어떻든, 은혜로움이......가장 단순한 식으로도, 그대를 근원으로 이끈다

 

it is said that even the great king who bows down to nobody frustrates at the feet of an illiterate sage,

illiterate sage means what? he doesn't know anything, not studied, not a learnt man, not a scholar,

he simply know who he is,

if the king frustrate at the feet of illiterate sage, he must be at least wise enough to know

or to somehow feel the vibration of such a being

that he is compelled even beyond his mind's will, 

he's compelled to go there,

so it's not that you don't need necessarily university degree to understand these things,

they are so simply, why?

because it is what you are already,

you're not going to make yourself into what you are,

you can make yourself into what you are not

 

아무에게도 수그리지 않는 위대한 왕이라도, 글을 모르는 현자의 발 아래 엎드린다 고 한다,

글을 모르는 현자란 무슨 뜻인가, 그는 아무것도 모른다, 공부하지 않았다, 배운 사람이 아니다, 학자가 아니다,

그는 단지, 그가 누구인지를 알 뿐이다

 

왕이 글을 모르는 현자의 발 아래 엎드린다면, 그는 최소한 충분히 아는 것이다,

어떻게든 그런 존재의 진동을 느끼는 것이다

그의 마음의 의지를 벗어나 꿇게 된다

그렇게 하도록 된다

 

그러니 이러한 것들을 이해하기 위해, 그대에게 대학 학위가 필요한 것은 아니다

아주 단순한 것들이다, 왜?

이미 그대인 것이기 때문이다

그대는 그대 자신을 그대인 것으로 만들지 않을 것이다

그대는 그대가 아닌 것으로 만들 수는 있다

well, we can say, the unconditioned consciousness is conversing with the conditioned consciousness in the play called life or something,

then gradually the conditioned consciousness gives up it or transcends its conditioning

and return to its natural state,

it's one way, i don't know if that satisfy you

 

조건화되지 않은 의식이 조건화된 의식과 삶이나 뭔가로 불리는 놀이에서 대화를 하고 있다 할 수도 있겠다

그 다음 점차, 조건화된 의식은 자신을 포기하거나, 조건화를 변형시키고,

그것의 자연스러운 상태로 돌아간다

 

이것이 답할 수 있는 한 가지 방식이다, 그대를 만족시키는지 모르겠다

 

all concepts, all words, all thoughts, they're emanating from that source of consciousness,

it's not lying in some place beyond the field of mind like some physical way,

just in terms of subtlety, it is subtler than that,

but it's also able to comprehend that

이것이 아주 깊은 질문처럼 보일 수도 있다,

하지만 그대는 그대의 마음으로 깊이 들어가야 한다며, 결국에는 쓸모없는 답을 발견할 수도 있다

 

who am i who is aware of the mind?

this is more intimate, this is more ready,

you don't have to go away to study to find that what is it that watches the mind,

and don't just accept a mental answer,

such a question makes for revelation,

some deep profound intuitive seeing,

then when it arises in you as clarity, it wipes away these kind of questions

 

마음을 인식하는 나는 누구인가

이것이 보다 가깝다, 이것이 보다 준비된 것이다

마음을 바라보는 것이 무엇인지를 찾기 위해, 그대는 멀리 가서 공부해야 하는 것이 아니다

단지 정신적인 답을 받아들이지 마라

 

드러내는 질문이 있다

깊고 심오한, 직관적 바라봄,

그 다음 명확성으로 그대 안에서 떠오를 때, 그것은 이런 종류의 질문들을 치운다
