and let whatever it is roll, maybe the momentum of conditioning over many many years or lifetimes, comes a bit this way or that way,

있는 것 은 무엇처럼 생겼는가

동사인가, 명사인가

움직임인가

우리는 충분히 허용한 적 있는가, 혹은 마음은 항상 다음 자세나 다음 것에 이르려하지 않는가

그렇다, 그건 그럴 것이다, 나는 그대에게 야생마처럼 마음을 통제하라 말하지 않는다

바라봐라

 

우리가 마음, 그리고 존재라 부르는 움직임을 바라볼 수 있는가,

이 모든 것을, 우리는 그냥 이처럼 인식한다, 개입되지 않고,

그것이 이미 첫번째 시험이므로

그리고 그것이 무엇이든 구르게 두어라,

아마도 많은 시간 동안, 혹은 여러 삶 동안의 조건화의 기세가, 좀 이런 식으로 저런 식으로 나타나는 것일 것이다

so there's tendency to read things, to hear thing,

in one way, non-dual pointings can seem 'i got it, so clear for me now'

and we may move in the world like that

and can you get something?, yeah

did you get this? no

 

문제는, 이런 대화를, 우리가 아마 우리 머리 안에서 혼자 아주 자주 할 것이라는 것이다

하지만 나는 그대가 여기에서 나와 함께 바라보기를 원한다

왜냐하면 지력은 아주 교활하다, 영리한 것이다

그래서 뭔가를 읽는다, 듣는다,

어느 면으로 비이원적 가리킴들이, '난 알았다, 이제 내게 아주 명확하다' 와 같을 수 있다

그리고 우리는 그처럼 세상에서 움직여다닐 것이다

그대가 무언가 얻을 수 있는가, 그렇다,

그대가 무언가를 얻었는가, 아니다

 

what it means to get this?

maybe at first we come to a understanding, we want to share,

a natural place, an environment of sangha is for looking, to test our understanding,

but what is the posture of the self?

actually no one can speak about it

but as you go, everything is unfolding and it has become a harmony for you

 

이것을 얻는다는 것이 무슨 뜻인가

아마 처음에는 우리가 이해에 이르러, 나누고 싶을 수 있다,

자연스러운 자리다, 공동체라는 환경은 바라보기 위함이다, 우리의 이해를 시험한다

하지만 자신 의 자세가 무엇인가

 

사실 아무도 그것에 대해 말할 수 없다

하지만 그대가 갈수록, 모든 것이 펼쳐진다, 그리고 그것은 그대에게 조화가 된다

 

before we are moving by the mind, by our own mythology, philosophy, it's not harmony

how will you turn it into harmony?

actually you don't have to turn anything to anything, just stop messing around with it

and let the unfolding happen, the unfolding include also your actions,

but of yourself, the urge to keep talking about yourself in terms of your attributes and so on, that will drop away

something is just one with life, isn't it?

and it's not about what you say

especially if you'll have to talk about it

maybe your words content will reduce a lot

maybe your actions content will reduce a lot, not necessarily

but the force of presence will change

 

그리고 그것은 그대가 말하는 것에 관한 것이 아니다

특히 그대가 그것에 대해 말할 것이라면

아마 그대 말의 내용이 많이 줄어들 것이다

그대 움직임의 내용이 많이 줄어들 것이다, 꼭 그런 것은 아니다

하지만 현존의 힘이 변할 것이다

 

a gyani or sage does not dismiss the world, 'ah it's rubbishi', not like that

they just see its unreality in a certain level,

but doesn't mean that they give up on it

if one who awaken to self, so everything is meaningless, who will be there to pass on this knowledge?

and to who?

 

gyani 나 현자는 세상을 무시하지 않는다, '아, 쓰레기다', 그런 식이 아니다

그들은 그냥 어느 단계에서의 비실재성을 볼 뿐이다

하지만 그들이 포기한다는 뜻이 아니다

자신에 깨어난 자가, 그래서 모든 것이 의미없다고 하면, 누가 이 앎을 전할 것인가

그리고 누구에게?

 

any urge to try, to clarify, yes, please do

but on the way to true and living conversation, many things will fall away

and peace remain, without a peacekeeper

peace does not mean, not speaking

you could be speaking, doesn't matter

 

명확히 하려는 열망은, 그래, 부디 그래라

하지만 진실하고 살아있는 대화로 가는 중에, 많은 것들이 떨어져나갈 것이다

그래서 때로는 전달할 수 없다는 좌절,
