의식은 그 작용에서 어떤 부분도 낭비하지 않는다, 모든 것을 활용한다

그러니 아직 언어가 계속되더라도

그 힘을 잃었다

그 뒤에 정말로 믿고 있는 자가 있지 않은 것 같다

그대가 뭔가 말할 수도 있겠지만, 정말 몰입되어 있지는 않다

let me tell you something, it's very interesting,

we come to this, we must be careful that we don't end up with a room full of intellectuals,

ego let get away with that,

if it is true, true cannot be things proud - that language still has potency,

it may come through the mouse, but it has no root,

 

내가 뭔가 말하겠다, 아주 재밌는 것이다

우리가 여기에 이르렀는데

 

주의해야 한다,

지적인 것들로 가득한 방으로 끝나지 않도록 해야 한다

에고는 그것으로 끝낸다

 

진실이라면, 진실은 자랑스러워하는 것들일 수 없다, 그 언어에는 아직 에고의 힘이 있다

그것이 입을 통해 나올 수도 있다, 하지만 그것에 뿌리가 없다

 

like, if the room is hot, fan is going, 

we switched off, it will still go for a while,

but you have cut the power,

so something knows it's going, but it is stopping,

it's not stopped, but it's stopping, slowing down,

because it's not being fed

 

방이 더우면, 팬을 돌린다,

스위치를 껐다 우리가,

아직 잠시 동안은 팬이 계속 돌아갈 것이다

하지만 그대가 전기를 껐다

그러니 무언가, 그것이 움직이고 있지만, 멈출 것이라는 것을 안다

멈추어있지 않다, 하지만 멈출 것이다, 서서히,

전기를 공급받지 않으므로

 

so although the language may still continue,

but it's lost its  potency,

like there isn't really believer behind it,

you may find you're speaking things, but you're not really in them,

and if somebody goes, 'what you're talking about?', - i don't know, actually

 

그러니 아직 언어가 계속되더라도

그 힘을 잃었다

그 뒤에 정말로 믿고 있는 자가 있지 않은 것 같다

그대가 뭔가 말할 수도 있겠지만, 정말 몰입되어 있지는 않다

그리고 누군가, '너 무슨 말을 하는거야?' 라고 하면,

모르겠다, 사실

 

this is why sometimes we end up saying,

i'm speaking but not speaking,

that's where that comes from

 

이래서 때로 우리가,

나는 말하나 말하지 않는다, 라 하는 것이다

그것이 나온 곳이 이것이다

 

something is interacting, seems like this, but the power is cut,

meaning that that identity with it is cut,

so on a certain level, its functioning is going on, and it plays a part in the normal functioning of life so and so, so,

but the importance previously given to that has diminished, 

doesn't mean it's rubbish? no, its functioning that it still somehow going on,

and consciousness does not waste any of its actions, it makes use of everything,

but the mind may not understand how it makes use of everything,

but you intuitively know somehow it just gets embedded into the mass of consciousness, we don't need to know that

 

무언가 상호작용을 한다, 이렇게 보인다, 하지만 전력이 끊어져있다

그것에의 동일시가 끊어져있다는 의미다

 

그래서 어느 단계에서는, 그 작용이 계속된다, 삶 등의 보통 작용에서 역할을 한다

하지만 이전에 그것에 주어진 중요성은 떨어진다

쓰레기라는 말일까, 아니다, 그 작용은 아직 어떻든 계속 간다

그리고 의식은 그 작용에서 어떤 부분도 낭비하지 않는다, 모든 것을 활용한다

하지만 마음은 의식이 어떻게 모든 것을 활용하는지 이해하지 못할 수 있다

그러나 그대는 직관적으로 어떻든 그건 그냥 의식의 덩어리 속에 내장되어 있으며, 그것을 알 필요가 없다는 것을 안다

 

so this thing, yes, but the perceiver and the act of perceiving or the object of perception, 

they rise on together,

and that somehow know the infinite self which is without any fixed location,

it's as though we're looking out from some vastness,

but we're so accustomed to that anchor of a body,

we keep assuming it's the body that knows a little person living in and he knows that,

but litltle person living here also? no

 

그러니 이것, 그렇다

인식하는 자와 인식하는 행위나 인식 대상, 그들은 함께 일어난다

그리고 어떻든 어느 고정된 위치 없는, 무한한 자신을 안다

마치 우리가 어떤 광대함에서 바라보는 것 같다

 

하지만 우리는 몸의 부착에 너무 익숙해있어서

계속해서, 작은 사람이 안에 살고 있는 몸이고, 그가 그것을 안다 라고 추정한다

하지만 작은 사람이 여기 살고 있는가? 아니다

 

and as we begin to introspect,

we're finding that we're not relying upon this 3 dimensional objective form,

something is becoming less located as a form and becoming more spacial,

have you experienced or not?

(yes)

 

그리고 우리가 탐구를 시작하면,

우리가 이 3차원의 물체 형태에 의존하고 있지 않다는 것을 발견해간다

무언가 형상으로서의 위치가 덜어져간다, 그리고 보다 공간적이 되어간다

경험해 본 적이 있는가 아닌가

and gradually, this is why that thing that we fear which was that somehow,

if we lose contact with a form, we are dead

 

그리고 점차,

이래서 우리가 두려워하는 것이다

형상과의 접촉을 잃으면, 우리는 죽는다고

 

we found out, when we lose the strong belief in a form as our factual support, but actually quite happy,

because something is moved out of perishable zone of the body, mind,

body is a time body, it has a time life, a birth time, and time life and an end time, 

the consciousness doesn't follow the same line,

it's not born by sperm and ovumn

 

우리가 발견한 것은,

형상을 사실로 지지하는 강한 믿음을 잃을 때, 사실 상당히 행복하다는 것

무언가 몸과 마음의, 영원하지 않은 지대에서 나간 것이다

 

몸은 시간에 제한된 몸이다, 시간에 제한된 삶을 갖는다, 태어나고, 살고, 끝나는 시간,

의식은 같은 선을 따르지 않는다

의식은 정자에 의해, 난자에 의해, 태어나지 않는다
