그대의 삶에서는 즉흥적인 것이 얼마나 가치 있는가

 

충동과 직관 사이에는 차이가 있다

마음은, 이런 즉흥성은 충동이다 라 말하곤 한다

하지만 그대는 그 차이를 알아야 한다

직관이란, 근원에 깊이 연결되어 있다, 그리고 아주 삶과 친하다는 뜻이다

충동이란, 불안함과 불안정함이다

how important is the spontaneity?

because it is not promoted in our life

in much of the culture we're aware of, spontaneity seems like it is irresponsible

has anybody experienced maybe some of the attitude like this?

like 'i don't know what i'm going to do' - 'what?!! you should know what you're going to do'

so pressure is there

sometimes even to children, 8, 9 years of old, they know what carrer they should be doing, or dropping back

so we're under a strong cultural assault

that the space that true human life needs to breathe and to allow the god's presence to awaken in you

 

즉흥성은 얼마나 중요한가

 

왜냐하면 그것은 우리 삶에서 활성화되지 않는 것이므로

문화의 많은 부분에서, 우리가 즉흥성으로 인식하는 것은, 무책임한 것처럼 보인다

 

이런 태도를 좀 경험해 본 이 있는가

 

가령 '난 뭘 할 지 모르겠다'

- '뭐라고?! 네가 뭘 할 지 네가 알아야지'

 

압박이 있다

때로는 아이들에게도, 8, 9 살의 그들은 무슨 일을 해야 할 지 안다, 그렇지 않으면 뒤떨어진다

우리는 강한 문화적 '폭행' 아래 있다

 

진짜 인간의 삶은

숨 쉬기 위한, 신의 현존이 그대 안에서 깨어나도록 하기 위한 공간을 필요로 한다

 

'you should, you should, you should',

not even you chould, you should

should has less space than could

 

'넌 해야지, 해야지, 해야지',

할 수 있기도 하다 도 아니다, 해야 한다

해야 한다 는 할 수도 있다 보다 공간이 적다

 

here i can put this question, how valuable is spontaneity in your life?

 

여기에서는 내가 이 질문을 할 수 있다,

그대의 삶에서 즉흥성이 얼마나 가치 있는가

 

is difference between impulsive and intuitive

sometimes the mind says that this kind of spontaneity is impulsiveness,

but you must know the difference

intuitive means, deeply connected to source and very conversant with life

impulsive means, restless and ungrounded, like a thought popping in your head,

i have spoken with people that every thought comes into the head, becomes an order,

a though come, 'that guy is not good', you start to look,

 

충동과 직관 사이에는 차이가 있다

마음은, 이런 즉흥성은 충동이다 라 말하곤 한다

하지만 그대는 그 차이를 알아야 한다

직관이란, 근원에 깊이 연결되어 있다, 그리고 아주 삶과 친하다는 뜻이다

충동이란, 불안함과 불안정함이다, 

마치 생각이 그대의 머리 안에서 튀면,

머리 안으로 들어오는 생각마다, 명령이 되는 사람들과 말한 적 있다

'저 사람은 좋지 않다'라는 생각이 온다,

(위아래로 흘기는 식으로) 바라보기 시작한다

행동으로 옮기기 시작한다

 

so there is power, god given power in everybody is largely unexplored

the sangha field re offer that space that taste it and see, 

is this nourishing or nurturing? or is this restrictive?

that is respecting life

find out about your potential

 

모두의 안에 신에게서 받은 힘이 있다, 대개는 탐험되지 않는

 

공동체의 장은 다시 그 공간을 내준다, 그것을 맛보고 봐라,

양분을 주는 것인가, 아니면 제한하는 것인가

 

그것이 삶을 존중하는 것이다

그대의 잠재성에 관해 발견하는 것

 

because yourself as a soul, as a living being, everybody will leave their body

but something in you that you cannot leave, and it will always be eternal

and while you have breath, find out what it is

not here (head), find out here (heart)

that's what i'm remidning

then i said to you, very respectfully, very privately, 

if you feel an urge inside your heart to open up to the possibility of this integral discovery,

then you may say yes, but not with your mouth

and it is heard in the universal consciousness

 

영혼으로서, 살아있는 한 존재로서의 그대 자신,

모두 이 몸을 떠날 것이다

하지만 그대 안의 무언가는 그대가 떠날 수 없다, 그리고 그것은 항상 영원할 것이다

숨 쉬는 동안, 그것이 무엇인지 발견해라

머리에서가 아니라, 가슴에서 찾아라

 

그것이 내가 떠올리게 하는 것이다

그런 다음 아주 존중하며, 아주 내밀하게 말한다,

그대의 가슴 안에서 이 중요한 발견의 가능성에 열고 싶은 열망을 느낀다면,

그러면 그대는 예스 라 할 수 있다, 하지만 입으로가 아니다

그리고 그것은 전체 의식에서 들린다

 

our life and mind should not be tight

sometimes we are living with too many concepts

concepts are fine, but when you are identified with that strongly,

they get locked in, and your soul cannot breathe

 

우리 삶과 마음은 죄여서는 안 된다

때때로 우리는 너무 많은 개념들을 갖고 산다

개념들은 괜찮다, 하지만 그대가 그것과 강하게 동일시될 때,

그것들은 갇힌다, 그리고 그대의 영혼은 숨을 쉴 수 없다

 

all the beings who became liberated in the human existence came back to vastness

yourself is vastness, unbound,

beautiful, loving, radiant, kind, quiet, compassionate, wise, intuitive

they discover the spontaneous existence

is not outside of them

 

인간 존재에서 자유로워진 모든 존재들은 광대함으로 돌아갔다

그대 자신은 광대하다, 경계가 없다,

아름답다, 사랑스럽다, 빛을 낸다, 친절하다, 고요하다, 자비롭다, 현명하다, 직관적이다

그들은 즉흥적 존재를 발견한다

그들 밖에 있지 않다

 

spontaneous existence does not mean you cannot use your mind

but now your mind is inside your heart

i call it heart mind

 

즉흥적 존재는 그대가 그대의 마음을 사용할 수 없다는 뜻이 아니다

하지만 이제 그대의 마음은 그대의 가슴 안에 있다

나는 그것을 가슴의 마음이라 한다

 

if you don't accept, you can say no, this is your freedom, wonderful

and god does not force anything on you

whatever force of things we are experiencing,

in fact, sometimes we exercise our will, and you forget that somehow we're living in our choices

and you may say that the universal consciousness occasionally has to release a little bit of your karmic account,

and you feel you can autocorrect

 

그대가 받아들이지 않는다고 한다면, 아니 라고 할 수 있다, 

이것은 그대의 자유다, 멋지다

그리고 신은 그대에게 어떤 것도 강요하지 않는다

우리가 경험하는 것들의 무슨 힘이든,

사실, 우리는 우리 의지를 실행한다, 그리고 어떻든 우리는 우리 선택들로 살고 있다는 것을 잊는다

그리고 때때로 전체 의식은 그대 업의 계좌를 좀 방출해야 한다고도 말할 수 있겠다

그리고 그대는 자동교정을 느낄 수 있다

 

he's very wise

nobody can trick him

 

그는 아주 현명하다

아무도 그를 속일 수 없다
