내가 경험하는 것은, 생각, 감각, 인식들

하지만 그대는 나의 생각, 감각, 인식들 아무것도 경험하지 않는다

하지만 그대는 이 생각하고, 느끼고, 인식하는 꾸러미를 바라본다, 나의 육체를 본다

 

나의 육체란, 

이 생각하고, 느끼고, 인식하는 꾸러미가 그대의 제한된 시각에서 보이는 것이다

그래서 이 생각하고 느끼고, 인식하는 꾸러미가 끝날 때,

의식으로 도로 확장된다,

그 활동에 상응하는 이미지가 사라진다, 끝난다

the idea that consciousness leave you, presumes that you exist as a physical body,

and that consciousness is located inside you

 

어떤 의식도 그대를 떠나지 않는다

의식이 그대를 떠난다는 생각은, 그대가 육체로 존재한다고 추정하는 것이다,

그리고 의식이 그대 안에 있다고

 

when jane dies on the streets of paris, mary's mind doesn't suddenly leave her

mary's mind remain exactly as it always is

but it ceases to localize itself in the form of jane

so what appears to be the death of jane, is in fact simply the unlocalizing of mary's mind

mary ceases localizing herself as jane,

in the dream that appears as the death of jane

in reality, just mary ceases to localize herself as jane's mind, but nothing happens to mary,

she doesn't die, she doesn't change

제인이 파리의 거리에서 죽을 때, 메리의 마음이 갑자기 그녀를 떠난 것이 아니다

you could say as concession to the belief in the existence of independent physical body,

you could say, the physical body leaves you

yeah in other words, jane's body leaves mary's mind

when jane dies, imagine that the dream were to continue,

jane's body leaves mary's mind, but mary's mind remains

in fact, jane's body doesn't leave mary's mind because there's nothing outside, it cannot go outside of mary's mind

it just reverts to, mary's mind cease localizing, just goes back to mary's mind

 

독립적인 육체의 존재를 믿는다 하자, 육체가 그대를 떠난다 라 할 수도 있겠다

다른 말로 하면, 제인의 몸이 메리의 마음을 떠난다

제인이 죽을 때, 꿈이 계속된다고 상상하자,

제인의 몸이 메리의 마음을 떠난다, 하지만 메리의 마음은 남아있다

 

사실, 제인의 몸은 메리의 마음을 떠나지 않는다,

밖에 있는 것은 없기 때문이다, 메리의 마음 밖으로 나갈 수 없다

단지 되돌아간다, 메리의 마음은 제한되는 것을 그만두고, 메리의 마음으로 돌아가는 것 뿐이다

 

from your perspective, localization of consciousness is experienced as your internal experiences, thoughts, feelings, sensations,

but when i look at this localizationg of consciousness, i don't see sensations, thoughts, perceptions,

i see a physical body

 

그대의 관점에서,

의식이 제한되는 것은, 그대 내면의 경험들, 생각, 느낌, 감각들로 경험된다

하지만 내가 이 의식의 제한을 바라볼 때, 감각, 생각, 인식은 나에게는 보이지 않는다

나는 육체를 본다

 

for me, i'm not seeing my physical body

what i am experiencing, thoughts, sensations, perceptions,

but none of you are experiencing my thoughts, sensations, perceptions

but you look at this bundle of thinking, sensing, perceiving, you see my physical body

my physical body is what this bundle of thinking, sensing, perceiving looks like from your localized perspective

so when this bundle of thinking, sensing, perceiving comes to an end,

expand back into consicousness,

the corresponding image of that activity dissolves, dies
