상황에 의존하지 않는 행복이 있는가

 

그대가 돈을 가졌는지 안 가졌는지에 달려 있지 않은 기쁨이 있는가

좋은 관계에 들어서 있는지 아닌지,

그대 자신의 집을 가졌는지 아닌지

 

그대가 갖든 없든, 상관없다

그대는 항상 행복하다, 아무것도 그것을 부술 수 없다

이 행복을 아는 이 이는가

so you even realize that the state of ego or personal identity and its world

is a smaller life

why? it promises so much, why you call it a smaller life?

you must become aware of a greater life

'i wll not invest in the smaller life',

maybe because it's claustrophobic for you

because you become aware of a greater

simple, keep it simple

 

에고 상태나 제한된 의식, 그리고 그것의 세상이

작은 삶이라는 것을 알아차린다

 

왜? 그것은 아주 많은 것을 약속하는데,

왜 그것을 작은 삶이라 하는가

 

더 큰 삶을 인식하게 되기 때문이다

'난 작은 삶에 투자하지 않겠다'

 

아마도 그것이 그대를 질식시키는 것이라서

그대는 더 큰 삶을 인식하게 되기 때문에

 

간단하게, 간단하게 하자

 

we're not talking about life style

we're talking about life essence

it didn't even come, is awlays there

but something awaken to it

 

삶의 스타일에 대해 말하고 있지 않다

삶의 본질에 대해 말하고 있다

그것이 나타난 것도 아니다, 항상 있는 것이다

하지만 뭔가가 그것에 깨어난다

 

everybody who has a human identity is going to win and lose

nothing is stable

it's ok, just understand it that that's how it works

and the thing is, we become unhappy because in the realm of what is changeful,

we want to make something unchanging, which is not natural to it

that which is unchaing is in the spirit, in the being, not in the mind

 

인간의 동일시를 가진 모두, 이기거나 질 것이다

안정되어 있는 것이 없다

그건 괜찮다, 그냥 그렇게 작용한다는 것을 이해해라

문제는,

변하는 영역에서 우리가 불행해진다는 것이다

뭔가를 변하지 않는 것으로 만들고 싶어한다, 그것에게는 자연스럽지 않은 것을

변하지 않는 것은 얼 에, 존재에 있다,

마음에 있지 않다

 

is there a happiness which does not depend on circumstances?

is there a joy that doesn't depend on whether you have money or not,

or whether you're in a good relationship or not,

or whether you have your own home or not,

whether you have or not, doesn't matter

you're just always happy, nothing can break it

does anybody know this happiness?

 

상황에 의존하지 않는 행복이 있는가

그대가 돈을 가졌는지 안 가졌는지에 의존하지 않는 기쁨이 있는가

좋은 관계에 들어서 있는지 아닌지,

그대 자신의 집을 가졌는지 아닌지

그대가 갖든 없든, 상관없다

how you can be satisfied?

you go to your mind, you will never be satisfied, unending puzzle

is there confusion in your beingness?

and do you know the difference between beingness and person?

they may appear to be expert persons or people

but there is no expert being

 

어떻게 만족할 수 있을까

그대의 마음으로 간다면, 결코 만족하지 못할 것이다, 끝없는 퍼즐이다

 

그대의 존재에 혼동이 있는가

그리고 존재와 '난 이렇다' 사이에 차이를 아는가

전문가인 어떤 사람들은 있을런지 모르겠다

하지만 전문 존재는 없다

 

at the place of being, which we all are actually

try not to be, try to be not conscious

consciousness is always there, beingness is alawys here

but we don't understand what it is

because you don't understand what you are

you can't understand with your head what you are

because your head is full of notions

you have to be greater than any idea

because you observe ideas, ideas don't observe you

 

존재의 자리, 사실 우리 모두인 곳이다

있지 않으려 해 봐라, 의식하지 않으려 해 봐라

 

의식은 항상 있다, 존재는 항상 여기다

하지만 우리는 그것이 무엇인지 이해하지 못한다

그대가 무엇인지를 이해하지 못하기 때문이다

 

그대인 것을 그대의 머리로 이해할 수 없다

그대의 머리는 개념들로 가득하다

그대가 생각을 바라본다, 생각은 그대를 바라보지 않는다

 

you are looking at your mind

your mind cannot look at you

your face is not you, your body is not you

you don't have to understand this, but just hear it

just allow yourself to hear it

you're not your mind

you have never been your mind

 

그대가 그대의 마음을 바라본다

그대의 마음은 그대를 볼 수 없다

그대의 얼굴은 그대가 아니다, 그대의 몸은 그대가 아니다

 

이것을 그대는 이해해야 할 필요 없다, 그냥 들어라

그대 자신이 듣도록 허용해라

그대는 그대의 마음이 아니다

그대가 그대의 마음이었던 적이 없다

 

but if you believe you are your mind, you will become weak

because the mind is unstable

you must kae use of the mind

make it be like a mirror that reflects what is true

don't let it be like a basket of things

 

하지만 그대가 그대의 마음이라 믿는다면,

그대는 약해질 것이다

마음은 불안정하기 때문이다

마음을 활용해야 한다

그것이 사실인 것을 비추어 보이도록 거울로

그것이 뭔가를 담은 바구니이도록 두지 마라
