그대가 이 발견을 견딜 수 있을 때, 그대는 자유다

그리고 이것 때문에 두려움이 오기도 한다

마음은 무언가 붙들 것을 찾는다

자신이 사라질 것 같으므로

so the point of asking you to observe is not just keep reporting that it just goes on and on,

but at some point, it's not just about what you're seeing,but who is the who see?

when that question begins to bite in, the the Grace escalates in its effects

그대에게 요구되는 관찰은, 그냥 계속 오고 갈 뿐인 것을 보고하는 것이 아니다

어느 지점에 이르면, 그대가 보는 것이 아니라, 보는 자가 누구인가? 이다

이 질문이 파고들기 시작하면, Grace 가 그 효과를 고조시킨다

maybe at first you don't understand, what is he talking about?, there's a kind of resistance, barrier

and it seems you cannot understand what is being spoken,

but at some point it opens up and understanding begins,

after this, it's a countdown for delusions

아마도 처음에는 이해하지 못한다, '뭐라고 하는거야?', 

일종의 저항, 장벽이 있다

듣는 것을 그대가 이해할 수 없는 것 같다

하지만 어느 지점에서 확 열린다, 이해가 시작된다

이런 후에는, 환영들의 카운트다운이다

in the beginning it's very difficult,

this is why we don't overencourage people to come here,

we're not interested in this

but if there's an urge in you, that urge may bring you here

and if you're following that urge, Grace will support you

처음에는 아주 어렵다

이래서 내가 이 곳에 사람들이 오는 것을 과하게 격려하지 않는 것이다

그런 데 관심없다

하지만 그대 안에 열망이 있다면, 그 열망이 그대를 이 곳으로 데려올 것이다

그리고 그대가 그 열망을 따른다면, Grace 가 그대를 지지할 것이다

ego can be observer also,

ego also has the capacity to witness, to observe,

the difference is its witnessing is very very self interest,

it's not universal, its witnessing is very very localized,

when that is recognized, 'wait a second, ego is also looking and so on, but that kind of looking is very very emotional and very very narrow,

then what sees this',

then you have to admit that the deeper place of looking,

much wider space in which even the egoic observer is itself seen,

so even the egoic observer becomes also phenomenal,

it's another thing to see, 

that is recognized, already you're experiencing a sense of expansiveness,

you don't feel so rigid, so solid,

something begins to sense a sense of formlessness, a sense of something immense is opening up inside

에고 또한 관찰자가 될 수 있다

에고 또한 주시하고, 관찰할 수 있는 힘을 갖고 있다

차이는, 에고의 주시는 너무 너무 자기가 관심있는 것에로,

전체적이지 않다, 에고의 주시는 아주, 아주 치우친다

그런 것이 이해될 때, 

'잠깐만, 에고 또한 보고 있다, 하지만 그런 바라봄은 너무 너무 감정적이고, 너무 너무 편협하다, 그러면 이것을 바라보는 것은 무엇인가'

그 때 그대는 더 깊은 바라봄의 자리가 있다는 것을 인정해야 한다

훨씬 더 넓은 공간 안에서, 에고 관찰자 자체가 보인다

그러니 에고 관찰자 또한 현상적이다

또 다른 볼 것 이다

이렇게 이해되는 것으로 이미 확장감을 경험한다

너무 움츠러들고 견고한 것을 느끼지 않는다

무언가 형상없는 것에 대한 느낌, 광대한 것에 대한 느낌이 안에서 열려간다

and because of this sometimes fears come,

the mind tries to search for something o hold onto,

beause it feels that it's vanishing, so it takes some maturing to bear even the first staes of that opening

그리고 이것 때문에 두려움이 오기도 한다

마음은 무언가 붙들 것을 찾는다

자신이 사라질 것 같으므로

그래서 이렇게 처음 열리는 단계에서 견뎌낼 수 있는 성숙이 좀 필요하다

if you're in a sanga, it may encourage you and support you,

if you're by yourself and you have a devotion and love for God, then something will come to comfort you to encourage, don't worry, i'm with you

만일 그대가 sangha 에 있다면, 그 곳이 그대를 격려하고 지지할 수 있다

만일 그대가 혼자라면, 그리고 그대에게 신에 대한 헌신과 사랑이 있다면, 무언가 그대를 격려하러 갈 것이다, 걱정하지 마라, 내가 너와 있다'

otherwise we run, run away

because something feels, i am going to disappear and so there's natural resistance to go close to something that makes you feel you might disappear,

but the truth is that you are not disappearing, what you are not is disappearing

and are you sufficiently maturing to see that difference to discern that difference?

this is what is happening here in satsang

그렇지 않다면 우리는 달려댄다, 달아난다

왜냐면 무언가가, 난 사라지겠네, 라 느끼기 때문이다

그래서 그대가 사라질 수 있는 느낌을 주는 것에 가까이 가는데 자연스럽게 저항이 있다

하지만 진실은, 그대가 사라지는 것이 아니라, 그대가 아닌 것이 사라져간다

그대는 그 차이를 분별할 수 있도록 충분히 성숙한지?

이것이 사트상에서 일어나는 것이다

'..............but i cannot go beyond observer',

well, i ask, you what observer? you've gone beyond ego observer,

then you come to a place of what you may call conscious presence, 

the sense of presence is the evolution from person into the state of presence,

the presence is not a person,

it's like a bridge between personhood and absolute, pure awareness,

it's another stage, much more subtle stage of observing

'.........하지만 난 관찰자를 넘어갈 수 없다',

글쎄, 내가 그대에게 물어본다, 무슨 관찰자? 그대는 에고 관찰자를 넘어서 갔다

그러면 그대가, 의식하는 존재라 부를 수도 있는 곳에 이른다

존재하는 느낌은 person (아주 제한된 의식) 으로부터 존재 상태로의 진화이다

존재는 person 이 아니다

그건 마치 person 과 절대, 순수 자각 사이의 다리같다

또 다른 단계이다, 훨띤 더 미묘한 바라봄의 단계

when most come to this stage already, they feel, ha...................., they're already, naturally, 

even the one who was an atheist starts to talk about God, he can't deny, something here, oh ho..............,

they start to talk like that

이 단계에 이르는 대부분이 이미, 하아.............라 느낀다, 그들은 이미, 자연스럽게,

무신론자조차 신에 대해 이야기하기 시작한다, 그는 부정할 수 없다, 무언가 있다, 호오..............

그들은 이렇게 말하기 시작한다

at a certain point when kees observing, but with the following the guidance that's been given

and some point you come to that there's observing, the source of observing itself is fomrless,

which is not different from what you're discovering that your own self, the source is formless,

when you're able to bear that discovering, you're free,

formless but with form

계속 관찰하다 어느 지점에 이르면, 하지만 주어진 안내 를 따라서다

어느 지점에서, 그대가 바라보는, 바라봄의 근원 자체로 형상이 없는 것에 이른다

그건 그대 자신, 근원이 형상없음 이라는 것을 발견하는 것과 다르지 않다
