사랑은 항상 있지는 않지만, 끊어짐 없이 있다

신이 그 자신을 경험하는 것이 무엇일까

- 나 있다 -

 

신이 자신을 경험하는 것에,

그것만이 유일하게 진짜인,

절대적으로 사실인 경험인데,

그것에  대상 관련은 없다

 

그래서 신에게, - 다른 것- 이 없다

분리되어 있는 것이 없다

- 다른 것 없음 - 무엇이라고 할까

분리되어 있는 것이 없음을 무엇이라고 할까

 

우리가 누군가를 사랑할 때, 그것이 우리가 느끼는 것이다

더는 그들과 분리되어 있는 것으로 느끼지 않는다

그것이 신의 본성이다

그것이 신이 아는 전부다

신은 증오에 관한 것을 알지 못한다

왜냐하면 증오가 무엇인가

분리다

누군가를 미워하기 위해서는, 그들과 분리되어 있어야 한다

 

신은 그런 경험을 할 수 없다

어떤 것과도 떨어져 있을 수 없다

아무것도 알지 못한다

증오에 관한 것을 알지 못한다

그저 순수한, 영원하, 변하지 않는 사랑일 뿐이다

darkness doesn't alternate with light

the sun's light is always there

we sometimes turn away from it, and then it seems to be dark

or that it is dark

but that doesn't mean that the sun is not there

it just means that we've turned away from it

 

어둠은 빛으로 교체되지 않는다

햇빛은 항상 있다

우리가 그것에서 돌아서는 때가 있다,

그리고 어두운 것 같다

아니면 어둡거나

 

하지만 그것이 해가 없다는 뜻은 아니다

그냥 우리가 돌아섰을 뿐이다

 

love is always there because love is the nature of being

it can be obscured, it can be revealed

but it is not just an equal and opposite emotions

that fluctuates with hatred or conflict or unfriendliness

 

not always present, ever present,

ever shining is the nature of being

 

사랑은 항상 있다, 존재의 본성이므로

가려질 수 있다

드러날 수 있다

하지만 대립하는 감정들과 같은 것이 아니다

미움이나 갈등, 불친절과 같이 변하는 것이 아니다

 

현재에 항상 있지는 않지만, 끊어짐 없이 있다

끊임없이 빛나는 것이 존재의 본성이다

 

love is just one of the common names for god

it's the nature of god

what is god's experience of itself?

just i am

because god cannot stand apart from itself

and know itself in subject object felationship

so in god's experience itself, which is the only real, 

the only absolutely true experience,

there is nothing objective

 

신을 말하는 이름들 중 하나가 사랑이다

사랑은 신의 본성이다

신이 그 자신을 경험하는 것이 무엇일까

그냥 - 나 있다 -

신은 그 자신에게서 떨어질 수 없으므로

그 자신을 주체와 대상의 관계로 알 수 없다

 

그래서 신이 자신을 경험하는 것에,

그것만이 유일하게 진짜인,

절대적으로 사실인 경험인데,

그것에  대상 관련은 없다

 

so for god, there is no otherness

there is nothing to be separate from

what is the common name for the absence of otherness?

when we feel the absence of separation

 

그래서 신에게, - 다른 것- 이 없다

분리되어 있는 것이 없다

- 다른 것 없을 - 무엇이라고 할까

 

분리되어 있는 것이 없음을

 

when we love someone, that's what we feel

we feel that we're no longer separate from them

that's god's nature

it's all god knows

god knows nothing of hatred

because what is hatred?

it is separation

in order to hate someone, you must stand apart from them

 

우리가 누군가를 사랑할 때, 그것이 우리가 느끼는 것이다

더는 그들과 분리되어 있는 것으로 느끼지 않는다

그것이 신의 본성이다

그것이 신이 아는 전부다

신은 증오에 관한 것을 알지 못한다

왜냐하면 증오가 무엇인가

분리다

누군가를 미워하기 위해서는, 그들과 분리되어 있어야 한다

 

god cannot have that experience

because it cannot stand apart from anything

it knows nothing

god knows nothing of hatred

god is just pure, eternal changless love

 

신은 그런 경험을 할 수 없다

어떤 것과도 떨어져 있을 수 없다

아무것도 알지 못한다

증오에 관한 것을 알지 못한다

그저 순수한, 영원하, 변하지 않는 사랑일 뿐이다
