'나에게는 탄생이 없다, 죽음이 없다, 의무가 없다 나는 어떤 것도 한 적이 없다, 좋은 것이든, 나쁜 것이든'

현자는, 그는 모든 생명 있는 존재들을 대신해 말한다,

의식이 그 자신의 근원을 알아차릴 수 있는 역량을 갖는 인간 왕국에서는 물론

 

이것은 마음에 잡힐 수 있는 하나의 생각으로 들을 것이 아니다

he's saying,

 

'you do not possess intelligence, nor do you possess ignorance, nor do you possess mixture of these two,

you are yourself, pure intelligence'

 

그가 말한다,

 

'그대는 지성을 지니고 있지 않다, 무지도 지니고 있지 않다, 이들 둘이 섞인 것도 지니고 있지 않다

그대는 그대 자신, 순수한 지성이다'

 

you are yourself, pure intelligence, not just a possesser of intelligence

 

그대는 그대 자신, 순수한 지성이다, 단지 지성을 소유하고 있는 자가 아니라

 

'and intelligence that never ceases, never deviates'

 

'그리고 지성은 결코 사라지지 않는다, 엇나가지 않는다'

 

sage is saying,

and when he says i, he speaks on behalf of all beings, truth of all beings

he's speaking of the eseence, of the truth of our self, the truth of all beings

 

현자는 말한다,

그가 나 라고 할 때, 그는 모든 존재들을 대신해서, 모든 존재들의 진리를 말한다

그는 본질에 대해, 우리 자신 의 진리, 모든 존재들의 진리에 대해 말한다

 

'i have no birth, no death, no duties

i've never done anything at all either good or bad'

 

'나에게는 탄생이 없다, 죽음이 없다, 의무가 없다

나는 어떤 것도 한 적이 없다, 좋은 것이든, 나쁜 것이든'

 

 

''surely is not me, i've done a lot of mess and a few good things'',

 

''확실히 나는 아니다, 나는 많이 저질렀는데, 그리고 좋은 것들은 몇 가지 하고''

 

what is he speaking about?

your personality? ego?

 

그는 무엇에 대해 말하고 있는가

그대의 제한된 인식? 에고?

 

'i have no birth, no death, no duties

i've never done anything at all either good or bad'

 

'나에게는 탄생이 없다, 죽음이 없다, 의무가 없다

나는 어떤 것도 한 적이 없다, 좋은 것이든 나쁜 것이든'

 

'i'm purely brahman'

means, totally absolute

 

'나는 순수하게 최고 의식이다'

 

완전히 절대 라는 뜻이다

 

'i'm purely brahmana beyond all qualities

how could a bondage or liberation exist for me?'

 

'나는 순수하게 최고 의식이다, 모든 특질을 넘어선

나에게 어떻게 구속이나 해방이 존재할 수 있겠는가'

 

this is why i say, hear these words as though they are emanating out of your own being, not even through your mouth

no, it will not be enough, just to hear them

but hearing them in the heart that is totally open, makes wave or deepening

 

이래서 내가 말하는 것이다, 이 말들을, 그것들이 그대 자신의 존재에서 나오는 것처럼 들어라,

그대의 입을 통해서 나오는 것이 아니라

 

아니다, 그것으로 충분하지 않을 것이다, 단지 이 말들을 듣는 것으로는

하지만 완전히 열려 있는 가슴에서 듣는 것은, 파장을 만들거나 깊어지게 한다

 

many people come to satsang, they've heard things like this over and over

very intelligent people have come who are able to grasp things like this (손가락 한 번 튕김), much faster than we

so it's not that they're not smart enough

you may hear the words, you may say,

 

많은 사람들이 사트상에 온다, 그들은 이와 같은 것들을 되풀이해서 들었다,

아주 지적인 사람들은 손가락 한 번 튕기듯 이해할 수 있다, 우리보다 훨씬 더 빠르게

그러니 충분히 명리하지 않은 것이 문제가 아니다

그대는 말을 들을 수 있다, 그대가 말할 수도 있다,

 

'that's about me?' yes, you before you

if you give it to your mind, you will not realize

again i say, he speaks on behalf of all sentient beings, certainly in the human kingdom where the consciousness has the capacity to realize its own source

but it is easy to feel, 'but i'm not there yet'

and honestly yes, you may feel like this

 

'그것이 나에 대한 것인가', 그렇다, 그대 이전의 그대

그대가 그것을 그대의 마음에 내준다면, 그대는 알아차리지 못할 것이다

다시 나는 말한다, 그는 모든 생명 있는 존재들을 대신해 말한다,

의식이 그 자신의 근원을 알아차릴 수 있는 역량을 갖는 인간 왕국에서는 물론

 

하지만 '나는 아직 그곳에 이르지 않았는데' 로 느끼기 쉽다

그리고 정직하게 그렇다, 그대는 이렇게 느낄 것이다

 

where yet?

- my mind does not reach that level of transcend or assimilation yet

and here is where?

the mystery will begin to unfold, the mind cannot grasp it, not through logic or effort

if your mind cannot grasp something, then where would the evidence be?

well, let's start in the place where the mind itself is grasped

mind itself, the form of thought, feeling, sensation, sense of time, change, is perceived naturally in everyone

and you may extend this room to be whole world

 

아직 어디에?

- 나의 마음은 그런 정도의 변형 혹은 흡수에 아직 닿지 못한다

그러면 여기 는 어디?

 

신비가 펼쳐지기 시작할 것이다, 마음은 이해할 수 없다, 논리나 노력으로는 안 된다

그대의 마음이 무언가 이해할 수 없다면, 그러면 증거는 어디에 있을까

마음 그 자체가 잡히는 자리에서 시작하자

마음 그 자체, 생각, 느낌, 감각의 형상, 시간, 변화의 느낌 은 자연스럽게 인식된다, 모두 안에서

그리고 그대는 이 방을 온 세상으로 확장할 수 있을 것이다

 

all that arises within you in the mind and the body,

you must be here first in order to perceive them

even if something were to happen in a million of second, to perceive them, you're already here,

beyond movement to perceive even the subtlest movement

 

그대 안에서 마음과 몸으로 떠오르는 모든 것,

그것들을 인식하기 위해서는, 그대가 먼저 여기에 있어야 한다

무언가가 아주 잠깐만에 일어날 것이라 해도, 그것들을 인식하는데, 그대가 이미 여기에 있다

움직임을 벗어나, 가장 미묘한 움직임이라 해도

 

a sage is so empty of personal identity that they become like a perfect mirror

and only in this perfect emptiness is relfected the mistakes we take to be true

so no one can create the truth

truth and awareness, pure being, pure consciousness are one

beyond form

as i said, form appear, arise, disappear, come and go, every sensations is just tourist,

who can deny?

even this body in a way is changing right in the midst of your awareness

 

현자는 제한된 동일시에서 너무나 비어있어서, 그들은 완벽한 거울처럼 된다

그리고 오로지 이 완벽한 비어있음에 우리가 사실이라 받아들이는 실수들이 비추어진다

그러니 아무도 진리를 만들어낼 수 없다

진리와 각성, 순수한 존재, 순수한 의식은 하나다

형상을 넘어서 있다

 

내가 말한 것처럼, 형상은 나타나 보인다, 일어난다, 사라진다, 오고 간다,

모든 감각이 그저 여행객일 뿐이다,

누가 부인할 수 있을까

이 몸조차 어느 면에서 변하고 있다, 그대의 각성 중에

 

but very few seem to be able to confirm that out of all things that are perceived, this one thing which is not a thing, is not subject to time and change,

so therefore that alone is eternal and timeless

you have heard God, truth is timeless, can never die

that truth is the essence of our self

this is not to be heard as an idea to be captive in the mind

 

하지만 인식되는 모든 것들을 벗어나, 이 하나의 -것 아닌 것은 시간과 변화에 따라 변하지 않는다고 확인할 수 있는 자는 아주 드문 것 같다

그것만이 영원하고 시간이 존재하지 않는다

그대는 신, 진리는 시간이 존재하지 않고, 결코 죽을 수 없다고 들었다

진리는 우리 자신의 본질이다

이것은 마음에 잡힐 수 있는 하나의 생각으로 들을 것이 아니다

 

in satsang, we're here in sahaja's existence is for that to serve that awakening and that realization

that may seem far far away from us because of the culture of personal identity

and by listening and reflecting and being guided, one comes naturally to realize, 'but i cannot not be this'

everything else, i may appear temporarily, but that temporary movement of things are perceived in something that is beyond temporary

 

우리는 여기에 있다, 사하자란 존재는 그 깨어남에 기여하기 위해 있다

문화와 제한된 동일시 때문에 우리에게서 멀리 멀리 있는 것처럼 보이는 것에

그리고 듣고, 비추어 보고, 안내되는 것으로, 자연스럽게 '나는 이것이 아닐 수 없구나' 라 알아차리게 된다

그 밖에 모든 것이 일시적으로 나타나 보일 수 있다,

하지만 일시적인 움직임은, 일시적인 것을 벗어나 있는 무언가 안에서 인식된다
