그대 존재의 실제, 그대가 누구인지, 이 모든 게 무엇에 관한 것인지 를 찾아내야 한다

이 세상에서 그대가 얻을 건 아무것도 없다,

원소들로 만들어진 모든 것들, 이 모든 것들은 변하는 것이 영원하다

의식이 경험을 맛 보기 위헤 필요로 하는 이 몸 자체가 시간에 제한된 몸이다

마음 또한 시간에 갇혀있다

오직 그대 자신의 존재만,

그 안에서, 느끼는 그대의 바로 그 작용, 마음을 해석하는 것, 느끼는 것, 자체가 현상으로 인식된다

그것을 인식하는 그것, 그것이 스스로에게 알려질 때, 그대가 함정에서 빠져나간다

everything is coming and going,

yesterday, you will have met some beings, you look at them in the eyes just like we're having this eye contact now,

you have a meaningful moment,

all these happened, this gone,

cannot look back and dip your hand and produce a sample of yesterday today, 

it's gone,

the function of memory vainly clings onto some seed from yesterday,

but it is already in an interpretation,

all things are like that, they come and go,

the quintessence of them may believes some seed in you,

and they continue to stay alive in you

 

모든 것이 오고 간다

어제, 그대는 어떤 존재들을 만나, 그들의 눈을 바라보며, 우리가 지금 바라보고 있는 것처럼,

의미있는 순간을 가졌을 수 있다,

이런 모든 것들이 일어났고, 가버렸다,

돌아 그대의 손을 담글 수 없다, 어제의 한 조각을 오늘 만들어낼 수 없다,

가버렸다

기억의 작용이 헛되이 어제로부터의 씨앗들을 좀 붙들고 있다

하지만 그건 이미 해석 안에 있다

모든 것들이 그렇다, 오고 간다,

그것들의 본질은 좀 그대 안에 심어져있을 수 있다,

계속해서 그대 안에서 살아남아 있을 수 있다

 

but what i'm pointing to is not to try and make monumental moments out of your life,

but simply to find and recognize that spae within yourself which is unchanging in the face of changeful,

i don't say, be afraid of the changeful,

but when you meet the changeful from the place of identity as person wich itself is changeful,

you can't rely on what you perceive,

it is a field of dreams and imaging some,

and maybe we have collective consciousness that we can trade in the currency of our conditioning,

but i am only pointing you to find that within yourself

which is not a part of the traffic of thoughts and memories and projections and dreams and conditioning,

but observes them in their momentary here and gone-ness,

but you come to recognize

that you're wataching from a still place, and this place and yourself, it is as though they become one,

they're already one, but because of this feeling that we are the separate journeyer,

then it takes a while for us to really come to the recognition

that our intuitive sense of existence and that which i'm pointing to which is constant are one

 

하지만 내가 가리키는 것은

그대 삶의 기념비적 순간들을 만들려 하지 않는 것이다

단순하게, 변할 수 있는 것 앞에서 변하지 않는, 그대 자신 안의 공간을 찾고, 이해하는 것이다

 

나는 변화를 두려워해라, 라고 말하는 것이 아니다

하지만 그 자체가 변하는, 제한된 인식으로서의 동일시, 의 자리에서 변하는 것을 만날 때,

그대가 인식하는 것을 그대가 믿을 수 없다

그건 꿈과 상상의 영역이다

 

그리고 아마도 우리에게는 조건화 라는 통화로 거래를 할 수 있다는 집단 의식이 있을 수 있다,

하지만 나는 그대에게, 오로지 그대 자신 안에 있는 것을 가리킨다

생각과 기억, 투사, 꿈과 조건화 의 와글거림의 일부가 아닌 것,

그것들이 순간 여기에 있다가 가버리는 것을 바라봐라

그대가 고요한 곳에서 바라보면, 이 자리와 그대 자신이 마치 하나인 것 같은 것을 

그대가 알아차리게 된다

이미 하나이다, 하지만 우리가 분리된 여행자 라는 이 느낌 때문에,

우리의 존재에 대한 직관적 느낌과 내가 가리키는 변하지 않는 것이 하나인 것을

정말로 이해하는 데에는 시간이 좀 걸린다

 

when we come even to begin to understand that,

your life begins to flourish more beautifully,

and it is so powerful that in the space and the duration of time that we're together here,

your life can be transformed tremendously,

it's like you're winning yourself back,

coming home to your natural state

 

그것을 이제 이해하기 시작하는 때라도

그대의 삶은 보다 아름답게 피어나기 시작한다

그리고 너무 강력해서, 우리가 여기에 함께 있는 공간과 시간 동안,

그대의 삶이 엄청나게 변형될 수 있다

그대가 자신을 다시 돌려받듯

그대의 자연스러운 상태, 집으로 돌아온다

 

nothing you gain in this world,

it's eternal all things - formed elements, all of these are perishable,

this body that consciousness needs in order to taste experiencing, itself is a time body,

mind also is time bound,

only within your own being

that within which your very functioning of the senses, be interpreting the mind, the feeling itself are perceived also a phenomenal,

that which perceive them, when that is known onto itself, you're out of trap,

 

이 세상에서 그대가 얻을 건 아무것도 없다,

원소들로 만들어진 모든 것들, 이 모든 것들은 변하는 것이 영원하다

그것을 인식하는 그것, 그것이 스스로에게 알려질 때, 그대가 함정에서 빠져나간다

 

and yet it is not that it's a wicked trap,

why we must go through so much trouble? so much challenges? why?

if i say to you now, because of the love,

because you have the capacity for love,

because love is instint to you, intelligence is there with you,

before even the birth of the world,

the quintessence of your being existed

 

함정이라 해도, 사악한 것이 아니다

왜 우리는 너무나 많은 문제를 겪어야 하는가, 그렇게나 무수한 어려움들을? 왜?

내가 지금 그대에게, 사랑 때문에 라고 말을 한다면,

그대에게 사랑할 수 있는 역량이 있기 때문이다

사랑은 그대에게 본능이다, 지성은 그대와 함께 있다,

세상이 태어나기도 전에,

그대 존재의 본질은 존재했다

 

and you can know that even while in this body,

this i will put as the highest discovery in the human kingdom

and it is your chance,

for 1000 years, beings have been pondering on this question, 'who am i', why am i here',

many of them discovered,

many have to reborn to keep searching for that,

 

그리고 이 몸 안에 있는 동안에도, 그대가 알 수 있다

 

이것을 나는 인간 왕국에서 가장 높은 발견이라 할 것이다

그대의 기회이다

수 천 년 동안, 존재들이 이 질문을 숙고해왔다, '내가 누구인가', 나는 여기 왜 있는가',

but it's now your turn, our turn, we're the living wave of the human experience,

it's now our turn to look into this ancient opportunity and question to find out

what is reality of your existence, who are you, what is all this about

우리는 인간 경험의 살아있는 파장이다

이제 우리가 오랜 기회와 질문인 이것을 들여다 볼 차례이다,

그대 존재의 실제, 그대가 누구인지, 이 모든 게 무엇에 관한 것인지 를 찾아내야 한다

 

and thankfully, it is possible to discover that,

and you know what? it's not even difficult, it only appears to be difficult

because of this fascination of the consciousness, the dynamic consciousness

in accepting and believing and being attached to its identity as a person,

that is what can seem to be difficult, to give up what the person imagine, it owns,

 

그리고 감사하게도, 그것을 찾는 것이 가능하다

but i trust that it is the Grace of God brought you here to begin to look into this question 

and if you would allow the simple guidance to come into your heart,

so that you can begin to clarity and to confirm for yourself,

then you'll be able to live in the authority of your own discovery

rather than in speculation and hypothesis, projections, imagination,

no, you can discover and be free

 

엄청난 놀이이다

무엇이 그대를 이 곳으로 데려왓는지 모르겠다

하지만 신의 은총이 그대를 이 곳으로 데려와, 이 질문을 들여다보기 시작하도록 한 것을 신뢰한다

 

그리고 그대가 단순한 안내 를 그대의 가슴 안에 들어서도록 허용한다면,

그대 자신을 위해, 그대가 명확히 하고, 확인하기 시작할 수 있다

그 때, 그대는

그대 자신이 발견한 것의 권위로 살 수 있을 것이다

추측과 가정, 투사, 상상보다

 

아니다, 그대는 발견하고 자유로워질 수 있다

 

i don't feel i'm speaking any poetry to you,

every word that i speak with you is a seed to recognize something,

and we're still just warming up,

i know there's a being here, who can grasp this

and who have been already grasped this understanding,

and their life is bearing fruit in it,

they're not even attached to the fruit

 

나는 그대에게 시를 말하는 것으로 느끼지 않는다

내가 그대와 말을 하는 모든 단어가 무언가를 알아차릴 수 있는 씨앗이다

 

그리고 우리는 아직 그냥 준비운동 중이다,

나는 이 곳에 이것을 이해할 수 있는 존재가 있다는 것,

그리고 이미 이해한 이들,

그들의 삶이 그 결과를 내고 있다는 것을 안다,

그들은 그 결실에 집착도 하지 않는다

 

we all emerge from one common source,

to discovering of which, the blesses every aspect of your pexpression automatically,

saves you the trouble of having to cultivate them

 

우리 모두가 하나의 공통된 근원에서 나왔다

그것을 발견하는 것으로, 저절로 그대 표현의 모든 면에 축복이,

그대가 경작해야 할 문제들로부터 구해진다

 

it's all good qualities manifest spontaenously in state of awakening,

no one can do anything for perfection,

cannot be increased, cannot be decreased,

it can only be discovered,

깨어남의 상태에서는 모든 좋은 자질들이 즉시 드러난다

 

아무도 완벽을 위해 무언가를 할 수 없다

증가될 수 없는 것이다, 감소될 수 없는 것이다,

발견될 수 있을 뿐이다
