마음 그 자신의 빛은 없다

우리 마음이 자신을 돌아볼 수 있는냐 의 여지는 없다

마음은, 자각으로 자신을 돌아볼 수 없다

마음은 애초에, 아는 힘으로, 그 자신의 힘을 갖고 있지 않다

순수 앎, 무한 의식에서 힘을 빌어올 뿐이다

there is no moonlight

the moonlight is just reflected sunlight

so the finite mind is the moon, the sun is pure consciousness

the our minds, we seem to know our experience with our minds

no, it's the reflected light of infinite consicousness

the only light there is the only consciousness there is

 

달빛은 없다

달빛은 그냥 반사된 햇빛이다

 

제한되어 있는 마음은 달이다,

해 는 순수 의식이다

우리는 우리 마음으로, 우리 경험을 아는 것 같아 보인다

무한 의식의 빛이 반사되어 보이는 것일 뿐인 것이다

 

있는 유일한 빛은, 있는 유일한, 의식 뿐이다

 

so for that reason, 

not only does the light wich which the moon illuminates the earth at night,

not originate from the moon

for the same reason, the sun is not lit up by the moon's light

that would be like the mind

 

달이 지구를 밤에 비추는 빛은,

달에서 나오는 것이 아니다

해 는 달빛으로 켜진 것이 아니다

마음 (달) 이 그런 식이다

 

because the moon doesn't even have any light of its own

moonlight is the sunlight

there's no other light in the universe

there's no question of our mind being self reflective,

and as a result, knowing awareness

because our mind doesn't have its own capacity to know in the first place

it borrows its capacity to know from pure knowing, infinite consciousness

 

달은 그 자신의 어떤 빛도 갖고 있지 않다

달빛은 햇빛이다

우주에 그 외 다른 빛은 없다

 

우리 마음이 자신을 돌아볼 여지는 없다

마음이, 아는 자각으로 자신을 돌아볼 수 없다

마음은 애초에, 알 수 있는 그 자신의 능력을 갖고 있지 않다

순수 앎, 무한 의식에서 힘을 빌어올 뿐이다

 

so what seems to be our awareness of our self,

just our awareness of being,

is infinite consciousness knowledge of itself

there is no other self to know itself

 

그래서

우리 자신을 아는 자각으로 보이는 것,

우리가 있다는 것을 아는 것,

그것은 무한 의식이 그 자신을 아는 것이다

그 자신을 아는 것은 그것 외 없다
