확신이 계속되지 않는다

진리는 그 자체로 명확하다

상상을 필요로 하지 않는다, 창조적 사고나 시각화를 필요로 하지 않는다

그건 충분히 명확하다

so this is not something that you're telling yourself,

saying, ' am the awareness, i am the awareness.

이건 그대가 그대 자신에게 말하는 것이 아니다

'나는 각성이다, 나는 각성이다' 라며

you know you are the awareness. so it's something stable there,

then you surprise me alittle bit, 'but it doesn't last.'

then i'm asking you, what doesn't last?

the awareness doesn't last?

그대는 그대가 깨어있음 이라는 것을 안다

그러니 그건 안정적인 것이다

그 다음 그대는 나를 약간 놀라게 했다,

'하지만 계속되지 않는다'

그러면 내가 묻는다, 무엇이 계속되지 않는가

깨어있음이 계속되지 않는가

awareness does not need any confirmation,

even confirmation or conviction is itself something arising in the awareness.

can we say like that? can we look at that?

those who have been looking into this, genuinely looking though, not imagining.

and i already said, i't s not necessary to imagine anything.

the truth is clear enough by itself.

it does not need imagination, does not need creative thinking or any kind of visualizing.

it's clear enough.

awareness 는 어떤 확인도 필요로 하지 않는다

확인이나 확신조차, 그 깨어있음 안에서 일어나는 것이다

우리가 이렇게 말해볼 수 있겠는가, 그것을 바라볼 수 있겠는가

이것을 들여다보아오던 이들은, 상상이 아니라 진정으로 바라봐오던 이들은,

그리고 이미 말했듯, 상상하는 것이 필요하지 않다

진리는 그 자체로 명확하다

상상을 필요로 하지 않는다, 창조적 사고나 시각화를 필요로 하지 않는다

그건 충분히 명확하다

you say, conviction doesn't last,

그대가 말한다, 확신이 계속되지 않는다

then who's conviction?

isn't conviction also another sense that you have which awareness is not conviction, isn't it?

그렇다면 누구의 확신?

확신 또한 그대가 갖는 느낌 아닌가

awareness 는 확신이 아니다, 그렇지 않은가

conviction now you can say, something feels really sure now, but actually now it's going.

확신, 그대가, 무언가 아주 확신에 찬 느낌이라고 말한다, 그런데 사실 지금 그것이 사라지고 있다 고

aren't you observing that also?

그대는 그것 또한 보고있지 않은가

are you commenting about awareness itself or some other thing?

그대는 깨어있음에 대해 말하는 것인가 아니면 그 외의 것에 대해 말하는 것인가

so this is very good that these things like what you're brought up,

that you bring them out,

so we can all look together

because as you're speaking, we have to ourselves introspect a little bit and look and see, is he right?, checking in.

이런 것들 아주 좋다

그대가 제시한 것과 같은 것들,

그대가 끄집어냈다

그래서 우리가 함께 볼 수 있다

그대가 말하면, 우리 자신이 들여다보아야 한다, 보고 그가 옳은지, 확인해야 한다

'something doesn't last'

'무언가 계속되지 않는다'

what is it that doesn't last, what is not eternal, doesn't last?

계속되지 않는 것이 무엇인가,

영원하지 않고, 지속되지 않는 것이

so even conviction i say, 

something more than conviction, something beyond even conviction,

whereby even conviction is observed.

so this final sort of seeing, you must confirm.

나는 확신조차,

확신 이상의 무언가이다, 확신조차 넘어서 있는 것이다

확신조차 바라보아지는 곳이다

그러니 이 죄종적 바라봄을, 그대가 확인해야 한다

don't combine awareness with any state however sublime

깨어있음을, 얼마나 숭고한 것이든 어떤 상태와도 결합시키지 마라
