우리는 너무나 세속의 자신의 지침, 마음에서 살고 있다

 

그리고 마음의 본성은 다음 모험으로 데려간다

사실 제한된 성격의 상태는 불안의 상태다

그래서 우리는 항상 다음 경험을 원한다

그대가 결코 만족하지 않으므로, 완전히 

그대가 결코 만족하지 않는 것은 신의 은혜로움이다

하지만 우리는 그것이 그 뜻인 줄 알지 못한다

지구 상 어떤 것도,

계속 가는, 그리고 만족시키는 무언가를 그대가 찾고 있다고 직관적으로 아는 방식에서,

그대를 만족시키지 못할 것이다

그리고 세상의 어떤 것도 이것을 그대에게 주지 못한다

you'll lose all the things that inhibit your beauty, then you're becoming more yourself

 

그대는 항상 더욱 그대 자신이 될 것이다

그대의 아름다움을 막는 모든 것들을 잃을 것이다, 그러면 그대는 더욱 그대 자신이 되어 간다

 

it has no power apart from you think it's important

so when you believe in, then you say, 'ok i enjoy satsang, still i'm not convinced',

is your mind speaking, not your heart

your life may change because you heard something inside and you may have forgot what you heard,

but your life still change

 

그래서 그대가 믿을 때,

그러면 그대는, '좋다 나는 사트상을 즐긴다, 하지만 아직 확신이 없다'라 말한다

그대의 마음이 말하는 것이다, 그대의 가슴이 아니라

 

그대의 삶은 변할 것이다,

그대가 안에서 무언가를 들었기 때문에,

그리고 그대가 들은 것을 잊었을지 모른다,

그럼에도 그대의 삶은 변할 것이다

 

if you are searching for something of the world, then you may have to develop skill to get it

if you're searching for the highest, i'm telling you, it's already with you

somehow learn to see from the place of talking inside

if you want the highest, you don't have to go anywhere

you may have to go hear it that is here

and it's not a compliment to the ego

it's already here, just going to get switched on

 

그대가 세상의 무언가를 찾고 있다면, 그러면 그것을 얻기 위한 기술을 개발해야 할 것이다

그대가 가장 높은 것을 찾고 있다면, 그것은 그대에게 이미 있다고 말한다

어떻게 해서인가 안에서 말하는 자리에서 바라본다

그대가 가장 높은 것을 원한다면, 어디에도 갈 필요 없다

여기에 있는 그것을 들으러 가야 할 수는 있다

에고에게 하는 칭찬이 아니다

이미 여기에 있는 것이다, 그냥 스위치가 켜지는 것일 뿐이다

 

we're living so much in the orientation of earthly self, the mind

and the nature of the mind is taking to the next adventure

actually the state of personhood is the state of anxiety

that's why we always want the next experience

because you're never content, not fully content

this is grace of god that you're never content

but we don't know that that's what it means

because nothing on earth is going to satisfy you in the way that intuitively you know that you're looking for something that is lasting and satisfying

and nothing in the world give this to you
