생각 없이, 무엇이 마음인가

you are discovering your formlessness

at an earliest time, it would not be sustainable, you could not sustain it

the energy inside operating on a personal dimension would be directly resistant to this kind of seeing

but as you have persisted and can verify that no harm is done by this

that you see that somehow there's more like an expansion of being

and the dense contractions of personhood are not so potent anymore

they are dissolveing in the light, i would call it the light or the grace of that seeing

 

그대는 그대의 형상 없음을 발견해가고 있다

이전에는 그것을 버틸 수 없었을 것이다

제한된 인식의 차원에서 작용하는 에너지는, 이런 바라봄에 바로 저항한다

하지만 그대는 끈기 있게 해 왔다, 그리고 이것으로 어떤 해로움도 가해지지 않는다는 것을 입증할 수 있다

그대는 본다, 보다는 어떻든 존재의 확장 같은 것이 있다

그리고 제한된 인식의 고밀도 수축이 더는 그렇게 힘 있지 않다

그것들이 빛 안에서 사라지고 있다, 나는 그것을 빛 혹은 바라봄의 은혜로움이라 할 것이다

 

if you could speak from the position of consciousness,

meaning don't get into any shape of a person

now i may ask you, what is the job of consciousness? what does it have to fix? just from the space of being

 

그대가 의식의 위치에서 말할 수 있다면

즉, 제한된 인식의 어떤 모양으로도 들어서지 않는다면

이제 내가 그대에게 묻겠다, 

의식의 일이 무엇인가, 그것이 무엇을 고쳐야 하는가, 그냥 존재의 공간에서

 

from the observing place, what reading is there of you, if any

 

바라보는 자리에서, 그대에 대해 무슨 해석이 있는가, 있다면

 

'nothing'

 

'아무 것도 없다'

 

nothing, is that a shock to the system?

 

아무 것도 없다, 그것이 시스템에 충격인가

 

do you have any system?

to have a shock to the system?

 

그대에게 어떤 시스템이라도 있는가

충격을 받을 시스템

 

are we walking on a dangeous territory?

 

우리는 위험한 영역을 걷고 있는가

 

'no'

 

'아니다'

 

now you're speaking the truth

the truth is not merely some sacred cluster of holy concepts

earler than the shape of any concept, concept free

your very beingness, it is the very root of your being

don't put any image, no image necessary for this

 

이제 그대는 진리를 말하고 있다

진리 는 단지 신성한 개념들의 신성한 덩어리가 아니다

어느 개념의 모양보다 이전에, 개념에서 자유롭게

바로 그대의 존재함

그것은 그대 존재의 근거이다

어떤 이미지도 두지 마라, 이것에 이미지는 필요 없다

 

it's uncreated, nobody can do anything for it

it cannot be flattered

 

그것은 만들어진 것이 아니다, 아무도 그것에 대해 어떤 것도 할 수 없다

그것은 찬사 받을 수 있는 것이 아니다

 

without thought, what is mind?

 

생각 없이, 무엇이 마음인가

 

'some heaviness'

 

'뭔가 무거움이 있다'

 

let any heaviness be there, even invite a bit more heaviness but you stay as you are, as only the witness, the formless witness

just don't push heaviness away, it is only a sensation

some clouds appear in the sky, and some clouds move very quickly and some move very slowly

some clouds can be there for almost of the day

but it's still traffic

don't worry

let heaviness be just sensation there as long as it needs to be there

don't give it a measurement

you are simply aware, you're the awareness itself

awareness doesn't have to be always aware of some phenomenon

then i say, you are self aware

and there's no form there's no shape to that self awareness

 

어떤 무거움이든 있게 두어라, 좀 더 초대하기도 해라,

하지만 그대는 그대인 대로 머물러라, 바라봄으로서만, 형상 없는 바라봄으로

무거움을 밀어내려 하지 마라, 감각일 뿐이다

하늘에 구름들이 나타난다, 그리고 어떤 구름은 아주 빠르게 가고, 어떤 구름은 아주 느리게 움직인다

거의 하루를 있는 구름도 있을 수 있다

하지만 그럼에도 오고 가는 것이다

걱정하지 마라

무거움이 있도록 두어라, 그냥 감각이다, 그것이 있는 것이 필요한 만큼

그것에 어떤 평가를 내주지 마라

그대는 단순히 인식한다, 그대는 각성 그 자체이다

각성은 어떤 현상을 항상 인식해야 할 필요 없다

그러면 내가 말한다, 그대는 자각한다

그리고 자각에는 형상이 없다, 모양이 없다

 

what is sustaining this?

is anything sustaining awareness?

 

무엇이 이것을 지탱하고 있는가

어떤 것이 각성을 지탱하고 있는가

 

'nothing'

 

'아무것도'

 

this is why i say sometimes, try to be not aware

it is not something given by effort

effort was only to redirect the attention away from the traffic of sensations and identity

when that is observable, and you become aware of that all these things are observable

from a place which itself is not observable phenomenally, but is intuitively known

so not known conceptually, just known

 

이래서 때로는 내가 말하는 것이다, 인식하지 않으려 해 봐라 라고

노력에 의해 주어지는 것이 아니다

노력은 감각과 동일시로부터 주의를 다시 돌리기 위함일 뿐이다

그것이 바라볼 수 있는 것일 때

그리고 그대는 이런 모든 것들이 바라보아질 수 있는 것이라는 것을 인식하게 된다

그 자신은 현상적으로 바라보아질 수 없는 자리에서

하지만 직관적으로 알려진다

그래서 개념적으로 알려지지 않는다, 그냥 알려진다
