나는 통제와 지원 사이를 구분하고 싶다

통제 에의 주의로부터, 지원 에의 주의로의 이동으로

커다란 놓여남이 있다

통제를 벗어나 있는 존재의 완전함을 알아차린다

 

왜냐하면 정말,

통제하는 것, 통제하고 싶어하는 욕망, 통제가 된다는 환영, 통제가 되기를 바라는 희망,

모든 것이 그대가 그것을 안다는 생각, 결과가 무엇이어야 한다는 것을 안다는 과대 망상에 근거하기 때문이다

적어도 그대가 두 살 때로 돌아간다

그대가 원하는 것은, 있어야 하는 것이다

 

그래서 이것은 미성숙하다

(what's the mark of the spiritual maturity, what's the sign of spiritual maturity?)

 

it seems to me that at the basic level, it is the realization that you are not in control

this is of course shattering of realization

so at least from time the human beings are 2 years old, there is this belief in possiblity of control and fight for control,

and attention and energy on control

and obviously there are many things that can be controlled to a degree,

nothing can be controlled totally

bodily functions can be controlled to a degree

circumstances can be controlled to a degree

thoughts, emotions, positons, survival can be controlled to a degree

but finally cannot be controlled

 

영적인 성숙의 표시는 무엇인가, 라는 질문이 있었다

그대는 통제할 수 없다는 알아차림이다

이것은 물론 깨어남의 박살이다

 

적어도 인간 존재들이 두 살 인 때부터, 통제할 수 있다, 통제를 위해 싸울 수 있다는 믿음이 있다

분명히 어느 정도 통제될 수 있는 많은 것들이 있다

어떤 것도 완전히 통제될 수 없다

몸의 작용들은 어느 정도 통제될 수 있다

생각, 감정, 위치, 생존 은 어느 정도 통제될 수 있다

하지만 결국에는 통제될 수 없다

 

so i want to make a distinction between control and support

because there is great joy in supporting

and there is misery in this tendency to believe that one can control

so to support the health of the body, to support the health of the planet, to support the health of the other bodies,

this is joyous,

to support the awakening of all beings, this is joyous

and natural, a natural activity that is joyous

but to imagine that you can control the health of the body, that you can control the health of other bodies, that you can control the health of the planet, or that you can control the awakening of all beings,

this is suffering actually

because it takes enormous attention and energy away from supporting

 

그래서 나는 통제와 지원 사이를 구분하고 싶다

왜냐하면 지원하는데는 커다란 기쁨이 있다

그리고 비극이 있다, 통제할 수 있다고 믿는 습성에는

 

그래서 몸의 건강을 지원하는 것, 행성의 건강을 지원하는 것, 다른 몸들의 건강을 지원하는 것,

이것은 즐겁다

모든 존재들의 깨어남을 지원하는 것, 이것은 기쁘다

그리고 즐거운, 자연스러운 활동이다

 

하지만 그대가 몸의 건강을 통재할 수 있다, 다른 몸들의 건강을 통제할 수 있다, 행성의 건강을 통제할 수 있다, 혹은 모든 존재들의 깨어남을 통제할 수 있다 고 상상하는 것,

이것은 사실 고통이다

왜냐하면 그것에는 어마어마한 주의와 에너지가 든다, 지원에서 멀어지는데

 

so that the energy and the attention is always on the outcome, is always checking, 

is the body healthy, is their body healthy, is the planet healthy, are they waking up, am i waking up?

so always looking to some end rather than simply giving all that energy and attention to supporting the awakening, the health

 

에너지와 주의가 항상 결과에 있다, 항상 확인한다

몸이 건강한가, 그들의 몸이 건강한가, 행성이 건강한가, 그들이 깨어나는가, 내가 깨어나는가

항상 어떤 목적이 있다, 

단순하게, 깨어남, 건강을 지원하는데 모든 에너지와 주의를 주기 보다는

 

so in that shift from attention on the control to attention on the support, there is great release,

there is recognition of fullness of being out of control

because really in the being in control or desire to be in control or illusion of being in control, hope to be in control,

is all based on megalomania of thinking you know what it is, the outcome should be

at least goes back to when you're 2 years old

what you want is what it should be.

so this is immature, simply 

 

그래서 통제에의 주의에서, 지원에의 주의로의 이동으로

통제하는 것, 통제하고 싶어하는 욕망, 통제가 된다는 환영, 통제가 되기를 바라는 희망,

모든 것이 그대가 그것을 안다는 생각, 결과가 무엇이어야 한다는 것을 안다는 과대 망상에 근거하기 때문이다

적어도 그대가 두 살 때로 돌아간다

그대가 원하는 것은, 있어야 하는 것이다

 

그래서 이것은 미성숙하다

 

with the mystery of maturity or the mystery of shattering of illusion of control,

ironically it is upside of aging

because haven't much you did it right, finally in the body begins to decay

and so - great advances in medicines will perhaps the body will not decay as fast 

or the great discoveries in misuse of the body that can be shifted, so the decay does not happen as fast

but the truth is, the whole planet is also in that decay

so of course we can--, go to another planet

why not, no problem with that

but if this is all supported by the illusion of control rather than the truth, possibility of true support all of that,

then when we go to the other planet and when our body is made to live for 400 or 500, 000 years,

there will simply be 400 or 500,000 years of suffering,

rather than the joy of one's being

 

성숙의 신비, 통제에 대한 환영의 부서짐의 신비와 관련하여

그것은 얄굿게도 노화의 괜찮은 면이다

단지 400,000 혹은 500,000 년의 고통일 것이다

존재의 기쁨이기 보다

 

i'm not anti-scientist, anti-discovery at all

i've been very interested in it

but my attention is on suporting the awakening of what doesn't need to be extended, of what doesn't need to decay, of what doesn't need to be physically well, to be truly free

 

나는 과학자를 반대하는 것이 아니다, 발견을 반대하는 것이 아니다, 전혀

아주 관심 있어 왔다

하지만 나의 주의는,

진실로 자유롭기 위해 연장될 필요 없는 것, 부패할 필요 없는 것, 물리적으로 건강할 필요 없는 것의 깨어남을 지원하는 것에 있다

 

and we have met by some set of mysterious circumstances

so that we can support that in one another, so that we can recognize the possiblity to discover the truth of no control, is the opportunity to realize what doesn't need to be controlled,

to be free, to be happy, to recognize itself

 

그리고 우리는 신비로운 환경들에 의해 만나졌다

자유롭기 위해, 행복하기 위해, 그 자신을 알아차리기 위해

우리는 서로 지원할 수 있다,

통제 없는 진리를 발견할 수 있는 가능성을 이해할 수 있다,

통제될 필요 없는 것을 알아차릴 수 있는 기회이다
