그대가 있기 위해 무엇을 해야 하는가

 

 

is appearing to believening that you are the self,

and feeling that i know that i am the self, is nothing i have to do

 

그대가 자신 이라 믿는 것으로 나타나는 것,

그리고 

'나는 자신이다, 할 것이 없다' 라는 것을 안다 라는 느낌

 

that's a very dangerous assumption

because then the self is held as like a state that we believe we are

but actually such one, everything flows from emptiness,

the background of that voice is total emptiness

that's why sage can speak

and it is totally natural that it is the self itself that is manifesting as a light, light consciousnes,

that expresses love, satoric teachings to enable those souls who are still held in the grip of some identity,

to take that knowledge that releases from the grip of ego

 

그것은 아주 위험한 추정이다

왜냐하면 그러면 자신은 우리라 믿는 어떤 상태에 갇혀 있는 것과 같다

하지만 실제로 그런 자는,

모든 것이 비어 있음에서 흘러 나온다

그 목소리의 배경은 완전한 비어 있음이다

 

그래서 현자가 말할 수 있다

빛, 빛 의식으로 드러나 보이는 것이 자신인 것은 완전히 자연스럽다,

사랑을 표현하고,

깨어난 가르침으로 아직 어떤 동일시에 장악되어 있는 영혼들이,

그 앎을 받아들여 에고의 장악에서 놓여나도록 한다

 

i don't think anyone can talk about the pure self

we can say, pure self is not that

but it's only to switch off the identity to transcend

until that puzzles dry up

that arrogance, ignorance has no more life to expressing as 'i believe, i know, --'

 

난 순수한 자신에 대해 누가 말할 수 있다고 생각하지 않는다

우리는, 순수한 자신은 그것이 아니다 라 말할 수 있다

하지만 그것으로 동일시를 끄고, 변형시키기 위함일 뿐이다

그 혼돈이 다 마를 때까지

그 자만, 무지가, '난 믿는다, 나는 안다, --'로 표현하는데서 더 이상의 삶을 갖지 못할 때까지

 

it becomes clear, self is always here

but it's not anymore just knowledge

 

점점 분명해진다

자신 은 언제나 여기에 있다

하지만 그것은 더 이상 아는 것일 뿐이 아니다

 

the form is not trouble

the identification with the form and belief, 'i am this person', gives rise some pride or insecurity,

is itself thte beginning of ignorance as a supply root for food

 

형상은 문제가 아니다

형상과의 동일시와 '난 이런 사람이다'라는 믿음,

어떤 자부심이나 불안을 일으키는 것,

그것 자체가 무지의 시작이다, 양분의 공급원이다

 

in the seeing of that, something drops away

 

그것을 보는데서, 무언가 떨어진다

 

a wordless knowledge

this is why a form of sage is also called knowledge

because they are so immersed in that knowledge

mere seeing of a being has an impact before you speak knowledge

the presence of the sage is itself, is an impartation of grace

 

말 없는 앎

이래서 현자의 형상 또한 앎이라 불린다

왜냐하면 그들은 그 앎에 너무나 잠겨 있다

한 존재를 단지 보는 것이, 그 존재가 말하기 이전에 영향력을 갖는다

현자의 현존 그 자체가, 은혜로움의 전달이다

 

simply sitting and empting one's mind of intentions, identity,

this is higher than trying to get knowledge

what do you have to do to be?

 

단순히 앉아서, 마음의 의도, 동일시를 비우는 것이

앎을 얻으려 애쓰는 것보다 높다

그대가 있기 위해 무엇을 해야 하는가

 

empty,

whatever arises within you within the space of being,

just disregard that right now

we're not going after the knowledge now

we're going after a knower

until you come to realization that you are, beyond the character of self, and birthless

 

비운다 란

그대 안에서, 존재의 공간 안에서 무엇이 일어나든

지금은 그것을 그냥 무시한다

 

앎을 쫓지 않는다

아는 자를 쫓는다

그대인 것을 알아차릴 때까지, 특성을 벗어나 있는, 그리고 탄생이 없는
