생각을 통해 걸러지면, 신의 영원성이 시간으로 보인다

인식을 통해 걸러지면, 신의 무한한 존재가 공간으로 보인다

시간과 공간은 실체, 현실에 본래 있는 것이 아니다

그냥 인간 마음의 렌즈를 통해 보일 때, 현실이 보이는 모습이다

although infinite being knows nothing other than its own being,

it is what the mind refers to as everything

what is nothing from god's point of view,

is everything from the mind's point of view

 

무한한 존재는, 그 자신 외 다른 것을 모르지만

마음이 모든 것이라 하는 그것이다

신의 관점에서 아무 것 아닌 것이,

마음의 관점에서는 모든 것이다

 

strictly speaking,

we shouldn't even say that god is nothing that is not a thing

because in its experience itself,

in infinite being's awareness of itself,

there are no things with which to contrast itself

there is no thing for it to be not

 

엄격히 말하면

우리는 신이,

-것 이 아니다, 아무 '것' 아님이라 말해서도 안 된다

왜냐하면 그 자신의 경험에서,

무한한 존재의 그 자신의 자각에서는

그 자신과 대비시킬 것들이 없기 때문이다

'그건 내가 아니다'라 할 것이 없다

 

but with  reference to the things that the mind seems to know,

we can say that god or infinite being is not a thing or nothing

from its own point of view, it is neither something nor nothing

it just is, i just am

 

하지만 마음이 아는 것 같아 보이는 것들과 관련해서는

우리는 신 혹은 무한한 존재는 -것 이 아니다, 혹은 아무 '것' 아닌 것이라 할 수도 있다

그 자신의 관점에서는,

무언가인 것도, 아무 것 아닌 것도 아니다

그냥 있다, 그냥 나

 

but the mind can know nothing of this that is prior to something or nothing

the mind perceived the reality of infinite being, god's being

through the lens of its own limitations

it refracts god's infinite being into a multiplicity and diversity of names and forms

it filters reality through thinking and perceiving

and experience reality as the world

 

하지만 마음은

'무언가 혹은 아무것도 아닌 것' 이전의 것에 대해 알 수 없다

 

마음은 무한한 존재, 신의 존재의 실체를

그 자신의 한계를 가진 렌즈를 통해 인식한다

신의 무한한 존재를,

이름과 모습들의 다수, 다양성으로 굴절시킨다

 

실체를, 생각과 인식으로 거른다

그리고 실체를 세상으로 경험한다

 

in other words, the world, the universe is how god's infinite being appears

when it is viewed through the lens of thinking and perceiving

filtered through thinking, god's eternity appears as time

filtered through perceiving, god's infinite being appears as space

time and space are not inherent in reality

they are just how reality appears when viewed through the lens of human minds

세상, 우주는

신의 무한한 존재가 생각과 인식의 렌즈를 통해 보일 때 나타나 보이는 모습이다

 

생각을 통해 걸러지면, 신의 영원성이 시간으로 보인다

reality, god's infinite being is not extended in any dimension

it has no dimensions

don't try to think of that, or at least if you try to think of it, the mind will be destroyed

it cannot go there,

it cannot pass through that portal and reamin a mind

when the mind passes through the portal, i am,

it ceases to be mind

it's like the moth touching the flame

becomes the flame but cannot know it

it is it, but cannot know it

 

실체, 신의 무한한 존재는

어느 차원으로도 확장되지 않는다

차원들을 갖고 있지 않다

 

그것에 대해 생각하지 마라,

그것에 대해 생각하려 한다면, 마음이 무너질 것이다

마음은 그곳으로 갈 수 없다

그 문을 통과해 마음으로 남아 있을 수 없다

 

마음이 그 문, 나, 를 통과할 때

마음이기를 그만둔다

나방이 불꽃에 닿는 것과 같다

불꽃이 된다, 하지만 불꽃을 알 수 없다

나방이 불꽃이다, 하지만 불꽃에 대해 알 수는 없다
