그대의 고통을 알아차리는 선물

 

 

maybe the feeling, 'if i don't know i'm suffering, i'm not suffering'

so there's a certain thing that may be called the spiritual blindness

that maya has kept us so busy with its toys

that we are enjoyiing at a phenomenal level

 

아마도 그런 느낌,

'내가 고통스럽다는 것을 알지 못한다면, 난 고통스러운 것이 아니다'

그래서 영적으로 눈이 먼 것이라 할 수 있을 것이 있다

그 환영이 우리를 그 자신의 장난감들로 아주 바쁘게 한다

우리는 현상적인 단계에서 즐긴다

 

listen, even the demons in the hell have a pleasure

if they can put you off your track, it's pleasure also

pleasure is in everything and pain

but pain makes you grow

sometimes pleasure makes you sleep

until you earn the eternal pleasure

 

지옥의 악마들조차 즐거움을 갖는다

그들이 그대를 길에서 벗어나게 한다, 그것이 또한 즐거움이다

즐거움은 모든 것에 있다, 고통에 또한

하지만 고통은 그대를 성장시킨다

때로는 즐거움이 그대를 잠들게 한다

그대가 영원한 즐거움을 얻어낼 때까지

 

so you earn the gift of awareness of your suffering, by growing in awareness

then you start to see the cost of personhood

because something has offered you personhood in exchange for your perfection

 

각성에서 성장하는 것으로,

그대는 그대의 고통을 알아차리는 선물을 얻는다

그러면 그대가, '나는 이런 사람이다'의 대가를 보기 시작한다

왜냐하면 무언가가 그대에게 제한된 인식을 주고, 그대의 완벽과 교환했다

 

you have to contemplate them

because one of the play of maya is to give you the sense that you have understood

'i know i am the self'

'i know i am the self' is not a statement made by the self

we are very much still in this heightened sense of individuality

we want to prove ourself, and we want others to know that we have transcended, we're doing good

 

그런 것들을 숙고해야 한다

환영의 놀이 중 하나가, 그대에게 그대가 이해했다는 느낌을 주는 것이다

'난 내가 자신 이라는 것을 안다'

 

'난 내가 자신인 것을 안다'는 자신 에 의해 만들어진 표현이 아니다

우리는 아직도 아주 많이, 이 강화된 개별성의 느낌에 있다

우리 자신을 입증하고 싶어한다, 그리고 다른 이들이 그것을 알기를 바란다,

우리가 변형시켰다는 것을, 잘 하고 있다는 것을

 

it is the part of the play

and it is so intricate, so subtle, so devious

that we can be swimming in this ocean of consciousness for a very very long time,

and indeed we have been

but sometimes, some have to come back to shore

 

놀이 중 일부다
