광대함은 인식의 대상인가

where did even the sense of vastness come from?

maybe for human being, they may look up the sky, they're told,

in any direction you go, can you come to the end of this?

and some of them may say, 'no, can't come to the end'

is there the edge of universe beyond which what will be there?

can you come to the end of the space? the edge of the space beyond which is what? no space?

 

광대함의 느낌이라는 것도 어디에서 왔는가

아마 인간 존재들,

그들이 하늘을 쳐다보고, 이런 말을 듣는다,

네가 어느 방향으로 가든, 이것의 끝에 이를 수 있는가

 

그리고 그들 중에서, '아니다, 끝에 이를 수 없다'라 하는 이들이 있을 것이다

우주의 끝이 있는가, 그것을 넘어서는 무엇이 있을까

그대는 공간의 끝에 이를 수 있는가,

공간의 끝, 그것을 넘어서는 무엇인가, 공간 아님인가

 

so even those questions, god give some questions for human beings to ask that has so completely overwhelmed their intellect,

that they have to admit actually they don't know, cannot know

the spiritual man doesn't want to know what are so called facts of science or mathmatics

actually pure science goes to a point where it can only merge into the unknown

they have to come to the edge of spirituality for the scientist, not for the science

because all we study is for search for self

you cannot find something fatual and objective world that doesn't comply to you

 

이런 질문들,

신이 인간 존재들에게 질문하도록 내준다, 그들의 지력을 완전히 압도하는 것을

그들은 인정해야 한다, 사실 그들은 모른다, 알 수 없다고

영적인 사람은, 과학이나 수학의 사실이라 하는 것을 알고 싶어하지 않는다

사실 순수 과학은, 그것이 알려지지 않은 것으로 합쳐질 수 있을 뿐인 지점에 이른다

그들은 영적인 것의 가장자리에 이르러야 한다, 과학자는, 과학은

왜냐하면 우리가 공부하는 모든 것이 자신을 찾기 위함이므로

그대는 사실적이고 객관적인 세상인 무언가를 발견할 수 없다

 

so it is a beautiful question and quest

it's like a question that cannot be answered in a physical sense but leads to a realization

 

그래서 아름다운 질문이고, 탐사다

물리적인 느낌으로 답해질 수 없는, 하지만 알아차림으로 이끄는 질문과 같다

 

that's what compounds the mentalists,

because they rely upon the mental faculty to solve their so called philosophical intellect scientific mathmatic questions

and if they really admit it, they're stuck

they can only postulate

they cannot verify through any experience

because actually all knowledge is meant to discover yourself

 

유물론자들을 이루는 것,

그들은 그들의 철학적 지적 과학적 수학적 질문들을 해결하기 위해, 정신적 역량에 의존한다

그들이 정말로 인정한다면, 그들은 막힌다

그들은 가정할 수 있을 뿐이다

어떤 경험을 통해서도 확인할 수 없다

사실 모든 앎은 그대 자신을 발견하기 위한 것이다

 

i said that before, 

the vastness is perceived by the mind is not the true vastness

the vastness in which the mind itself is seen, that is the vastness

the mind meaning, even the seeker, the quest, the search, everything like this

is inside the vastness

the seeker has disvored the vastness that is himself

where there is no two vastness

 

이전에 말한 적 있다,

마음에 의해 인식되는 광대함은 진짜 광대함이 아니다

광대함, 그 안에서 마음 그 자체가 보이는, 그것이 광대함이다

마음이란, 찾는 자, 탐사, 탐색, 이런 모든 것이 광대함 안에 있다

찾는 자는 광대함을 발견하고, 그것이 그 자신이다

두 개의 광대함이 없는 곳

 

there cannot be the two vastnesses

there cannot be the two limitlessness

all that even man can comprehend and even have the curiosity to raise this question

is already the hint from god

 

두 개의, 광대함이 있을 수 없다

두 개의, 제한 되어 있지 않음이 있을 수 없다

인간이 이해할 수도 있고, 이런 질문을 일으킬 호기심을 갖는 것도

이미 신으로부터의 암시다
