impersonal awareness, non-visual self,

the best way we can use the words is the place of total peace and stillness, impersonal, and free from the mental noise that comes up when we are identified as a person

 

내가 진짜 자신 이라 부르는 자리,

제한 없는 각성, 시각적으로 보이지 않는 자신,

그 표현을 가장 잘 쓸 수 있는 방식은

완전한 평화와 고요함의, 제한 없는 자리, 그리고 우리가 제한된 인식으로 동일시될 때 나타나는 정신적인 소음에서 자유로운 자리다

 

you refrained yourself into a particular kind of entity that keeps on being presented, 'this is situation with me',

it's like a certain identity, is presented as yourself

now from my place, that identity is never true

if you work at it for 100 years, it will have new aspects of itself that keep working on

so i see the futility ultimately

although in the beginning, i can understand the natural attraction to resolve whatever present issues may be perceived

 

그대는 그대 자신을 억제해서 특정한 종류의 존재로 계속해서 나타낸다, 

'이것이 나와 관련된 상황이다'

그것이 어떤 정체성인 것 같다, 그대 자신으로 나타낸다

because we are identified what may be perceived as problems as yours,

but is shaped by the person you take yourself to be,

which is an idea in the true you

and the true self that you are is not included in this discussion

we're mostly talking about the developed self, the sense of personal self with its ongoing situations and life and problems and so on

 

하지만 우리의 연결에서 좋은 것은

i can't say, just discard it, beause first there's a strong belief in that identity, so it's not going to be easy to say, discard it,

there may be a time i can say that to you, i'll see when that moment comes

but now i can say,

if you can remember or think or imagine anything at all, it's not real,

beacuse it's just feature presently in your state of consciousness

it has come up now, and its memory also,

it's also an aspect of consciousness, and the sense of personhood is being represented

for me, person is a thought based construct, but because it's identified as a self, it's not seen merely as a thought

and we are strongly identified with the personal identity

it goes deep to some extent,

because we all have it

 

반면 나는 

나는 그냥 그것을 제거해라 라 말할 수는 없다, 왜냐하면 우선 그 동일시에 강한 믿음이 있기 때문이다,

any of the sages we know of, 

they spoke of common language, they had daily situations, challenges, you may say like that

but it didn't somehow leave any real impact on their consciousness

because they never had feeling that they're out of touch with their self

they'll see such terminologies as really totally unreal

so all that's happening in the body mind, they see it as though on the screen,

including the sense of person suffering or enjoying or looking forward to or remembering,

they include that in the perceivable phenomenon

 

우리가 말하는 현자들 누구든

그들은 일상 언어를 말했다, 매일의 상황, 시련들이 있었다고 할 수 있겠다

하지만 어떻든 그것이 그들의 의식에 어떠한 실제적인 영향력도 남기지 않았다

그래서 몸 마음에서 일어나는 모든 것, 그들은 그것을 화면 위에 있는 것처럼 본다

고통을 겪거나 즐기거나, 고대하거나 기억하는, 제한된 인식을 포함해서

그들은 그것을 인식가능한 현상으로 포함시킨다

 

that is a very powerful place
