힘은 그대의 겸손함, 그대의 열려있음 과 정직 을 통해 온다

그대의 주의를 자주 차지하고, 그대가 쉽게 방해를 받는 것들은,

이런 힘들이 올 때, 우리가 바라볼 수 있다,

그대는 어떻게 그렇게 할 수 있는지, 어떻게 자유로워질 수 있는지를 묻는다

so let's begin like this,

no one can exist with no desire at all, life itself is a desire,

but what the master is pointing to 

is attachment to desires, deep emotional, psychological identified attachment to desire,

desire for food, desire for exercise, desire to be in the company of friends to enjoy,

these don't leave any bad smell in the consciousness,

이렇게 시작해보자

아무도 전혀 아무런 욕망 없이 존재할 수 없다, 삶 자체가 욕망이다

하지만 스승이 가리키고 있는 것은

욕망에 대한 집착이다

깊이 감정적, 심리적으로 동일시된 욕망에의 집착

음식에 대한 욕구, 운동에 대한 욕구, 친구들과 어울리고 싶은 욕구,

이것들이 의식에 나쁜 냄새를 남기는 것이 아니다

but desires which lead to craving,

desires which are about neediness, 

the sense that one cannot exist happily without getting the things that one projects,

such desires, they are not in support of your freedom

갈망으로 이끄는 욕망,

궁핍하게 필요로 하는 욕구,

투사하는 그것들 없이는 행복하게 있을 수 없다는 느낌,

그런 욕망들, 그것들은 그대의 자유를 지지하지 않는다

this is what he means,

but natural desires, desires to take a rest when you're tired,

the desire to go walking spontaneously there's feeling arise in you,

the desire to exercise, the desire to be in company of particularly of righteous people,

these desires, they don't harm you,

they're also called desires, 

이것이 스승이 뜻하는 것이다

하지만 자연스러운 욕구들, 피곤할 때 쉬고 싶다는 욕구,

즉흥적으로 그대 안에서 일어나는 산책을 가고 싶다는 욕망,

운동을 하고 싶은 욕구, 특정하게 분별력 있는 사람들과 있고 싶다는 욕망,

이런 욕망들, 이것들은 그대를 해롭게 하지 않는다

이것들 또한 욕망이라 불린다

so it is good to differentiate, to discern what the master speak,

if he just speaks, desires. is not good, then it means human intellect and the natural reciprocal play with life is not good,

because desire is also there, desire for particular kind of food, can be called the desire,

but if doesn't lead to attachment to neediness, to greed, then it is not harmful

그러니 스승이 말하는 것을 구별, 분별하는 것이 좋다

만일 그가 그냥 욕망은 안 좋은 것 이라 말한다면, 인간의 지력과 삶과의 자연스러운 상응이 좋지 않다고 하는 것이 된다

욕망 또한 있다, 

특정 음식에 대한 욕망, 욕망이라 불릴 수 있다

하지만 그것이 궁핍한 필요, 탐욕에 대한 집착으로 이끌어가지 않으면, 해롭지 않다

so again what master's meaning is that

the desire which is constantly thinking about,

because we can have a desire whereby there's no space for other things to fruit through your space,

because constantly you're looking for a way of fulfilling your desires

그래서 다시, 스승이 의미하는 것은

끊임없이 그것에 대해 생각하는 욕망이다

그러느라 그대의 공간을 통해 결실을 맺을 다른 것들을 위한 공간이 없을 수 있다

그대가 끊임없이 그대의 욕망을 이룰 방법을 찾으려하기 때문이다

and he's pointing to say, that such desires are only temporarily satisfied,

they just rise up again and you just keep on in this need

and it's very difficult to get to break spell of them

그리고 그가 가리키며 말하는 것은, 

그런 욕망들은 일시적으로 만족될 뿐,

다시 일어나고, 그대는 계속해서 이 욕구에 붙어있다

그것들의 주술에서 깨어나기 아주 어렵다

now you start by saying, you want to be free of desires, having heard me say,

which ones are natural, they don't leave any footprints in the consciousness, you understand that,

'ok, it frees up to not be...',

이제 그대가, 욕망에서 자유롭고 싶다, 고 말하는 것으로 시작한다

내가 말하는 것을 듣고,

어느 것들이 자연스러운 것인지, 그것들은 의식에 자국을 남기지 않는다고,

그대가 이해한다, '좋다, 나를 자유롭게 하는 것

but the ones that we can identify as the things that preoccupy your attention often and you easily distracted

when these forces come,

then we can look at that, you ask how to do it, how to be free of them

하지만 그대의 주의를 자주 차지하고, 그대가 쉽게 방해를 받는 것들은,

이런 힘들이 올 때, 우리가 바라볼 수 있다,

그대는 어떻게 그렇게 할 수 있는지, 어떻게 자유로워질 수 있는지를 묻는다

if you're devotional being, you may present that in a prayer to supreme self, to the Lord of universe, you may say,

'i'm not good, i'm not able to control my projections, i'm just so weak, i don't have any power of determination,

all these things, they're too much for me, please help me to transcend them',

그대가 헌신의 존재라면, 

기도에 바칠 수 있다, 최상의 진짜 자신에게, 존재의 신에게 라고 말할 수 있겠다

'내가 잘 못 해요, 나의 투사들을 통재할 수가 없습니다, 나는 너무 약할 뿐, 단호할 수 있는 힘이 없습니다,

이런 것들 모두, 나에게 너무 벅찹니다, 내가 이것들을 변형시킬 수 있도록 도와주세요'

then power comes, power comes through your humility, your openness and honesty,

the power will come to help you there

그러면 힘이 온다, 

힘은 그대의 겸손함, 그대의 열려있음 과 정직 을 통해 온다

힘이 그대를 돕기 위해 나타날 것이다
