이 세상에서 누가 제한된 인식이 그들이 아니라 생각하는가

i asked just now, came here and what was contemplation today?

and the response came, it was a prayer

what is the prayer

so it says, to offer up everything that is not you

first part

 

나는 그냥 여기에 와서 물었다, '오늘 무엇이 숙고였는가

그리고 응답이, 기도였다 고

'그대가 아닌 모든 것을 바친다' 고 하는

 

이것이 첫번째 부분이다

 

second part, rid me of ego and merge me with you

 

두번째 부분, 

'나에게서 에고를 없애달라, 그리고 당신과 나를 합쳐달라'

 

so go back, first part

offer up everything that is not you

how do we go about that?

first you have to know what is not you

 

돌아가서, 첫번째 부분

 

그대가 아닌 모든 것을 바친다,

우리는 어떻게 그렇게 하는가

먼저, 그대는 그대가 아닌 것을 알아야 한다

 

this part of prayer, anybody accept it?

then if you accept it, tell me what is not you

what did you offer up

 

기도의 이 부분, 그것을 받아들이는 자는 누구인가

그러면 그대가 그것을 받아들인다면, 내게 그대가 아닌 것을 말해달라

그대는 무엇을 바쳤는가

 

'identity'

 

'동일시'

 

let's go straight to bull's eye actually

 

과녁으로 바로 가자

 

remember i said one time that if you go to the sea to catch fish, you go with one hook, one line, one worm to catch one fish

if you have a boat, you can go out, with a net, you can get

some go out more, bigger boat, they get hundreds of fishes

--

but i said, who is the fisherman will go with one hook and catch the whole ocean?

 

내가 한 번 말한 것을 기억하는가

 

그대가 물고기를 잡으러 바다로 간다, 바늘 하나를 갖고 간다, 하나의 낚시줄, 하나의 벌래로 하나의 물고기를 잡기 위해

 

그대가 보트를 갖고 있다면, 그대는 나갈 수 있다, 그물 하나를 갖고, 잡을 수 있다

 

더 큰 보트로 나가는 이들이 있다, 그들은 무수한 물고기를 잡는다

하지만 나는 말했다, 하나의 낚시 바늘로 온 바다를 잡을 낚시꾼은 누구인가

 

and i don't want you to be enetertained by things that i speak to you

because some people are like that, maybe we have developed a certain spiritual intellect or spiritual persona,

and we kind of hear these things and it's delightful,

but maybe it goes no further

what i share is not to enjoy, not to suffer

but to reflect and to verify

if indeed your seeming serach for truth is really genuine, if it's really authentic,

it will not stop at the, 'ah sounds almost poetic'

 

그리고 나는 그대가 내가 그대에게 말하는 것들로 놀이하길 바라지 않는다

어떤 사람들은 그와 같다, 아마 어느 정도의 영적 지력이나 영적인 사람이란 것을 성장시켰을 것이다,

그리고 이런 것들을 듣는다, 즐겁다,

하지만 아마도 더 나아가지는 못할 수 있다

내가 나누는 것은 즐기자는 것이 아니다, 고통스럽자는 것이 아니다

비추어 보고 확인하는 것이다

 

사실 그대가 진리를 찾는 것으로 보이는 것이 정말로 진심이라면, 정말이라면,

'아 시 처럼 들리는구나' 의 정도에서 멈추지 않을 것이다

 

who is the fisherman? what is the ocean?

what is the one hook?

why am i telling story like this in satsang?

 

낚시꾼은 누구인가, 바다는 무엇인가

하나의 낚시 바늘이 무엇인가

왜 내가 사트상에서 이런 이야기를 하고 있는가

 

with one hook to catch the whole ocean

but when i speak, it's not just for fun, of course i enjoy also, but is not the point

 

하나의 바늘로 온 바다를 잡는다,

하지만 내가 말할 때, 그것은 그냥 재미로 하는 것이 아니다,

물론 즐겁기도 하다, 하지만 그것이 가리킴은 아니다

 

i just wanted to know, if we hear things like this,

because it is common in an environment where matters of spirit are spoken about, there's an enjoyment

love the feeling also, energetically vibration is more high, more simple, it's not putting on top of you 2, 3 or 4 burdens to even to fulfill

so there is element of joy in that but if i were to say to you,

 

나는 그냥 알고 싶었다, 우리가 이런 것들을 듣는다면,

왜냐하면 영적인 문제들이 말해지는 환경에서는 흔한 것이기 때문이다, 즐거움이 있다,

그 느낌 또한 몹시 좋아한다, 에너지상 진동이 보다 높다, 보다 단순하다,

성취하기 위해 2, 3 혹은 4 의 짐을 그대 위에 얹지 않는다

 

one fisherman, one hook, one fish, happy one meal

with a boat, hundreads of fishes

with a huge fishing ship, thousands of fishes

but who is the fisherman who with one hook, catch the entire ocean?

 

한 명의 낚시꾼, 하나의 바늘, 하나의 물고기, 행복한 한끼 식사

보트 하나, 수백의 물고기

거대한 어선으로, 무수한 물고기

 

하지만 하나의 바늘로, 온 바다를 잡는 낚시꾼은 누구인가

 

and if you have been listening, i'm really sayng same kind of story in many different way

sometimes a story, sometimes history, sometimes calling, sometimes pointing, sometimes confrontation also

 

그리고 그대가 들어왔다면, 나는 정말 같은 이야기를 무수히 다른 식으로 말하고 있다

때로는 이야기, 때로는 역사, 때로는 부름, 때로는 가리킴, 때로는 대면 또한

 

''offer up all that is not you'',

do you know what you are?

how will you start?

and before we can get anywhere, she says, 'personal identity'

 

''그대가 아닌 모든 것을 바친다'',

그대는 그대인 것을 아는가

그대는 어떻게 시작할 것인가

그리고 우리가 어느 곳에 이르기 전에, 그녀가, '제한된 인식에의 동일시' 라고 말한다

 

you offer the personal identity, 

but he decide, 'i'm not going'

the thief  makes more noise when he is caught

he makes no noise when he is trying to catch you

the thief is coming

 

그대는 제한된 인식의 동일시를 바친다,

하지만 그는, '나는 가지 않겠다' 고 결정한다

도둑은 잡힐 때, 더 많은 소음을 낸다

그는 그가 그대를 잡으려 할 때에는 소음을 내지 않는다

 

도둑이 나타난다,

when you catch him,

 

그대가 그를 잡을 때, (울럴러럴-----------)

you got him,

so when you catch him, he's going to make more noise, isn't it?

and if he make more noise, other theives will go hiding

but will the police be intimidated by this noise?

wii the judge be intimidated by this noise?

will jail be intimidated by this noise?

 

그대는 그를 잡았다

그대가 그를 잡을 때, 그는 더 많은 소음을 낼 것이다, 그렇지 않은가

그리고 그가 더 많은 소음을 내면, 다른 도둑들이 가서 숨을 것이다

하지만 경찰은 이 소음으로 침해받을까

판사는 이 소음으로 침해받을까

감옥이 이 소음으로 침해받을까

 

but you caught something, you say,

as soon as this is seen, then hooo, all these things are coming up

with this level of attention in you and earnestness, you'll not willing to let any theif in your house

when you catch a thief, he pretends like he's bringing something back to you

in this house, when you catch the theif, 

but you're not letting anyone 

so noise come

and what are you going to do about it?

 

하지만 그대는 무언가를 잡았다, 

 

그대가 말한다,

'이것이 보이자마자, 후---, 이런 모든 것들이 나타난다'

 

그대 안에서 이런 정도의 주의와 진지함으로, 그대는 어떤 도둑도 그대의 집 안에 들이려하지 않을 것이다

그대가 도둑을 잡으면, 그는 무언가를 그대에게 되돌려주는 척한다

이 집에서, 그대가 도둑을 잡을 때, 하지만 그대는 어느 누구도 들이지 않는다

그래서 소음이 나타난다

그리고 그것에 대해 그대는 무엇을 할 것인가

 

who in this world thinks personal identity is not them?

how rare

but you catch something, you said 'personal identity' and immediately big noise

 

이 세상에서 누가 제한된 인식이 그들이 아니라 생각하는가

드물다

하지만 그대는 무언가를 잡는다, 그대는 '제한된 인식에의 동일시' 라고 말했다, 그리고 바로 커다란 소음이

 

you have already exposed i'm not that

because how long has that been your identity?

 

그대는 이미 '나는 그것이 아니다' 라 폭로했다

왜냐하면 얼마나 오래 그것이 그대의 정체성이어 왔는지
