이것은 경험을 맛 보기 위해 몸을 필요로 한다

주의를 기울여 들어라, 지금 그대에게 완벽히 완벽히 관계되어 있는 말이다

 

몸 안 자연스러운 의식의 느낌은 그 자신을 '내가 있다'는 방식으로 알린다

이 직관, 이 확신, 이것이 그대의 첫 번째 앎이다,

내가 존재한다

 

내가 있다는 것,

이 내가 존재한다는 느낌, 이것은 제한된 인식이 아니다, 대상이 아니다, 성별이 없다,

그런 식이다

 

그냥 의식 자체일 뿐이다

그것에는 종교가 없다, 신념 체계가 없다

순수 의식이다

if you go to see a doctor, then 'what's wrong?'

-you say, 'nothing'

why you come?

-just to say hello, bring you a nice painting for your wall,

no, no, come for me, i want to

-no................

 

그대가 의사에게 간다, '무슨 문제가 있나요?'

-그대는 아무것도 아니오' 라고 말한다

왜 온 건가요

-그냥 인사하러, 벽에 걸 좋은 그림을 가져다주려고

 

아니 아니, 이리 와 보시오, 내가 보겠소,

-아니야....아니야..........

 

 

then what is the point?

you came to doctor and to be healed,

but then when you see the doctor, you feel, 'can i postpone until next week?'

what is doing that?

 

그러면 요점이 무엇인가

그대는 의사에게 갔다, 낫기 위해,

하지만 그대가 의사를 보고, '다음 주로 연기할 수 있을까' 라 느끼면,

그건 뭐하는 것인가

 

so all i'm saying is, you're not that

that is the self portrait, that is not you

it is like fake money, some money is so good fake that if you go to some place,

you can give them 20 euro, they take it, thank you,

you go

 

그래서 내가 말하는 것은,

그대는 그것(문제)이 아니라는 것이다

그건 자기 이미지이다, 그건 그대가 아니다

 

가짜 돈과 같다, 어떤 돈은 정말 진짜 같은 가짜이다,

그대가 어떤 곳에 가면, 그들에게 20유로를 주고, 그들이 받는다, 

그대는 사라진다

 

another place, they, somebody is stopping you, take a look,

you run out of the room, you go quick,

but maybe you don't know it's fake, you believe it's real

and you say, 'hey, what're you doing? what's wrong with my money?'

-wait, you stay here one second, take a look, and then they expose it's unreal

and then now you're contesting, then they show you why this is unreal

-look, come with me and look, let's look together

and then you see,

but initially something doesn't want to look,

it's defending things and this is what happens very often in satsang

 

또 다른 곳에서는, 누군가 그대를 멈춘다, 들여다본다,

그대는 방을 빠져나온다, 재빨리 사라진다

 

하지만 그대가 그 돈이 가짜라는 것을 모를 수도 있다, 그대는 그것이 진짜라 믿는다

그래서 그대는, '뭐 하는 겁니까, 내 돈에 무슨 문제가?'

-기다려보시오, 여기 잠깐만 있으시오, 

들여다보고, 그것이 진짜가 아니라는 것을 폭로한다

그러면 이제 그대는 저항한다

그러면 그들이 그대에게 왜 이것이 진짜가 아니인지를 보여준다

-보시오, 나와 함께 봐요, 함께 봅시다

 

그러면 그대가 본다,

하지만 처음부터 무언가 보고 싶지가 않다

방어하는 것이 있다,

 

이러한 것이 사트상에서 흔히 일어나는 것이다

 

but it's only reaction, it's a reflex,

it's a sort of self preservatiion for ego,

and behind it again, last time i spoke with you, i gave one statement, i'm using again today,

one of Sri Ramana Maharshi statement, which really is coming up very strongly as simple,

i like to give a simple, little capsules of pointer,

because everybody can use it

i don't want to use your mind trying to figure out what is it saying,

so i'm gonna tell you again, because it's still useful today

 

하지만 그건 반응일 뿐이다, 습성일 뿐이다

에고가 자기 보호를 하는 것 같다

 

하지만 다시 그 뒤에는,

 

지난 번 내가 그대들과 함께 말했다, 한 문장, 

오늘 다시 사용하려 한다

Sri Raman 의 말씀 중 하나, 단순한만큼 정말 아주 강하게 드러내는 것이다

 

나는 단순한 것을 주고 싶다, 가리킴의 작은 캡슐을

왜냐하면 모두가 그것을 사용하게 하고 싶다

 

나는 그대의 마음이, 그 말이 무슨 뜻인지를 알기 위해 애쓰는 것을 원하지 않는다

그래서 다시 나는 그대들에게 말하겠다, 오늘도 여전히 유용한 것이기 때문이다

 

Sri Ramana say, 'the i removes the i yet remains the i',

of course if it's left like that, most people.......what is he talking about?

so i'm gonna explain

i'll tell you again what this say, the i removes the i yet remains the i,

 

Sri Raman 는 말한다, '나 는 나 를 제거한다, 하지만 나 는 남아있다'

 

물론 이대로 내버려두면, 대부분의 사람들은................그는 무슨 말을 하는 것이지? 라 할 수 있다

내가 다시 이 말이 무슨 뜻인지 말할 것이다,

 

나 는 나 를 제거한다, 그럼에도 나는 남아있다

 

listen, because it's totally totally relevant for you right now,

the natural sense of consciousness inside the body, announce itself in the way i am,

this intuition, this conviction, it's your first knowing, i exist

that's what i am, mean this i exist feeling, it's not personal, it's not a object, it has no gender, like that

it is just consciousness itself, 

it has no religion, has no belief system,

it's pure conscousness

 

주의를 기울여 들어라, 지금 그대에게 완벽히 완벽히 관계되어 있는 말이다

now it gets the i am the body from this i am is not the body,

but it needs the body in order to taste experiencing,

and this world like this world is there because the i am is there,

so you can say, the i am is the one for whom the world is made,

he's the perceiver of the world

 

이제 이것이, 내가 몸이다 라는 것을,

이 몸이 아닌 내가 있다 에서 얻는다

이것은 경험을 맛 보기 위해 몸을 필요로 한다

 

그리고 이 세상, 내가 거기 있기 때문에 있는 것 같다

그래서 그대는, 내가 있다는 것이 세상이 만들어진 이유이다, 라고 말할 수 있다

그가 세상을 인식하는 자이다

 

he's the one that one, i'm saying he, is not gender now, he or it or what,

he is the one that must discern, navigate through this field of interrelated opposite that is the mind,

that is the ocean of the existence,

it must navigate its way back to its original thing

 

그는,

나는 그 라고 말하고 있다, 지금 성별이 아니다, 그 혹은 그것 혹은 무엇이든,

 

그는 분별해야 한다, 마음인, 존재의 바다인, 상호연관된 반대의 것의 장을 거쳐 찾아내야 한다

그 본래의 것으로 돌아가는 길을 찾아야 한다

 

you say, who bother? i mean it's such a rough sea, as you get used to your craft and your discerning properly,

the play that once may feel like it is just most horrible, why is so bad thing,

turns out to be most incredible play,

because consciousness needs to experience transcendence in this field of existence, must overcome

 

왜 그렇게 귀찮게? 라고 그대가 말할 수 있다,

'내 말은 정말 거친 바다란 말이다', 

 

그대가 그대의 탈 것에 익숙해지고, 제대로 분별해갈수록,

한 때는 그저 너무 끔찍한, 왜 이렇게 나쁜 것이 라 느껴졌을 수 있을 놀이가

가장 멋진 놀이로 판명된다

 

왜냐하면 의식은 이 존재의 장에서 변형을 경험할 필요가 있다, 극복해야 한다

 

first, something is imposed upon this consciousness

and what is imposed upon it is that it will need the body, 

and it will believe itself to be the body,

when it believes itself to be the body,

the consciousness which is beyond time, is timeless, when it believes it is the body,

it comes into time

 

우선, 무언가 이 의식에 짐으로 지워진다

그것이 몸을 필요로 한다

그것은 자신을 몸이라 믿는다

자신을 몸이라 믿을 때,

시간을 넘어선, 시간이 존재하지 않는 의식이, 몸이라 믿을 때,

그것은 시간으로 들어선다
