'남는 것이 무엇인가'

 

you don't know

so what's on, left is unknown and it's not always what's left

so that doesn't change really, you just know it,

and that's kind of knowledge of the unknown

so there is a way we put ourselves in the little lullaby as if we won't know the future

but when you recognize it is unknown, you wake yourself out of that sleep,

you say that it's really unknown

and you face that consciously, it's like facing death

you don't know when death will come, you don't want that death comes, death is the big unknown,

so it is our stupid basic death

 

그대가 모른다?!

그래서 계속되는 것은, 남아 있는 것이 알려지지 않는다, 

그리고 남아있는 것이 항상 그런 것은 아니다

그래서 정말 변하는 것은 없다, 그대가 그것을 안다

 

그것이 '알려지지 않는 것'에 대한 앎과 같다

 

그래서

우리가 미래를 모르리라는 작은 자장가 안에, 우리를 두는 방식이 있다

하지만 그대가, 그것은 알려지지 않는다 라는 것을 알아차릴 때, 

그대는 그 잠에서 깨어난다

그대는 말한다, 그것은 정말 알려지지 않는다 라고

그리고 그것을 의식해서 마주한다, 죽음을 마주하는 것과 같다

그대는 죽음이 언제 올지 모른다, 죽음이 오는 것을 원하지 않는다, 죽음은 커다란, 알려지지 않음 이다

그런 것이 우리의, 바보같은 기본적 죽음이다

 

so you're willing to face the truth of the unknown you actually already have

and you're so right. it is terrifying because we have all these projections into the future of what we should be doing or we should not be doing

so it's simple truth, it's not always easy here of course because there're great forces, they arise to say, 'you have to, can't be that simple, can't be that easy'

but willingness to be naked

the naked of knowledge is true, you really know something

 

그래서 그것은 단순한 진리다, 물론 항상 여기에서 쉬운 것은 아니다

왜냐하면 커다란 힘들이 있다, 그것들이 일어나 말한다, '너는 해야 한다, 그렇게 간단한 것일 수 없다, 그렇게 쉬운 것일 수 없다'

하지만 기꺼이 벌거벗으려함,

앎에 대해 벌거벗음이 사실이다,

그대가 정말 안다는 것이다

그대는 자신을 발견했다

 

'그리고 그건 아주 겸손하게 만든다'

우리가 그냥 나르시시즘이라면, 부풀어오를 것이다, '내가, 나의 사랑을 받는 자다!' 라고

 

그냥 단순한 놀라움이다, 어떻게 그럴 수 있지

내가 찾던 것이 여기에 있다, 사랑하는 자, 사랑 받는 자가 여기에 있다

find yourself in yourself

you discovered where peace is

where fulfillment is, where home is, where you are

that's the wholeness of you, lover and beloved

God is so, tiring you whatever terminology is used

that's what was searched for

that's what has to be discovered

because that's the truth

 

진실되게 그것을 발견할 수 있어라

에너지가, 그것이 거대하다

깊이 편안하게 하는 것이 또한 불편할 수도 있다,

그냥 매일 일으켜지고, 내던져진다, 온 존재가 변한다, 올바른 쪽으로

 

이 삶이, 알려지지 않음 으로서 활용된 것을 봐라

사적으로, 공적으로, 알려지지 않은,

관계없다, 부가적이다

 

그대는 평화가 있는 곳을 발견했다

성취가 있는 곳, 집이 있는 곳, 그대가 있는 곳

 

그것이 그대의 전체성이다, 사랑하는 자와 사랑 받는 자

신 이 그렇다,

무슨 표현을 쓰든 그것을 닳게 한다

 

그것이 찾아지던 것이었다

그것이 발견되어야 하는 것이다

그것이 진리이기 때문에
