그대는 훈련을 통해 신에게 다가가지 않는다

사랑을 통해 다가간다

it's continued practice, but

i really don't like the word practice

it's kind of blasphemous to talk of practice

you don't approach god through practice

you approach god through love

 

계속해서 훈련한다 라

하지만 난 훈련이라는 말을 정말 안 좋아한다

훈련이라고 말하면, 모독적인 것 같다

그대는 훈련을 통해 신에게 다가가지 않는다

사랑을 통해 다가간다

 

yes you can practice it, but it's not an effortful disciplined practice

it's a loving intention to go back to your being,

to infinite being, to god's being

over and over again

until the multiplicity and diversity of things lose their capacity to veil their reality

 

훈련이라 할 수도 있다, 하지만

억지로 애쓰는, 단련되는 연습이 아니다

다시 또 다시

그대의 존재로, 무한한 존재로, 신의 존재로 돌아가려는, 사랑의 의도다

 

모든 것들의 복잡성과 다양성이

실체를 가리를 그들의 힘을 잃을 때까지

 

you just have this loving intention to go back there again and again

you have this loving intention for the reality of the world,

to shine through the world and as the world

it's more to do with love than practice

 

단지 다시 또 다시, 그것으로 돌아가려는 사랑의 의도를 갖는 것이다

세상의 실체를 향한 사랑,

세상을 통해 빛나고, 세상으로서 빛나려는 

그건 훈련보다는 사랑과 관련있다

 

it'f fine to practice

but you feel you're drawn to your true nature

through love more than practice

 

훈련하는 것 좋다

하지만 그대가,

그대의 진짜 본성에 끌리는 것을 느껴라

훈련보다는 사랑을 통해
