그대의 존재는 존재와 있도록 두어라, 그리고 단지 여기 에 있어라

all things are passing, except you

even your personality is passing

when you are still enough, you're able to verify it is so

but if you are easily conquered by fleeting states, then we keep on being beggars

모든 것들이 지나간다, 그대를 제외하고

 

그대의 성격조차 지나간다

 

그대가 충분히 고요할 때, 그것이 그렇다고 확인할 수 있다

하지만 그대는 지나가는 상태들에 의해 쉽게 정복된다,

how empty can you become?

then you'll see it turns into blessing

if you drop anything, if you don't pick up anything new, what remains?

몸부림치며 빠져나오려 한다면,

즉시 줄 수 있는 조언, 모든 것을 놓아라

어떤 것이든 놓는다, 새로운 것을 집어들지 않는다 고 하면

무엇이 남아있는가

 

봐라

 

something that cannot be picked up and cannot be dropped is there

underlying all states,

all states are changeful

you find you can say, you come to a stateless state

if you want to call it even state

how long will it take?

집어들 수 없고, 놓을 수 없는 것이 있다

모든 상태들 아래에

상태들은 모두 변한다

그대가 상태 없는 상태에 이른다고 할 수도 있겠다

그것을 상태라고 부른다 하면

 

그러는데 얼마나 걸릴까

그대의 마음을 재정비해야 할 필요 없다

 

the more you believe what's happening with you, we have to learn to drop

leave your existence with existence, and remain only here

그대에게 일어나고 있는 것을 믿을수록,

그것을 놓는 법을 배워야 한다

놓는다 란, 바닥에 내던진다는 뜻이 아니다
