그대가 경험할 필요가 있는 것에 적합한 몸 안에 태어났다

상황이 뜨겁고 고통스러워질 때, 현명한 자가 하는 것은

그대의 주의를 가슴 안으로 돌리는 것일 것이다

달아나기 위해서가 아니다, 회피가 아니다, 유일하게 있는 곳에 있기 위함이다

how do we cope,

when the reality of what is so painful

우리가 어떻게 대처해야할까

있는 현실이 고통스러울 때

only when your mind is driven back into the source,

그대의 마음이 근원으로 돌려질 때에만

can you bear it?

because your eyes will be transformed also

and you'll see with the eyes of your heart rather than the eyes of your mind

그걸 견딜 수 있겠는가

왜냐면 그대의 눈이 달라질 것이다

그대 마음의 눈으로 보다 그대 가슴의 눈으로 보게 될 것이다

not easy to explain these things,

because our sensors are in the senses and in imagination and memory and desire and attachment,

all these shape the way which we experience the world we think we live

이런 것들을 설명하는 것은 쉽지 않다

우리가 감지하는 것은, 감각과 상상, 기억, 욕망, 집착 안에서이다

이런 것들이, 우리가 산다고 생각하는 세상을 우리가 경험하는 방식이다

we must feel and we will hurt,

if you're true and you have a living heart, you'll hurt to see what is coming up,

but behind that is great knowing and it's not speculative, it's not imagined,

it has a power, a power that has transcended effects of any dream or any nightmare,

the power of the real,

우린 느껴야 하고, 아플 것이다

그대가 진실하고, 살아있는 가슴을 갖고 있다면, 일어나는 것에 그대가 아플 것이다

하지만 그 뒤에는 커다란 앎이 있다, 그리고 그건 생각이 아니다, 상상된 것이 아니다

그것에 힘이 있다, 어떤 꿈이나 악몽의 영향력이든 변화시킬 수 있는 힘,

진짜의 힘이다

i can't explain that, i can only invite you inside,

you cannot fix your eyes on the things of this world,

you'll be deeply destructed

난 그걸 설명할 수 없다, 그대를 안으로 초대할 수 있을 뿐이다

그대는 그대의 눈을 이 세상의 것들에 고정시켜둘 수 없다

그대가 깊이 파괴될 것이다

the reflex of the wise is when things get hot and painful, 

they'll turn your attention inside to the heart,

not to run away, not to escape but it's to be in only true place there is

상황이 뜨겁고 고통스러워질 때, 현명한 자가 하는 것은

그대의 주의를 가슴 안으로 돌리는 것일 것이다

달아나기 위해서가 아니다, 회피가 아니다, 유일하게 있는 곳에 있기 위함이다

if you're looking only our through flashly eyes and through phenomenal senses,

your judgements will not be true.

if you're looking out only from cultural conditioning, your assessments will not be true

그대가 오로지 깜빡이는 눈을 통해서만, 현상적인 감각을 통해서만 바라본다면,

그대의 판단은 진실하지 못할 것이다

그대가 문화적 조건화에서만 바라본다면, 그대의 평가는 옳지 않을 것이다

so in these times, i still see that our pains, our challenges, our struggles are powerful tools, opportunities for us to find what is real.

그래서 이런 시대에라도, 나는 우리의 고통, 어려움, 싸움이 우리가 진짜인 것을 별견할 수 있도록 하는 강력한 도구, 기회라고 본다

don't think you're born in a wrong age, you're born at a right time for what you need to transcend,

you're born in a right body for what you need to experience

and for what the consciousness is chosen to be in that form to experience those things to wake up

그대가 잘못된 시대에 태어났다고 생각하지 마라

그대가 변형시킬 것을 위해 적합한 때에 태어났다

그대가 경험할 필요가 있는 것에 적합한 몸 안에 태어났다

그리고 의식이 그 형상 안에서, 그런 것들을 경험해, 깨어나도록 선택했다

and we're not abandoned,

it's we who abandon ourselves, our own heart, our own self,

we've not done it deliberately,

it's part of the game,

say play or dream and this is why in some cultures, it's called a dream of god, the play of God

우린 버려지지 않았다

우리가 우리 자신을, 우리 자신의 가슴을, 우리 자신을 버렸다

일부러 그런 것은 아니다

게임의 일부이다

놀이나 꿈이라고도 한다

이래서 어떤 문화에서는, 신의 꿈, 신의 놀이라고 불린다
