창조적 존중

그대가 이런 문제에 대해 누군가에게 말한다고 하면,

유연하고, 열려 있고, 유동적이고, 창조적이어야 한다

누구에게 말하는지에 따라, 새로운 길을 만들어내야 한다

 

그리고 그것이,

가르침이 견고하고, 경직되게 되어,

모두가 같은 것을 하게 되는 것을 막는다

 

그것이 가르침이 살아있게 하고,

가르침이 표현되는 그 사람들과 상황들에 따라 대응하게 한다

 

그것이 종교가 되는 것을 막는다

with some people, you can just share with them what you did to find this peace in yourself,

to find this joy in yourself

but there may be a few people whose paths will be sufficiently similar to your own,

where your own experience is a benefit to them

but some people will have to go to a different route

if you're talking to your friends, your family,

each one of them will be different

 

어떤 사람들과는,

그대가 자신 안에서 보는 평화, 기쁨을 찾기 위해 했던 것을

그들과 나눌 수 있다

 

하지만 그대의 것과 많이 비슷한 것이어서,

그대의 경험이 그들에게 도움이 되는 이들은 거의 없을 것이다

 

어떤 사람들은 다른 경로로 가야 한다

그대의 친구, 가족과 말한다고 하면, 그들 각자 다를 것이다

 

and you will have to find a way

don't expect them to come to you

you have to go to them, meet them where they are

then you start walking back to their true nature,

to the source of peace in them

and with some people, that will be a very clean, simple direct path

 

그대가 길을 찾아야 한다

그들이 그대와 가까워질 수 있을 것을 기대하지 마라

그대가 그들에게 가야 한다, 그들이 있는 곳에서 만나야 한다

그런 다음 그들의 본성으로 되걷기 시작한다,

그들 안 평화의 근원으로

 

어떤 사람들의 경우, 그 길은 아주 깨끗한, 단순한, 바로 가는 길일 것이다

but this is an unusual group

we've the all the other paths

we all want to go directly simply

 

이곳처럼

하지만 이곳은 보통의 모임이 아니다

우리는 모두 단순하게, 바로 가기를 원한다

 

but when you are encountering people kind of outside non-dual community,

you have to tailor your understanding,

even within the non-dual community, we still have to tailor our understanding,

such as it is, to each person we speak to

but we can be more direct

once we found them, wherever they are, we can go as directly as we can

 

하지만 그대가, 비이원적 공동체 밖과 같은 곳의 사람들을 만날 때는

그대의 이해를 조절해야 한다

심지어 비이원적 공동체 안에서도, 우리는 우리 이해를 조절한다

있는 그것을,

우리가 말하는 각자에게.

하지만 우리는 보다 직접적일 수 있다

 

우리가 한 번 그들이 있는 곳을 발견하고 나면,

가능한 바로 갈 수 있다

 

you'll hace to find a way of bringing this understanding on their terms,

not on your terms

and that's very creative because you'll have to find pathways

that you didn't take yourself

and that means, if you are for anyone that's speaking about these matters,

it makes you flexible, open and fluid and creative

you have to develop new pathways depending on who you are talking to

 

이 이해를, 그들의 용어로 가져가는 길을 찾아야 한다,

그대의 용어가 아니라

그건 아주 창조적이다

그대가 길을 발견해야 할 것이므로

그대 자신은 하지 않은 것들을

 

그 말은,

그대가 이런 문제에 대해 누군가에게 말한다고 하면,

and that stops the teaching becoming rigid and godmatic

that everybody do the same thing

that keeps the teaching alive and responsive to the people and situations

in which it is being expressed

it stops becoming a religion

 

그리고 그것이,
