그대가 잊는 것을 인식한다는 것을 잊는다

우리 모두가 같은 단계에 있지는 않다

그대가 영적으로 성숙할수록, 그대의 모양없음을 견딜 수 있는 것을 발견한다

 

내가 이전에 말한 적 있다

그대가 비어있음을 견딜 수 있을 때, 비어있을 수 있을 때, 그대는 자유다

 

우리는 항상 어떤 모양을 붙들고 있다, 그리고 모든 모양이 제한이다

하지만 신이 모든 모양 또한 만들었다

그리고 한 때 무언가 그대에게 모양으로서 아주 소중한 것이,

그대가 자라자, 덜 중요한 것이 되었다, 결국 그것들을 내던질 수 있기까지 했다

 

어느 때인가는 하나를 얻기 위해, 그대가 많은 노력, 많은 돈, 많은 갈등을 들인다

그리고 얼마 지나, 그것은 그대에게 가치를 잃는다

그 가치는 그것 자체에 있지 않았기 때문이다, 가치는 그대의 마음에 있었다

그리고 그대가 성장할수록, 더 성숙해질수록, 그것을 내던질 수 있었다

 

언젠가 그대는, 온 세상을 내던질 수 있을 것이다

그대는 그대가 최고로 완결되어 있다는 것을 발견한다

even the doubts and the belief, you're aware of them

everything that is perceivable, is arising on the screen of consciousness in the field of awareness, you're aware of everything

you're discovering this more and more

it's not enough clear yet but it's getting clearer and clearer

actually you're none of these things absolutely

we're none of these things actually, but becasue we seem to have had a long relatinship with them,

and have that sensation and feeling that you don't know any different or you don't know more

because you feel in the world of personhood, you learn about things, people, places, things and ideas

but when you're discovering yourself, yourself is not a thing

it is the place, the root, the source from there all things appear inside you

 

의심조차, 그리고 믿음도,

그대가 인식한다

 

인식가능한 모든 것이, 의식의 화면 위에 떠오른다, 각성의 장 안에서,

그대는 모든 것을 인식한다

그대는 이것을 점점 더 발견하고 있다

아직 명확하지는 않다, 하지만 점점 명확해지고 있다

사실 그대는 절대적으로, 이것들 중 어떤 것도 아니다

우리는 사실 이런 것들 중 어떤 것도 아니다

하지만 우리가 그것들과 오랜 관계를 가져왔기 때문에,

그리고 그대가 다른 것은 모른다거나 더는 모른다는 느낌을 갖고 있기 때문에

 

왜냐하면 그대는, 제한된 인식의 세상에서, -것들에 대해 배운다, 사람들, 장소들, 것들, 생각들

하지만 그대가 그대 자신을 발견할 때, 그대 자신은 -것 이 아니다

그것은 자리, 뿌리, 근원으로, 그곳에서 모든 것들이 나타난다, 그대 안에서

 

you say, 'when i am awareness', but actually you're always awareness

it's just not remembering that you are the awareness

you forget somhow, so forgetfulness happens in awareness

and you forget that you are aware of forgetting

is very subtle, you're maybe going to listen to this again

 

그대는 말한다, '내가 각성일 때',

하지만 사실 그대는 항상 각성이다

단지 그대가 각성이라는 것을 기억하지 못할 뿐이다

어떻든 그대는 잊는다, 잊음 이 각성 안에서 일어난다

그리고 그대가 잊는 것을 인식한다는 것을 잊는다

아주 미묘하다, 이것을 다시 들어야 할 수도 있을 것이다

 

that even the feeling of confusion or 'oh, i forget that i'm awareness',

gradually you're going to see that even remembering and forgetting is perceived in awareness

this is a very subtle point, many people will miss it

 

혼동의 느낌조차, 혹은 '아 나는 내가 각성이라는 것을 잊는다' 라고 하는 것도

점차 그대가 보게 된다, 

기억하는 것도 잊는 것도 각성 안에서 인식된다

이것은 아주 미묘한 가리킴이다, 많은 사람들이 놓칠 것이다

 

as you continue earnestly follow the pointings,

not just up there (머리), but just spend time to listen deeply to what you are hearing

you don't have to listen to many many things unless you have the capacity to take a lot of things at once

but some people, even if you find one thing that has been said, that really resonate with you,

you can put your attention on that for a while, and it will keep opening and expanding in terms your awareness will grow

this is not university

this is universal but not university

it's not that you have to learn so many things, study so many things, this is my good news for you also

 

그대가 계속해서 진지하게 가리킴들을 따라갈수록

단지 머리에서가 아니라, 

그저 시간을, 그대가 듣는 것에 깊이 귀 기울이는 것에 들인다

많고 많은 것들을 들어야 할 필요 없다

그대가 한 번에 많은 것들을 받아들일 수 있는 역량을 갖고 있지 않다면

 

하지만 어떤 사람들은, 들은 것 한 가지, 그대에게 정말 울리는 것을 발견한다,

잠시 그것에 주의를 준다, 그리고 그것이, 계속해서 열어주고 확장한다, 그대의 각성이 성장할 것이다

 

이것은 대학이 아니다

전체의 것이다

그대가 아주 많은 것들을 배워야 하는 것이 아니다, 아주 많은 것들을 공부해야 하는 것이 아니다

이것 또한 그대에게 내가 주는 좋은 소식이기도 하다

 

actually the greater the teacher, the simpler the teaching

the greater the discovering, the simpler the pointing

why, because ultimately it's not about words, teaching

teachings are only finger pointing to something which is beyond teachings

it's only to be recognized, that becomes your experience

 

사실 더 위대한 스승일수록, 가르침은 단순하다

더 위대한 발견일수록, 가리킴은 단순하다

왜 인가, 왜냐하면 궁극적으로 말, 가르침에 관한 것이 아니기 때문이다

가르침들은 단지, 가르침을 벗어나 있는 무언가를 손가락으로 가리키고 있을 뿐이다

그것이 알아차려져야 할 뿐이다

그것이 그대의 경험이 된다

every lie, every failure is going to be a teacher for you

you come to see that actually i had to go through much of these things, not everything

becasue many things you have gone through already, you don't know that

many things throughout the journey of your soul, you've gone through already

now you have a portion of things you must look at

and if you see them properly, you may not have to go through much more again

this is where i am coming in with you

you have something that this life has brought you that you must be aware of them,

they're not meant to be on top of your head

don't go up in your head, stay in your heart, watch from place know that everything that you see, hear, touch, feel, sense or imagine, they're just illusory,

you don't have to hold on to any of these things

 

모든 거짓, 모든 실패가 그대의 스승이 될 것이다

사실 나는 이런 많은 것들을 겪어야 했다 라는 것을 보게 된다

모든 것을 겪어야 하는 것은 아니다

 

많은 것들을 그대는 이미 겪어왔다, 그대는 그것을 모른다

그대 영혼의 여정 내내 많은 것들을, 그대는 이미 겪었다

지금 그대는, 그대가 바라봐야 하는 것들의 일부를 본다

그대가 그것들을 제대로 본다면, 다시 더 많은 것들을 겪어야 할 필요 없을 수도 있다

여기에서 내가 그대에게 들어서는 곳이다

그대는 이번 삶이 그대에게 가져온 무언가를 갖고 있다, 그대는 그것들을 인식해야 한다

그것들은 그대의 머리 꼭대기에 있기로 되어 있는 것이 아니다

 

머리로 올라가지 마라, 그대의 가슴에 머물러라

그 자리에서, 그대가 보고 듣고 닿고 느끼고 감지하거나 상상하는 모든 것, 그것들이 그저 환영일 뿐임을 알아라

그대는 이런 것들 중 어떤 것도 붙들 필요 없다

 

don't reject them cynically, but don't combine yourself with anything

and you'll see that you come to a place, of kind of emptiness inside you

and automatically, you'll begin to recognize you're in the presence of God

you're not going to meet God in noisy place within yourself, noisy place is more mind

when we say meet God, i mean like you're becoming singular

when i say God, don't think of God as some shape, as some particular entity

because God is so amazing, is everything, nothing can exist, not one atom exist without what i call the God

supreme awareness self, it's all the same one

we just know and call it different names because we have different temperaments, different educations-

but you're going to go beyond all these things

and find this place within you that has no shape, and you see that actually, it is not different from what you are

we have been so accustomed to identifying with shape, shape of this body, shape of your education, the shape of your conditioning or whatevr we call

it's ok for a while

 

그것들을 냉소적으로 거부하지 마라, 하지만 그대 자신을 어떤 것과도 결합시키지 마라

그러면 그대는 보게 될 것이다

그대는 그대 안, 비어있음과 같은 곳에 이른다

그리고 자동적으로, 그대가 신의 존재 안에 있다는 것을 알아차리기 시작할 것이다

 

그대 자신 안 소음의 자리에서 신을 만나지는 못할 것이다, 시끄러운 자리는 마음 쪽이다

우리가 신을 만난다 라 할 때, 나는, 그대가 단 하나가 되어간다는 의미이다

내가 신 이라 할 때, 신을 어떤 모양으로, 어떤 특정한 존재로 생각하지 마라

신은 너무나 놀랍다, 모든 것이다

아무것도, 하나의 원자도, 내가 신 이라 하는 것 없이 존재할 수 없다

최상의 각성 자신,

그것 모두 같은 하나이다

 

우리는 그냥 다른 이름들을 알고, 다른 이름들로 부른다

서로 다른 기질, 다른 교육을 받으므로

하지만 그대는 이런 모든 것들을 넘어서 갈 것이다

그리고 그대 안의 이 자리는 모양이 없음을 발견한다

그리고 사실, 그것은 그대인 것과 다르지 않은 것을 본다

 

우리는 모양과 동일시하는데 너무 익숙해 있다, 이 몸의 모양, 그대 교육의 모양, 조건화의 모양, 우리가 붙이는 무엇이든

 

그러한 것은 괜찮다, 잠시

 

we're not all at the same stage

as you mature spiritually, you find you can bear your shapelessness

i've said before, when you can bear and be the emptiness, you're free

always we're holding onto some shape and every shape is a limitation

but God made all shape also

and one time something's very precious for you as a shape, but as you grew, they became less important, eventually give them away even

some time you spend a lot of effort, a lot of money, a lot of struggle to get one thing,

and after a while, it loses value for you because it never had value in itself, the value was in your mind

and as you grew, became more mature, you could give it away

one day, you could give the whole world away

you find you're supremely complete

 

우리 모두가 같은 단계에 있지는 않다
