그대는 maya 를 알아야 한다

이 말을 주로 가까운 제자들에게 한다, 어떻든 그들이 나의 말을 견뎌낼 수 있다고 느껴지는 이들에게,

'그대에게 권리가 없는 것처럼 살아라', 고 말한다

there's 2 kinds of attachments,

you're attached to me personally, or you're attached to me impersonally,

 

두 종류의 집착이 있다,

그대는 내게 제한된 인식으로 집착하거나, 제한없는 인식으로 집착하거나

 

if you're attached to me personally, i'm going to give you a lot of trouble,

if you're attached to me impersonally you're goona be just fine,

isn't it? like this,

 

그대가 내게 제한된 인식으로 집착한다면, 나는 그대에게 무수한 문제를 주게 될 것이다

그대가 내게 제한없는 인식으로 집착한다면, 그대는 그냥 괜찮을 것이다

 

그렇지 않은가, 이런 식이다

 

it is difficult, because especially with people that you know, isn't it?

because believe it or not, we do have projections and expectations,

 

you've heard me say, many of you that i say this mostly to my intimate students, the ones i feel somehow that they can bear mo words,

i say, live as though you have no rights,

 

어렵다,

특히 그대가 아는 사람들하고, 그렇지 않은가

 

믿든 아니든, 우리는 투사와 기대를 갖고 있다,

 

그대는 내가 말하는 것을 들은 적이 있다,

그대들 다수가

 

이 말을 주로 가까운 제자들에게 한다, 어떻든 그들이 나의 말을 견뎌낼 수 있다고 느껴지는 이들에게,

'그대에게 권리가 없는 것처럼 살아라', 고 말한다

 

now in the world, if you say this, it will not go down well,

'i stand up my rights, fight for your rights',

 

이제 세상에서는, 그대가 이렇게 말한다면, 제대로 받아들여지지 못할 것이다

'나는 나의 권리를 옹호한다, 그대의 권리를 위해 싸워라', 의 세상이므로

 

i say, the one who's wise, they say, live as though you have no rights, and no entitlements,

then what will happen? everything that comes to you, you appreciate,

you don't think tha tyou, 'this belongs to me',

no, nothing belongs to you,

not even you, meaning not even your idea of yourself, not even that is true

 

현명한 사람은, 권리가 없고, 자격이 없는 것처럼 산다고 한다

그러면 무슨 일이 일어날까, 그대에게 오는 모든 것에, 그대가 감사한다

그대는, '이건 내게 속해' 라고 생각하지 않는다

아니다, 아무것도 그대에게 속해 있지 않다

그대조차,

그대 자신에 대한 그대의 생각도, 진짜가 아니다

 

when you live like this, 'i have no rights and so on',

then something immediately, some himility comes into your expression,

and humility is beautiful, because it opens the way of Grace come,

cause she won't come, if you're arrogant, Grace will not come to you,

if you think you're special, she'll not come to you

 

그대가 이처럼 살 때, '나는 권리 등이 없다',

 

그러면 즉시 무언가, 겸손함이 그대의 표현에 들어선다

 

그리고 겸손은 아름답다, 은혜로움이 들어서는 길을 여는 것이므로

그대가 거만하다면, 그녀는 오지 않을 것이다, 은혜로움은 그대에게 오지 않을 것이다

그대가 특별하다고 생각한다면, 그녀는 그대에게 오지 않을 것이다

 

so sometimes things like this can happen,

i'm talking to my sister at the moment, she's coming like that,

it's not easy, i understand, because somehow, the mind will take that shape, and says,

the mind is pretending to be compassionate,

but he is not compassionate,

that is not his purpose for doing that,

그래서 때로는 이런 일들이 일어날 수 있다

나는 지금 나의 sister 에게 말하고 있다, 그녀가 그렇게 겪고 있다

 

쉽지 않다, 이해한다,

왜냐하면, 어떻든 마음이 모양을 취하고, 말할 것이므로,

'봐라, 그들이 어떤지, 내내 그를 둘러싸고 있네, 그에게 휴식을 좀 주지.......',

 

마음은 자비로운 척 하고 있다

하지만 그는 자비롭지 않다

그러는 것이 그의 목적이 아니다

그의 목적은 사람들이 뒤로 물러서도록-, 너 왜 이래-, 라고 하는 것이다

그리고 그를 믿는 것은

그대는 그를 믿으면 안 된다, '나는 불평하는 것이 아니다', 라고 한다

 

so somebody once asked one saint, 'what do you want?'

and he answered, 'whatever God gives, bitter or sweet',

 

한 번은 누군가 한 성자에게 물었다, '당신이 원하는 것은 무엇입니까',

그가 답했다, '신 이 주는 것은 무엇이든, 쓰거나 달거나',

 

because he has already prepared the mind, whatever flavor comes, 'i'll make use of it, the power of discernment, i'll make use of it'

 

그는 이미 마음이 준비되어 있다, 무엇이 오든, '나는 그것을 활용할 것이다, 분별의 힘을 나는 활용할 것이다',

 

so when you say, you feel sometimes is arrogance coming,

it's not yours,

mind has been tricked you for a long time to make you feel you have a right,

you have a right to be angry-,

and who is he speaking to also?

he is speaking to the idea you have of who you are, he cannot speak to your true self,

but you don't know that yet

 

그래서 그대가, 때로 거만함이 나타나는 것을 느낀다고 말할 때,

 

그건 그대의 것들이 아니다

마음은 그대를 오랫동안 속여, 그대에게 권리가 있다고 느끼게 만든다

'너는 화를 낼 권리가 있다'-,

 

또한 그는 누구에게 말하고 있는 것인가

 

그는 그대라고 갖는 생각에게 말한다, 마음은 그대의 진짜 자신에게 말할 수 없다,

하지만 그대는 그것을 아직 알지 못한다

 

so we're vulnerable to these voice,

we have to transcend this voice and its influence,

and then somehow you come awake from its hold,

 

그래서 우리는 이런 목소리에 약하다

이 목소리와 그 영향력을 우리가 변형시켜야 한다

그러면 어떤 식으로든 그대가 그것의 장악에서 깨어난다

그대는 마야 를 알아야 한다

이런 이유로, 그대가 사트상에 왔다

 

마야 는 어디에서 오는가,

나는 그대에게 말하고 싶은 것이 있다, 놀랄 것이다,

 

마야 또한 신에게서 온다, 그리고 은혜로움이 신 에게서 온다,

모든 것이 신 에게서 온다, 이 모든 것이 신 의 놀이이다,

그대는 어디에서 오는가, 그대 또한 신에게서 온다

하지만 그대는 마야 가 아니다, 그대는 이해해야 한다

 

we put on this human suit to play and to experience,

but i say sometimes, is like consciousness, another name for God you can say, 

creates the sense of problem or challenge in order to have the experience of transcending it

 

우리는 놀이를 하고, 경험을 하기 위해, 이 인간 복장을 입는다

 

하지만 때로 내가 말하는 것,

we have now challenge to transcend all our conditioning,

but not to be cynical about it, not to curse anybody,

but just to see it, to feel it, to say, 'but that's not true'

 

우리는 지금 우리의 모든 조건화를 변형시켜야 하는 어려움을 갖고 있다

하지만 그것에 대해 냉소적일 것이 아니다, 어느 누구를 저주할 것이 아니다

그냥 그것을 보는 것이다, 그것을 느끼는 것이다, 말하는 것이다, '그런데 이건 진짜가 아니야'

 

so what help do you have to do that?

because all the beings, we have all received conditioning,

in the same way that all the beings living in the ocean are wet,

all the beings who enter the manifestation, we're conditioned

 

그러면 그러기 위해서 그대가 갖고 있는 도움은 무엇인가

 

모든 존재들은, 우리는 모두, 조건화를 받는다

바다에서 사는 모든 존재들이 젖어있는 것과 같이,

드러남 에 들어서는 모든 존재들, 우리는 조건화 된다

 

this body, we need, in order to have experience,

but the body is also experienced,

we're not so only attached to the body, but to the life inside it

 

이 몸은 우리가 경험을 하기 위해 필요하다

하지만 몸 또한 경험된다

우리는 몸에만 그렇게 집착하는 것이 아니라, 그 안의 생명에 집착한다

 

so something in this, we have to overcome, we have to learn and it's time for us

 

그래서 이 안의 무언가를, 우리는 극복해야 한다, 배워야 한다, 그리고 우리가 그럴 때이다

 

why you have come here,

there're 7.5 billions human beings are alive currently on this planet, we're little spec of them,

why you came here, what selected you to come here, and put another one to another place,

we can never understand the ways of the supreme,

but you're here, and you're here for something,

because you have chosen truth,

most of you, 

then all the delusions are gonna come for you

that the devil is going to come for you, because him, you must overcome,

and he doesn't exist only on this side of eyes (눈 밖으로),

he lives also behind the eyes

 

그대는 왜 여기에 왔는가,

지금 이 행성에는 75억의 인간 존재들이 있다, 우리는 그들 중 아주 작은 규모이다,

그대는 여기에 왜 왔는가, 무엇이 그대를 여기에 오도록 선택하고, 또 다른 이는 또 다른 곳으로 선택했는가

우리는 최상의 존재 의 방식을 결코 이해할 수 없다

하지만 그대는 여기에 있다, 그리고 무언가 때문이다

그대는 진리를 택했다

그대들 대부분이,

그러면 온갖 환영들이 그대들에게 나타날 것이다

악마가 그대에게 다가올 것이다, 왜냐하면 그를, 그대가 극복해야 한다

그리고 그는 눈 밖의 측면에서만 존재하는 것이 아니다,

눈 뒤에서 또한 산다

 

but you have an advantage, beacuse you are already the Self,

just you're not aware of it yet,

just like someone can trick a naive person, but somebody is more clever, they cannot trick them,

 

하지만 그대가 유리하다, 그대는 이미 진짜 자신 이므로

단지 그것을 그대가 아직 인식하지 못한다

 

누군가가 잘 모르는 사람을 속일 수 있는 것과 같다, 하지만 누군가는 더 현명하다, 그를 속일 수는 없다

 

you have to be wise to overcome maya's tricks,

Satsang is the place that is helping you, reminding you who you are,

when you forget yourself, maya is strong,

when you remember yourself, maya does not exist

 

그대는 마야 의 속임수를 극복할 수 있을만큼 현명해야 한다

사트상은 그대를 돕는 곳이다, 그대가 누구인지를 기억나게 한다

그대가 자신을 잊을 때, 마야 는 강하다,

그대가 자신을 기억할 때, 마야 는 존재하지 않는다
