그대는 어디에도 가지 않는다, 하지만 놓아야 할 것은 있다

even presence seems to be witnessable

but don't plan any technique, because up to presence, only there you can make effort

after presence, you cannot make any effort

you must just be aware that there's presence also

and something takes beyond that

 

존재 조차 바라볼 수 있는 것 같다,

하지만 어떤 기술도 만들어내지 마라, 왜냐하면 존재 까지, 오로지 거기까지 그대가 노력할 수 있다

존재 이후에는, 그대가 어떤 노력도 할 수 없다

존재 또한 있다는 것을 그냥 인식해야 한다,

그리고 무언가가 그것에서 벗어나게 한다

 

but that urge in you must blossom

otherwise fear will come

it's enough you keep observing, your behavior, the world, people, your reactions, 

and somehow sense of separation happen,

there's a seeing of these things, but no victims, sense of just being with you

stay with this more and more

and you're happy, maybe the happiest you've ever been

you'll not exchange this for anything

that's the power of beingness

 

하지만 그대 안에서 그 열망이 피어나야 한다

그렇지 않으면 두려움이 올 것이다

 

계속해서 바라보는 것으로 충분하다, 

그대의 태도, 세상, 사람들, 그대의 반응들,

그리고 어떻게 해서인가 분리감이 일어난다,

이런 것들에 대한 바라봄이 있다, 하지만 희생자는 없다, 그냥 그대와 있는 느낌 뿐

이것과 더욱 더 머물러라

그대는 행복하다, 아마 이제껏 중 가장 행복할 것이다,

그대는 이것을 어떤 것과도 바꾸지 않을 것이다,

그것이 존재의 힘이다

 

somehow you find things begin to flow more easily

it's the self also

but rarely, even beingness itself,

not too quick, don't be in a hurry because you heard it

in its own time

beingness is beautiful, but it's also seeable

but just keep looking

this you cannot see,

to look at being, you don't know where you're looking from

you don't know what you're looking as

nobody know

there's no knowledge there

 

어떻든 그대는 모든 것들이 보다 쉽게 흐르는 것을 발견한다

그것이 또한 자신 이다

 

하지만 드물게, 자신 그것조차,

 

너무 급하지 않게, 서두르지 마라, 그대가 그것을 들었다고 해서

그것 자신의 시간이 있다

 

존재는 아름답다, 하지만 그것 또한 바라볼 수 있다

하지만 그냥 계속해서 바라봐라

이것은 그대가 볼 수 없다, 

존재를 바라본다, 그대가 어디에서 바라보는지 모른다,

무엇으로서 바라보는지 모른다

아무도 모른다

그곳에는 앎이 없다

 

in the world, we venerate knowledge

but when you become awake to the unity of all things, there's nothing separate from you to know

if knowledge sprouts spontaneously, it's fine, 

somebody comes to give you, gift you accept

but the gift doesn't make more of you

nor losing something make you less

 

세상에서는 우리가 앎을 숭배한다,

하지만 그대가 모든 것들의 하나임에 깨어나게 될 때, 그대로부터 분리되어 있는 알 것이 없다

앎이 즉시적으로 생겨난다면, 그것은 괜찮다,

누군가가 와서 그대에게 준다, 선물을 그대가 받는다,

하지만 선물은 더한 그대가 되게 하지 않는다,

무언가를 잃는 것도 덜한 그대로 만들지 않는다

 

you have nowhere to go, but you have something to drop

and you hear, persist, gradually you come out of this, dream for some nightmare

but it doesn't mean that your terrestiral life is just oh elegant, abundant, no

you may have pain in the body, but it won't have significance it had before

 

그대는 어디에도 가지 않는다, 하지만 놓아야 할 것은 있다

듣는다, 끈기있게 걔속한다, 점차 그대는 이 꿈, 악몽에서 벗어난다

하지만 그대의 지구상 삶이, '오 우아하고, 풍요롭다'라는 뜻은 아니다, 아니다

몸에 아픔이 있을 수 있다, 하지만 그것이 이전에 가졌던 중요성을 갖지 않을 것이다

person is interested in you, because only you exist, he doesn't

and if you believe in him, he takes a ride in you

actually his deepest yearning is to merge with you, which is good thing

and he will come,

you'll feel like you make more mistakes that before, 

it's good, it's somehow you're detoxing, so everything is coming to the surface

seemingly

but to your real being, nothing is going to happen

but joy is emerging in you, don't worry

 

제한된 인식은 그대에게 관심 있다, 오로지 그대만이 존재하기 때문이다, 그는 존재하지 않는다

그대가 그를 믿는다면, 그는 그대를 타고 다닌다

사실 그의 가장 깊은 열망은 그대와 합쳐지는 것이다, 그것은 좋은 것이다

 

그리고 그는 나타날 것이다,

그대는 이전보다 더 많이 실수하는 것처럼 느껴질 것이다,

그것은 좋다, 어떻든 해독하는 것이다, 그렇게 모든 것이 표면으로 나온다

그렇게 보인다

하지만 그대의 진짜 존재에는, 아무것도 일어나지 않을 것이다

하지만 기쁨이 그대 안에서 나타난다, 걱정하지 마라

 

many give up, a long way, because 

'more and more troubles are coming, --'

yes, but 

if you have children, you know troubles, 

if you have relationships, you know troubles,

everything we know some trouble

and we bear it, because we feel it's valuable in the long run

then how much more would you bear the realization of yourself

 

많은 이들이 그만둔다, 기나긴 길이다, 왜냐하면

'점점 더 많은 문제들이 나타난다, --'

 

그렇다, 하지만

그대에게 아이들이 있다면, 문제들이 있다,

관계들이 있다면, 문제들이 있다,

우리가 아는 모든 것이, 좀 문제가 있다

그리고 우리는 그것을 견딘다, 결국에는 그것이 가치있는 것으로 느껴지기 때문이다

그러면 그대 자신의 깨어남은, 얼마나 더 많이 그대가 견뎌야 하겠는가

 

you feel, 'i keep failing'

don't worry, at least your failure in the right direction

some urge, and the urge manifest results

and more than that, the power and the grace of God is with you

because all things we're called towards, to be called to awakening, to be called towards the truth

 

그대는, '난 계속 실패한다'고 느낀다

걱정하지 마라, 적어도 바른 방향으로의 실패다

열망은 결과들을 드러내 보인다

그리고 그 이상이다, 신의 힘과 은혜로움이 그대와 함께 있다

모든 것들이, 우리가 향하도록 불린다, 깨어남으로, 진리를 향해 불린다

 

like i say, you have to become the cow that jumped over the moon

people tell, 'how silly stories, how can cow jump over the moon?'

my cows do

moon mean mind

if you feel you have to go through so much process, so much to go beyond, 

then you've just drawn out of journey,

it may take lifetimes

 

내가 말하는 것처럼, 그대는 달을 뛰어넘은 소가 되어야 한다

사람들은, '바보같은 이야기다, 소가 어떻게 달을 뛰어넘을 수 있는가'라 한다

나의 소들은 한다

달 이란 마음이다

그대가 너무나 많은 과정을 겪어야 하는 것으로, 너무나 벗어나야 하는 것으로 느낀다면,

그대는 여정을 길게 끌 뿐이다,

여러 삶이 걸릴 수도 있다

 

but just keep looking, and don't take a shape,

just those few sentences,

you conquer the world

 

하지만 단지 계속 바라봐라, 그리고 모양을 잡지 마라,

그런 몇 문장,

그대는 세상을 정복한다
