제한된 인식이 집착 없이 있으려는 것은, 제한된 인식에 집착하지 않고 있는 것과 다르다

maybe you were trying to detach while being a person

it's different

it's like person is trying to be detached, is different from being detached from person

to be detached from the person is more easy than to be detached as the person

because the person, itself means attachment

so you may find it difficult

because the attached person has got history of failure in this kind of thing

so all those failures are coming up to say, 'you're not going to make it'

 

아마도 그대가 집착 없이 있으려 했던 것이, 제한된 인식으로

 

그건 다르다

제한된 인식이 집착 없이 있으려는 것은, 제한된 인식에 집착하지 않고 있는 것과 다르다

제한된 인식과 분리되어 있는 것이, 제한된 인식으로서 집착 없이 있는 것보다 쉽다

제한된 인식, 그 자체가 집착이므로

그래서 그대는 그것이 어렵다는 것을 발견할 것이다

왜냐하면 집착되어 있는 제한된 인식은 이런 것에 실패한 과거사를 갖는다

그래서 그런 모든 실패들이 나타나 말한다, '넌 해내지 못할 것이다'

 

so when i say, be detached from the person,

let the person be also witnessable

just stay as the kind of empty space,

you may feel, 'wow i don't have a choice'

at least it will be very powerful to discover how much your life is run by your mind

up until now

 

내가, 제한된 인식에서 분리되어 있어라 라고 할 때

제한된 인식 또한 바라보아지도록 두어라

그냥 비어있는 공간과 같은 것으로 머물러라

그대는, '와 난 선택할 수가 없구나'라 느낄 것이다

적어도 얼마나 그대의 삶이 그대의 마음에 의해 운영되는지 발견하는 것은 아주 강력할 것이다

 

지금까지는

 

when i say, hold to the beingness, i'm not allowing any hands to hold the beingness,

beingness is not separate from you

when i say, hold to the beingness, it means just to be beingness

you're so beingness that you don't even know it

you are the beingness, but sometimes your operational system is funtioning like the person

and that is all that needs to change to take you off the wheel of samsara

i'm not going to ask you, you can do it, i'm going to ask you, are you going to do that?

 

내가, 존재를 붙들어라 라고 할 때

나는 어떤 손으로 존재를 붙들어라 라 하는 것이 아니다

존재는 그대와 분리되어 있지 않다

내가, 존재를 붙들어라 라 할 때, 그것은 그냥 존재로 있어라 는 뜻이다

그대는 너무나 존재라, 그것을 알아차리지도 못한다

그대는 존재다,

하지만 때로는 그대의 작동 시스템이 제한된 인식처럼 움직인다

 

그리고 그것이 변해야 하는 모든 것이다, 그대가 삼사라의 바퀴에서 떨어져 나오기 위해

나는 그대에게 그대는 할 수 있다 라 요청하고 있지 않다,

나는 그대에게, 그대는 그렇게 할 것인가 라 묻고 있다

 

at the moment even to explain it to you might seem wow

but the more you understand, all my words are going to become super simple

it's almost like asking someone who was never done this before to look in the mirror and to really study their reflection

look in the mirror and recognize that the guy in the mirror is not you

and you realize that what i'm asking is so simple,

but the mind is used to going in complex way,

so simple advice becomes complex

 

그것을 그대에게 설명하는 순간에는, 와아 의 식으로 보일 수도 있다

하지만 그대가 이해할수록, 나의 모든 말이 초간단해질 것이다

이것을 이전에 해 본 적 없는 누군가에게 거울을 들여다보고, 비추어지는 것을 정말로 연구하라는 것과 같다

거울을 보고 알아차려라, 거울의 그 자는 그대가 아니다

 

그리고 그대는 내가 요청하는 것이 아주 간단하다는 것을 깨닫는다

하지만 마음은 복잡하게 들어서는 것에 익숙해 있다,

그래서 간단한 조언이 복잡하게 된다

 

and most people will need this kind of slow look at it

but as you sit more and more, and you came here to sit

 

대부분의 사람들은 천천히 바라보는 것과 같은 것이 필요할 것이다

그대가 더 앉을수록, 

그리고 그대는 앉기 위해 왔다
