

그리고 우리는 서로에게서 그런 것을 필요로 한다

공동체가 서로를 들어올리는 것이다

개인적으로, 그리고 집단적으로, 둘 다

아주 좋다

 

why would i want to sit and plan a satsang

because when it comes out in this very natural spontaneous way, it's got everything, multi-vitamin

 

왜 내가 앉아서 사트상을 짜고 싶어하겠는가

이렇게 아주 자연스럽게, 즉시적으로 나올 때, 그것은 모든 것을 갖고 있다, 온갖 비타민이다

one of challenges, i guess and sometimes we don't realize the challenge, how easy there's to drift, of course

seems like we're just so habituated, conditioned to, 

human conditioning

it's not a mistake made by a few people, it's like whole humanity, lives in the soup of personhood

everyone, that is the common universal language on this planet

everybody has their own dreams, their own ways-

all of these are manifestation of when consciousness expresses as the being or something

and then further more to, so far into unquestioned individuality, separation, ego

 

내가 생각하기로는, 어려움 중 하나가

그리고 우리는 그 어려움을 알아차리지 못하는 때가 있다

 

얼마나 쉽게 떠다니는지 이다

아주 쉽다, 여기 (사하자 공동체) 에서조차 그렇다

우리가 그냥 그렇게 습관이 된 것 같다

인간의 조건화

 

몇 사람에 의해 만들어진 실수가 아니다, 온 인류가 제한된 인식의 수프속에서 살고 있는 것 같다

모두가,

그것이 이 행성에서 공통 언어다

모두가 그들 자신의 꿈을 갖고 있다, 그들 자신의 방식을 갖고 있다---------

이런 모든 것들은, 의식이 존재나 무언가로서 표현할 때 나타나는 것이다

그런 다음 더 나아가, 개인성, 분리, 에고 로 들어서고, 질문이 제기되지 않는다

 

i will say, it's common language, language because when we interrelate, even if we speak different languages, if we can cross over the differences in language, undertone is same

if you could draw line, and say 'what is the denominator?'

of course, the sense of personhood and egoic identity is more strong in some places

in some places, there's a kind of common community, unity where they think for their community, everybody contribut to the community and the sense of individual wealth is very weak

that's very rare though

 

나는 그러한 것을 공통 언어라 말하겠다

언어라고 하는 것은, 우리가 상호연결할 때

우리가 서로 다른 언어를 말하더라도, 언어상 차이를 지나갈 수 있다면, 저의는 같다

 

그대가 선을 긋고, '공통성이 무엇인가' 라 한다면

물론, 제한된 인식의 느낌과 에고 동일시,

어떤 곳에서는 더 강하다

 

어떤 곳에서는, 그들의 공동체를 위해 생각하고, 모두가 그 공동체에 기여하며, 개인이 갖는 부의 느낌은 아주 약한 공동체, 통합 과 같은 것이 있다

그러한 것은 아주 드물기는 하다

 

actually personal ego itself is a kind of personification of materialism,

like taking material to be yourself rather than the instrument, is taking to be the bad luck of who we are

 

사실 제한된 인식의 에고 그 자체가 물질주의의 의인화와 같은 것이다

물질을 도구로 보다는 그대 자신으로 받아들이는

우리인 것의 불운으로 받아들이기 보다는

 

we are not used to talking like that

we say materialism means, want money, want power-

we measure others by that, we see extremes of it also

it's enough that you're called british, you're call canadian-, it's enough of division, 

but to even go to subdivided further to where people care little about if you don't have some social position, you don't have money, you don't have a job, it's like you don't count

 

우리는 그렇게 말하지는 않는다

우리가 말하는 물질주의란, 돈을 원한다, 권력을 원한다------,

다른 이들을 그러한 것에 따라 평가한다

그런 극단을 보기도 한다

 

그대가 영국인이라 불리는 것, 캐나다인이라 불리는 것-----이 충분히 물질주의다

충분히 분리한 것이다

하지만 더 나뉘어지는 것으로 나아간다, 

그대가 뭔가 사회적 위치를 갖고 있지 않고, 돈이 없고, 직업이 없으면, 사람들이 거의 보살피지 않는다, 

그대는 제외된다

 

this is very spontaneous conversation we're talking about 

but i see how easy we can deviate, naturally deteriorate

but it depends on what is standard of your principals

if your principal of what a successful nation is, how strong your millitary is, how strong your economics are. how fast you can develop,

and alongside that all the levels of human investments, breeds, exploitation and greeds and fear, poverty, sickness, war, all of this is based on one thing,

can anybody telll me what that is?
