진짜 가르침은, 덜어낼 수 있을 뿐이다

 

 

그대가 감각이나 마음을 통해 인식하는 어느 것이든,

있도록 두어라, 지나가는 현상일 뿐이다

그대는 그대 자신에게 돌아가라

'when we say, i trust you, it is quite easily said, but we're saying actually, i trust everything,

everything that happens, everything that doesn't happen'

 

 

"우리가, '당신을 신뢰한다'라 할 때

쉽게 말해지는 것이기는 하지만,

우리는 실제로, 모든 것을 신뢰한다, 일어나는 모든 것, 일어나지 않는 모든 것을 신뢰한다"

 

that trust means emptiness

emptiness starts like a practice, and become essence

it doesn't actually become, it just unbecome the false

 

그 신뢰는 비어있음 이다

비어있음 은, 연습처럼 시작해서, 본질이 된다

사실 되는 것이 아니라, 그냥 거짓이 덜어진다

 

learn to leave things

who is speaking to? is speaking to the self in its manifestation as personal

just don't get involved

don't fight the mind, don't fight the world

just learn what be means

don't become entangled with strategies and techniques about it

you don't need

disengage, stay empty

 

모든 것들을 내버려두는 것을 배워라

누구에게 말하고 있는가

각자 나 라고 드러내는 자신에게

 

그냥 개입하지 마라

마음과 싸우지 마라, 세상과 싸우지 마라

그냥 있는 것을 배워라

전략과 기술에 얽히지 마라

그대에게 필요하지 않다

얽히지 마라, 비어 있어라

 

then the mind is furiously trying to picture for emptiness

it will still be there, it will try

but gradually if you don't log into the things appearing,

at some point, it's as though they just dissipate

the hypnotic power just drops away

and something is left

and i don't want to say what that something is

don't just anticipate, discover that

 

그 때 마음은 미친 듯, 비어있음에 대한 이미지를 그려내려 한다

그럴 것이다, 애쓸 것이다

하지만 점차,

 

그대는 나타나 보이는 것들에 들어서지 않는다면

어느 지점에 이르러, 흩어지는 것 같다

그리고 뭔가가 남아 있다

 

무엇이 남아 있는지는 말하고 싶지 않다

그것을 예측하지 말고, 발견해라

 

it's unspeakable, indefinable

that's the peace that is beyond understanding

meaning beyond the mind

and that peace allows you to see god beyond visibility

you see it cleans everything

 

말할 수 없는 것, 정의할 수 없는 것

이해를 넘어선 평화

마음을 넘어서 있다는 뜻이다

그리고 그 평화는 그대가 신을, 눈으로 보는 것을 넘어서 보도록 한다

그것이 모든 것을 깨끗이 하는 것을 본다

 

 

 

doesn't matter if it feels difficult

but not just tolerate, don't tolerate, quiet

learn to just be empty

anything that you perceive through the senses or through the mind,

just let it be there, it's only a passing phenomenon

and you return to yourself

 

어렵게 느껴지는 것은 상관없다

하지만 견디지 마라, 조용하게 참지 마라

그냥 비어 있는 것을 익혀라

 

그대가 감각이나 마음을 통해 인식하는 어느 것이든,

있도록 두어라, 지나가는 현상일 뿐이다

그대는 그대 자신에게 돌아가라

 

because all our energy is going out to take care of your projections

all the energy we're losing is going out to control your projections

so just learn to leave that

because even when we leave it, we still keep emptiness as a concept

they's why i say, empty beyond the concept of empty

 

우리의 모든 에너지가 밖으로 나간다, 그대의 투사들을 보살피기 위해서

 

그것을 내버려두는 것을 배워라

 

그것을 내버려둔다 할 때, 우리는 여전히 그것을 개념으로 잡는다

그래서 내가 말한다,

비어있음 의 개념을 넘어서 비어 있기다

 

then you realize that you put a lot of effort to discover the effortless

who is this one that discovers it?

the soul doing in this life form at the moment

to find the one thing that can never be lost

it is only lost in the mind

mind makes loss, separation, everything

 

그러다 보면 그대가 알아차린다,

노력이 들지 않는 것을 발견하기 위해, 많은 노력을 들인다

그렇다고 발견하는 자는 누구인가

지금 이 형상으로 하고 있는 영혼

 

잃을 수 없는 그 한 가지를 발견하기 위해

 

잃는 것은 마음에서 뿐이다

마음은 잃고, 분리하고, 온갖 것을 한다

 

if you listen with your open heart,

you may find that your listening is already sadhana, direct

and you may find that in listening, there's a transformation,

you don't know what happened, you don't have to describe it,

but you're made more empty

and emptiness is key

 

그대가 열려 있는 가슴으로 듣는다면

그대가 듣는 것으로 이미, 바로 가는 길인 것을 볼 것이다

그렇게 듣는데서 변형이 있는 것을 볼 것이다

뭐가 일어났는지 모른다, 그것을 설명할 필요 없다

하지만 그대는 보다 비워진다

그리고 빔 이 핵심이다

 

the true teaching cannot give you anything, it can only take away

 

진짜 가르침은 그대에게 어떤 것을 줄 수 없다,

덜어낼 수 있을 뿐이다
