가슴의 이해의 부족 때문이다

in this world, we are walking on very very delicate ground

because concepts have become so polluted,

and separated from the whole,

극단의 것들로, 극단의 놀라움, 극단의 끔찍함

there is always some degree of pride inside the phenomenal identity

why, because in the phenomenal identity, there is shames, lies,

because of the distortion of perception, because of ego,

and the pressure of being something, being somebody

and that some intuition is inside that knows we are not somebody

but no one is giving us the space to be nobody

현상의 동일시 안에서는 항상 어느 정도의 자부심이 있다

왜 인가, 

현상의 동일시에는 부끄러움, 거짓이 있기 때문이다

인식의 왜곡, 에고 때문이다

그리고 무언가가, 누군가가 되어야 한다는 압박감

그리고 안에서는 우리는 다른 누군가가 아니라는 직관이 있다

하지만 아무도 아무도 아닐 공간을 우리에게 내주지 않는다

there is a little pain that the world is forgetting this

like drifting away

only in the phenomenal sense, because there's absolutely no reality to that in the ultimate

but that we are losing our sensitivity a little bit at a certain point, in space time,

losing this subtlety, this sweetness,

this sweet pain that brings us into awakening

but of course, this is also in the play

세상이 이것을 잊은데서 작은 고통이 있다

둥둥 떠다니듯

현상의 의미에서만 그렇다

왜냐하면 절대 에서는 그런 실재는 없으므로

하지만 우리는 우리의 예민함을 좀 잃고 있다, 어느 지점에서, 공간 시간에서

이 미묘함, 이 감미로움을

우리를 깨어남으로 데려갈 달콤한 고통을

다른 자 없이 사랑이 살아남을 수 있을까

다른 자가 무엇인가

다른 자와 관련하여 실재 가 있는가

because it's not daily presented to us, this type of reflection

is there really what is other?

깊이 생각해 봐라

일상적으로 우리에게 주어지는 것이 아니므로, 이런 비추어 봄이란

다른 자인 것이 정말로 있는가

no one has ever addressed himself as other or as you

unless they mean, 'but i am you'

but nobody say that

i am i, you are you

and everything you means other

and we are referring to your mother as other

and ultimately even god is other, is you

and if we don't say that, it's like we are in the territory of blashphemy,

because of the lact of this heart-understanding

아무도 그 자신을, 다른 자라거나 너 라고 하지 않는다

여기에서 누가 상상을 사용하는가

it's like subtle play of intellect and being

you can give a shape to spirit if you like

we have done that with everything

그것이 그대의 주의를 붙들 수 있는가

-그것은 그 모양을 붙들 수 없다

이것을 아는 그것은, 모양인가

every word, every moment is the moment of seeing here

not of intellect clarity

yes it can be this also, but it cannot stay there

it must combust into some kind of essence, isn't it?

can essence be seen?

모든 단어, 모든 순간이 바라봄 의 순간이다, 여기에서

지적 명확성에 관한 것이 아니다

그럴 수도 있다, 하지만 그것은 머물 수 없다

뭔가 본질로 변화되어야 한다, 그렇지 않은가

본질은 보일 수 있는가

see if anything can hold their shape

they cannot hold shape

that's the nature of phenomena

we swear on the bible, holy quran, gita, 'i will never'

can you hold that oath as a person?

some people have held it to that last breath

but at what consequence?

'i stayed with my oath to the last moment'

at the sacrifice with so many things

어떤 것이 그 자신들의 모양을 붙들 수 있는지 봐라

그것들은 모양을 지탱할 수 없다

그것이 현상의 본성이다

우리는 성경, 성스러운 코란, 기타 에 맹세한다, '난 결코 하지 않겠다'

그것에 의해 바라봄 혹은 인식 작용이나 움직임조차 보인다,

그것이 하나의 작용인가

바라봄 이란 항상, 주체-대상인가

지금 봐봐라, 모든 답이 지금, 질문이 지금이다

바라봄 이란 항상 주체-객체의 작용인가

왜냐하면 지금껏 우리는 이런 관계에서 살고 있다,

'난 그것을 볼 수 있다, 난 널 볼 수 있다, 와 요점이 보인다, 그래 이해한다'식의

바라봄의 형상

if even this like pure love which is not merely a sensation, not merely an emotion,

it's not an object seen

so even this love, as subtle as it can be,

in order to be perceived as, 'yes that is love'

even that in its subtlest manifestation, capacity to know, is also perceived

by what is it perceived?

순수한 사랑, 이런 것조차

단지 감각이 아닌, 감정이 아닌,

보이는 대상이 아닌

이 사랑조차, 가능한 미묘하게,

'그래 그것이 사랑이다'로 인식될 수 있는

그것의 가장 미묘한 드러냄, 알아볼 수 있는 역량,

그것이 또한 인식된다

무엇에 의해 그것이 인식되는가

remember, this is not an intellectual debate

i'm not interested in intellect

so don't be so pleased with yourself, 'ah got the right answer'

no, we're researching

like we are searching for air in a room that is lacking oxygen

so if air is experienced, joy can also be experienced,

but pride not

기억해라, 이것은 지적 논쟁이 아니다

그대가 기도를 시작하기 전에

perceiving itself is not a body

it's not dead

it alone is, but not at the phenomenal level of perception

so pure

and the glimpse of this is just shooting particles of light into the seeming manifest space,

which is the place of your mind and brain and body,

joy current you experience

some subtle subtle things

supreme is not one micro millimeter away from you

but the instrument of the body identification, not the body, body attachment,

so the idea of god, pure consciousness being separate from you,

that dries up

it's like a piece of ice in warm water

ice constitution is water, warm water is just water,

and the melting is happening

this melting i call awakening consciousness

that remind you of your oneness

그렇게 신, 순수 의식 존재가 그대와 분리되어 있다는 생각,

그것이 다 마른다

따듯한 물에 있는 얼음 조각 같다

얼음의 구성은 물이다, 따듯한 물도 그냥 물이다

그리고 녹는다

이 녹는 것을 나는, 깨어나는 의식이라 한다

그대에게 그대의 하나임이 떠오르도록 한다

그렇지 않으면, 그것에 대한 수용성이 없으면, 

일어날 수 없다

표현하는 작동 방식이 나타나지 않을 것이다

그래서 나는 여기에 누군가가 있다는 것을 안다, 적어도 한 사람은

한 사람 뿐일 수도 있다

그것으로 오늘이든 언젠가든,

모두가 이로움을 얻을 수 있는 통찰을 열기에 충분하다

you are universal consciousness

그대는 전체 의식이다

if there was no bodies and no persons to act through,

it is still the universal consciousness

like the sensation of being here, and the sense of you and me and us,

time and travel, place, memory, learning,

all of this is just a momentary sensations happening in the space

통해서 움직일 몸, 사람들 이란 것이 없다 해도

그럼에도 전체 의식이다

여기에 있는 느낌, 너와 나, 우리라는 느낌,

시간, 여행, 장소, 기억, 배움,

이런 모든 것이

공간에서 일어나는 한 순간의 감각일 뿐이다

suppose there is universal consciousness

that it doesn't even need any vehicle to express you

because it is in the body, it is not contaminated with the belief that it is merely a person,

and so it's personal shape and paradigm is the conditoins through which it must operate,

that's where the feeling of complexity come, the you and me,

all these things

전체 의식이 있고,

그대를 표현할 어떤 도구도 없다고 해보자

몸 안에 있는 것으로,

그것이 -어떤 사람-이란 믿음으로 오염되는 것이 아니기 때문이다

그래서 -어떤 사람- 이라는 모양과 그 구조, 그런 것들을 통해 작용해야 한다?

그곳에서 복잡함이란 느낌이 나타난다, 너와 나,

이런 온갖 것들

so unless the urge is alive in the heart of someone,

then these conversations can't happen

because i can't come and put a conversation on you

you have to be somehow,

even if you don't speak, something in your vibration will communicate with me,

열망이 누군가의 가슴에서 살아 있지 않다면

이런 대화는 일어날 수 없다

내가 와서 그대에게 대화를 뒤집어 씌울 수 없으므로

그대가 어떻게 해서인가

말을 하지 않는다 해도, 그대 진동 안의 무언가가 나와 소통할 것이다,

'좋다 난 이것에 대해 말할 수 있다

otherwise, if there was no receptiveness to it, it cannot happen

mechanisme for expressing would not come

그렇지 않으면, 그것에 대한 수용성이 없으면,

unconveyable to our usual way of thinking

in this pure comeplete state of awareness,

everything that can be anything that is perceivable,

it's only mementary movement

so everything is seeming to occuring in that unmoving source

that is the self, that is our self

but it cannot be grasped like that

우리가 대개 생각하는 식으로 전달될 수 없는 것

이 순수한 각성의 완결 상태에서,

인식될 수 있는 어떤 것이든, 그런 모든 것은

한 순간의 움직임일 뿐이다

그래서 모든 것이, 그 움직이지 않는 근원에서 일어나는 것 같아 보인다

그것이 자신, 우리 자신이다

하지만 이런 식으로 파악될 수는 없다

so at a certain level, to some persons, yes it's just emptiness

but it can be heard like 'it's nothing then'

and also it can be said, 'ok it's nothing', but it's not a nothing of the mind

it is everything that is nothing and the nothing that is everything

어느 단계에서 어떤 이들에게는,

그래 그것은 비어 있음이다,

하지만 그것은, '그럼 아무것도 아닌 것이네'로 들릴 수 있다

그렇게도 말할 수 있다, '그래 아무 것 아닌 것이다',

하지만 마음의 '아무것도 아니네'가 아니다

아무 것 아닌 모든 것, 모든 것인 아무 것 아닌 것이다

how to convey that through teaching?

only grace can do

what is grace, we cannot say

from this standpoint, how can explain

so what becomes easier these days, the feeling to impart directions and guidances,

and i know where it goes

it goes mostly into a kind of subtle mind

it is good, because it's also a part of it, has to happn in there

가르침을 통해 그것을 어떻게 전달할 수 있을까

은혜로움만이 할 수 있다

무엇이 은혜로움인가, 우리가 말할 수 없다

이 지점에서, 어떻게 설명할 수 있을까

그래서 요즘 더 쉽게 되는 것은

방향과 안내를 전달하는 느낌이,

난 그것이 어디로 가는지 안다

주로 미묘한 마음과 같은 것으로 간다

그것 좋다, 또한 그 일부다, 일어나야 하는 것이다

but naturally for some reason, the feeling to express like this is getting less and less for me

some more are coming, but they are just a form of that grace

so there is much higher joy

it's less to do with work

하지만 자연스럽게 어떤 이유인가로,

이처럼 표현하고자 하는 느낌이 나에게 점점 덜해지고 있다

뭔가 더 나오는 것들이 있다, 하지만 그것들은 그 은혜로움의 한 모습일 뿐이다

훨씬 더 높은 기쁨이 있다

작업이 덜어진다

인간 존재가 진화해 있다는 것은,

평가하는 자가 누구든,

나에게는,

어느 정도의 자비와 명확함, 사랑, 전체로 보는 인식이 있어야 한다

그리고 삶에 대한 언급이, 최상의 존재의 각성에서

이것이 인간 존재의 진화다

하지만 단지 지구의 기술을 갖고, 뭔가를 얻기 위해 조작하는 것,

부유하고 유명해지기 위한 것은,

결국 아무것도 아니다

이런 것들 중 어떤 것도 그대가 계속 갖고 있을 수 없기 때문이다

깨어난 자는 어떤 것도 전혀 유지해야 할 필요 없다

그들은, 구분하는 이들이다

each one's manifestation is so subtle

even they themselves cannot understand it

you have to come into the heart

when you come into the heart, then things that you want to know in the mind become

각자 드러나 보이는 모습은 아주 미묘하다

그들 자신조차 그것을 이해할 수 없다

가슴 안으로 들어서야 한다

가슴 안으로 들어설 때,

그러면 그대가 마음에서 알고 싶어하는 것들이 ...........

when you're in the higher state of consciousness,

the lower states you don't need to know anymore

when you're in the lower state, you want to know the higher state,

you cannot know

그대가 보다 높은 의식의 상태에 있을 때

낮은 상태는 더 이상 그대에게 필요 없다

그대가 낮은 상태에 있을 때, 높은 상태를 알고 싶어한다,

그대는 알 수 없다

they may in the world look very important, very great,

but in the spirit they're very weak

some people in the spirt are great, but in the world they appear like not so much

so only the ones who can discern that,

they themselves have capacity to see with spiritual eyes

세상에서 아주 중요해 보이고, 대단해 보이는 이들이 있을 수 있다,

하지만 얼 에서 그들은 아주 약하다

얼 에서 큰 이들이 있다, 

하지만 세상에서 그들은 별로 대단해 보이지 않는다

그래서 그것을 구분할 수 있는 이들만,

그들은 얼 의 눈으로 바라볼 수 있는 역량을 갖고 있다

actually being listening in a phenomenal way, it cannot grasp

so keep the teachings have to be simplified,

which is the highest way that they can be served anyway

complexity is only to personal mind, no work

it has to be simplified so that the beings can really relate to it

to relate to things complex is not because you're so evolved

사실 현상의 방식으로 듣는 것으로는 이해할 수 없다

그래서 가르침은 계속해서 단순하게 되어야 한다

어떻든 그들이 가장 높은 방식으로 받을 수 있는 것이다

복잡함은 제한된 마음에게만

효과 없는 것으로

그것이 단순해져야 한다, 그래서 존재들이 정말로 연결할 수 있도록

복잡한 것에 연결할 수 있는 것은, 그대가 아주 진화되어서가 아니다

so to come to this place is not so much passing on informations,

it feels more like transmission

sharing and listening inside your heart,

then the heavy garment of personhood you feel a bit,

and then also it will slip away more

more than it has to go through your mind

the spirit doesn't have to go through the mind

그래서

이 자리에 이르는 것은, 그다지 정보 전달이 아니다

보다는 전이 와 같다

나누고, 그대의 가슴 안에서 듣는다

그러면 무거운 장신구인 제한된 인식을 그대가 좀 느낀다

그러면 그것이 보다 떨어져 나갈 것이다

그대의 마음을 통해야 하는 것보다는

얼 은 마음을 통해야 할 필요 없다

spirit can in a way go through heart-mind

your mind is there, but it's inside the heart,

something goes more direct, really made it easy for you

whereas you have to understand things in cerebral way, in the mind,

then you may sound like you're doing all these things,

얼 은 어느 식으로 가슴-마음을 통한다 할 수 있다

그대의 마음은 있다, 하지만 그것이 가슴 안에 있다

뭔가가 보다 바로 간다, 그대에게 정말 쉬운 것으로 만든다

반면 뇌 의 식으로, 마음에서 이해해야 한다?

그러면 그대는 온갖 것들을 하는 것처럼 들릴 수는 있다

they don't know anything at all

it's all just intellectual stuff

they can know about how to do

but they can't sit and just meet someone

그런 이들은 어떤 것도 전혀 알지 못한다

그냥 지적 덩어리일 뿐

그들은 어떻게 할 수 있는지 알 수 있다고 한다

하지만 앉아서, 누군가를 그냥 만나는 것을 할 수 없다

so this kind of knowledge people may win nobel peace prize over these things

but as a true human being in the heart, they may not be so evolved at all

for human being to be evolved, whoever the measurer is, 

for me, it has to be a level of compassion and clarity, love and holistic perception,

and state of reference for life in awareness of the supreme being

this is the evolution of human being

그래서 이런 식으로 아는 것으로,

사람들은 노벨 평화상을 받거나 할 수 있다

하지만 가슴에서 진실한 인간 존재로서는, 그들은 전혀 그다지 진화되어 있지 않다

인간 존재가 진화해 있다는 것은,

평가하는 자가 누구든,

나에게는,

어느 정도의 자비와 명확함, 사랑, 전체로 보는 인식이 있어야 한다

그리고 삶에 대한 언급이, 최상의 존재의 각성에서

이것이 인간 존재의 진화다

but merely to have skills of the earth to gain things of the things to manipulate,

to become wealthy and famous means nothing in the end

because none of these thing you can keep

the awakened one doesn't have to keep anything at all

they are who they discern

하지만 단지 지구의 기술을 갖고, 뭔가를 얻기 위해 조작하는 것,

부유하고 유명해지기 위한 것은,

결국 아무것도 아니다

이런 것들 중 어떤 것도 그대가 계속해서 갖고 있을 수 없기 때문이다

깨어난 자는 어떤 것도 전혀 유지해야 할 필요 없다

그들은, 구분하는 이들이다

어떤 느낌이든 올 수 있다

'난 아주 버려진 느낌이다, 여기에서 가치 없게 느껴진다'

느낌이다

그리고 버려진 것으로 느끼는 자 또한 느낌이다

무엇이 이것을 보고 있는가

if it is perceived, it cannot own the tile of a fact

it's an appearance, energetic or otherwise something coming there

and the sense of sticking to a sense of identity gives it the sourness of it

but that is also perceived

인식되는 것이라면, 그것은 사실 이라 할 수 없다

그것은 나타나 보이는 것, 에너지상 혹은 다른 식으로, 뭔가가 저기 나타나는 것이다

그리고 정체성의 느낌에 붙는 그 느낌이, 시큼함을 준다

하지만 그것 또한 인식된다

so i'm just saying, not throwing out the feeling

use it, we need this even horrible feeling

you can still use it to see if is there something more true than this?

and when it comes, is the good time to look

because it's going to subside again and go into a place that feels like it's gone

그러니 난, 그냥 느낌을 내던지라 하고 있지 않다

활용해라, 우리에게 이토록 끔찍한 느낌 또한 필요하다

그것을 활용해서, 이것보다 더 사실인 것이 있는지 봐라

그것이 나타날 때가 보기에 좋은 때다

왜냐하면 그것은 곧 가라앉을 것이므로,

가버린 것처럼 느껴지는 자리로 간다

but it's only subsided, it will come again

and has it come to throw havoc on yourself?

maybe havoc upon the idea you have of yourself,

which they go together like two sides of one coin

so somehow they're being seen

by what are they being seen?

could you call that yourself?

하지만 가라앉은 것 뿐이다, 다시 나타날 것이다

그것은 그대 자신에게 혼란을 던지는 것인가

아마도 그대가 그대 자신에 대해 갖는 생각에의 혼란일 것이다,

그들은 함께 간다, 한 동전의 양면처럼

어떻든 그들은 보이는 것들이다

무엇에 의해 보이는가

그것을 그대 자신이라 할 수 있는가

everything else is seen by it

but can it itself be seen?

where is it?

subtler than identity, because identity is seen

just to verify, experientially, that's all

그 밖에 모든 것이 보인다

하지만 그것 자체는 보이는가

그것은 어디에 있는가

정체성보다 미묘하다, 정체성은 보이므로

단지 확인해봐라, 경험상으로

그것이 다다

what's happening?

the focus has shifted from the object of perception, the feeling,

'i'm just feeling really terrible right now, i can't listen to you'

it's cool

don't identify, just see

terrible feelings, 'i feel sophisticated, suffocating, i just want to get out-'

that is also seen

it can be felt

무엇이 일어나는가

초점이 인식의 대상, 느낌으로부터 이동한다

'난 지금 정말 끔찍한 느낌이다, 당신 말이 안 들린다'

좋다

동일시하지 마라, 그냥 봐라

끔찍한 느낌, '복잡하다, 숨을 못 쉬겠다, 나가고 싶다, -'

그것 또한 보인다

느껴질 수 있는 것이다

'but if i was a good person, i wouldn't--'

it's a good visitor for a good person

'하지만 내가 괜찮은 사람이라면, 그러지 않을 것을-'

좋은 사람이란 자에게 나타나는 방문객이다

so any feeling can come

it's a feeling

and the one who feels left out is also feeling

'난 아주 버려진 느낌이다, 여기에서 가치 없게 느껴진다'

그리고 버려진 것으로 느끼는 자 또한 느낌이다

무엇이 이것을 보고 있는가

what kind of person is it?

what race? what gender?

어떤 사람인가

무슨 인종? 무슨 성별?

you see, anything you say will be an object of perception

but the subject of perceiving is what?

봐라, 그대가 말하는 어떤 것이든, 인식의 대상일 것이다

하지만 인식의 주체는 무엇인가

imagination will not help you

it is also something perceived

상상은 그대를 돕지 못할 것이다

그것 또한 인식되는 것이다

this perceiver cannot be perceived

why?

can you see your eyes?

you can see your seeing

what is seeing the seeing?

can that be seen?

이 인식하는 자는 인식될 수 없다

왜 인가

그대는 그대의 눈을 볼 수 있는가

그대는 그대의 바라봄을 볼 수 있다

무엇이 보는 것을 보는가

그것은 보일 수 있는가

no because that simply is

everything else is a visitor

you may say, a squatter living in your house for a long time

we all do

goes by the name of i

that's a difficult one

아니다, 왜냐하면 그것은 단순히 있는 것이므로

그 밖에 모든 것이 방문객이다

그대 집의 오랜 무단 거주자라 할 수도 있겠다

우리 모두가 그렇다

나 라는 이름으로

그것이 곤란한 것이다

is there anything more intimate than i?

yeah, that which is aware of the feeling of i and its content, its self image

나 보다 더 친밀한 것이 있는가

그렇다, 나 라는 느낌과 그것의 내용, 자기 이미지를 인식하는 그것이다

뭐가 일어나는가

여기에서 무슨 구조가 그대인가

난 그것을 그대라고 한다

'난 못 따라가겠다'

그것은 그냥 하나의 느낌일 뿐이다, 동일시를 입고, 뭔가 단단한 것처럼 되는

단지 한 순간의 것일 뿐이다

따라가느냐 따라가지 못하느냐 보다 더 큰 무언가 안에서 인식되는,

순간의 놀이일 뿐이다

it's the energy in them that we feel, not the words

so actually we are more, at one level, energetic beings than intellectual beings

this is why somebody come and say, 'how are you doing today sir? would you like a cup of- ?'

you may feel, yes thank you, or you might feel, no thank you

whoever the feeler is being, whatever the spotlight is on, 

inside the observing, it's not locked

especially when your own sense of being is not locked into a shape

우리는 말 안의 에너지를 느낀다, 말이 아니라

그래서 사실 우리는 어느 면으로, 지적 존재들이라기 보다는 에너지상 존재다

이래서 누군가가 다가와, '안녕하세요, 차 한 잔 드세요' (라고 하면)

그대는, '네 감사합니다'라 느낄 수도 있고,

'아니요 괜찮아요'로 느낄 수도 있다

느끼는 자가 누구든, 무엇에 초점이 가 있든,

바라봄 안에서, 갇혀 있지 않다

특히 그대 존재의 느낌이, 어떤 모양에 갇혀 있지 않을 때에는

so as you come to see that your looking is not owned by a shape, a construct,

then the looking and the looker are free

if the looking is personal, it will see only within its own world

그대의 바라봄이,

어떤 모양, 어떤 구조에 의해 소유되어 있지 않다는 것을 보게 될수록

바라봄과 바라보는 자는 자유롭다

바라봄이 제한되어 있다면, 그것은 그 자신의 세상 안에서만 볼 것이다

and we have to recognize that sometimes in this kind of close up looking,

it's almost something doesn't want to cooperate with it,

it's not even my ultimate point that i'm speaking and you're not able to follow 

i say, ok but you're aware of the inability to follow,

is also a form, isn't it?

to follow or not to follow

they're both modes of mind

알아차려야 한다,

때로는 이렇게 다가가 바라보는 것에서,

뭔가가 협조하고 싶어하지 않는 것이 있는 것 같다

내가 말하는데, 그대가 따라올 수 없다 는 것이,

내 궁극의 가리킴도 아니다

그래, 하지만 그대는 따라올 수 없는 그 힘 없음을 인식한다,

그것 또한 하나의 형상이다, 그렇지 않은가

따라오든, 따라오지 못하든

둘 다 마음의 모습이다

what is is that register this or that?

is it this or that?

so just be here

because if you don't grasp this, you'll go, 'i didn't get it',

and register that as a kind of failure

then you created and inherited that

이것이냐 저것이냐 라 기록하는 그것은 무엇인가

그것이 이것이나 저것인가

그러니 그냥 여기 -가슴- 에 있어라

그대가 이해하지 못한다고 하면, '난 이해 못한다'로 갈 것이다

그리고 그것을 실패와 같은 것으로 등록한다

그러면 그대는 그것을 만들어냈고, 담아버렸다

but ok, sometimes we can't follow

sometimes you don't need to follow

to be, is better than to follow

'i can't follow',

it's just a sensation, clothed in identity becomes something like solid

it's only a momentariness

only the play of momentariness perceived in something that is greater than following or not following

하지만 문제 없다, 때로는 우리가 따라갈 수 없다

때로는 따라갈 필요가 없다

있는 것 이 따라가는 것보다 낫다

'난 못 따라가겠다'

그것은 그냥 하나의 느낌일 뿐이다, 동일시를 입고, 뭔가 단단한 것처럼 되는

단지 한 순간의 것일 뿐이다

따라가느냐 따라가지 못하느냐 보다 더 큰 무언가 안에서 인식되는,

순간의 놀이일 뿐이다

another moment, the power to follow becomes really acute

what did you do for it? nothing

so you can trust

that's okay

better trust it than start to feel, 'oh really, yesterday was such a failure, i couldn't follow a single word'

and that is some kind of failing?

no sometimes it may happen like that

if you relax, you may find that suddenly you kind of know, 

'whoa, that just become clear'

다른 순간에는, 따라갈 수 있는 힘이 아주 예리하게 된다

그것을 위해 그대가 무엇을 했는가, 아무것도

그러니 그대는 신뢰해라

괜찮다

'아 정말 어제는 너무 실패였다, 한 마디도 따라잡을 수 없었다'로 느끼기 시작하는 것보다

신뢰하는 것이 낫다

그것이 실패인 것인가

아니다, 때로는 그처럼 일어날 수 있다

그대가 편하게 있는다면, 느닷없이 아는 것 같은 것을 발견할 것이다

'워, 그냥 명확해진다'

tricky this mind field

give too much importance to the field, 'this and that and that',

and none on yourself

and at the same time, i say, you can attempt to put attention upon yourself,

and if your attention makes a construct of self,

see that that is also a shape appearing in something shapeless

이 마음의 장이란 교묘하다

'이것이다, 저것이다, 저것이다, --', 그 장에 너무 많은 중요성을 내주고,

그대 자신에게는 아무것도 내지 않는다

동시에 그대는 그대 자신에게 주의를 두려 해 볼 수 있다

그대의 주의가 자신 에 관한 어떤 구조물을 만든다면,

그것 또한, 모양 없는 무언가에서 나타나 보이는, 하나의 모양인 것을 봐라

that which is seeing, can it be seen?

meaning, is it a phenomenon that can be perceived?

바라보는 그것, 그것은 보일 수 있는가

인식될 수 있는 현상인가 라는 말이다

please put to test

don't just hear this thing

apply and verify experientially

everything is only be-ing, 

in the presence of a capacity to a kind of functioning of perceiving

부디 실험해봐라

단지 이것을 듣는 것이 아니라

적용하고 경험상 확인해라

모든 것이 잠시 있는 중일 뿐이다,

인식 작용과 같은 역량의 현존 안에서

어느 누구에게 어떤 조건도 두지 마라

그러면 그대는 그들이 그대를 사랑하거나 미워하거나 자유롭게 둔다

그러면 그들은 그대와 보다 편안함을 느낀다

'i can hate you?'

- yes, please

'내가 널 미워해도 될까'

- 그래, 부디

we have our place where we can how to be really good

and other places you don't know how to be

and the mind doesn't like to be in that environment, it doesn't know how to behave,

how to be, feels lost

so what it means is that by having a context of how to be,

and most situations in the world you have never had

so it leans upon familiar situation and environments where we kind of know how to be

우리는 우리가 정말로 잘 있을 수 있는, 우리 자리를 갖는다

그리고 어떻게 있을지 모르는 여타 자리들이 있다,

마음은 그런 환경에 있는 것을 좋아하지 않는다,

어떻게 처신해야 하는지 모른다, 어떻게 있을지

그래서 그건, 어떻게 있을지에 관한 맥락을 갖는 것으로써

그리고 세상 대부분의 상황들은 그대가 겪어본 적 없는 것들이다

그래서 그건 우리가 어떻게 있을지 아는 것 같은 익숙한 상황, 환경에 기댄다

and someone who is here right now also, told me a few years ago,

'my discomfort with you is,

like i know how to be in my environment with my friends,

and i know how to be

but i don't know how to be with you

and i can only be with people that my mind likes'

지금 여기에 있는 누군가도, 

몇 년 전 내게 말한 적 있다,

'당신과의 불편함,

나의 친구들과의 나의 환경에서는 어떻게 있을지 안다,

하지만 당신과는 어떻게 있을지 모르겠다

그리고 나는 나의 마음이 좋아하는 사람들과 있을 수 있을 뿐이다'

because we have the concept that they're like me and we won't upset each other,

but in another context, many people probably most, you don't know how to be

so is that not a severe impedement?

that you don't know how to be with them,

because you don't accept them in your heart

they have to prove that your heart-mind will accept them

왜냐하면 우리는,

'그들은 나와 같다, 우리는 서로 속상하게 하지 않을 것이다' 라는 개념을 갖고 있다

하지만 다른 맥락에서는, 아마도 많은 사람들이, 어떻게 있을지 모른다

그러니 그것은 심각한 장애 아닌가

그대는 그들과 어떻게 있을지 모른다

왜냐하면 그대의 가슴으로 그들을 받아들이지 않기 때문에

you don't just start from a place of acceptance,

from a place of caution

that's different

to show how much the beings are conditioned by environment and context and projections also

and at the same time, it is very very limiting, restricting

그냥 받아들임의 자리에서 시작하지 않는다

다른 것이다

얼마나 많이 존재들이 환경과 맥락, 투사들에 의해 조건 지워져 있는지를 보여주는 것이다

그리고 동시에, 그것은 아주 아주 제한한다, 제약한다

but we are comfortable because you say,

'i don't mind if the whole world hates me because i have 2 or 3 friends who love me'

and that's fine also

you don't have to go around hoping the whole world love you

there's never been any being at all that is loved by everybody, not even god

so you're not doing so bad

don't wait for everybody to love you

it's easier you love everyone

don't put any conditon on anybody

then you free them to love or hate you

and then they feel more comfortable with you

하지만 우리는 편안하다 왜냐하면

'난 온 세상이 날 싫어해도 상관없다, 날 사랑하는 2, 3명의 친구들이 있으므로'라 하므로

그것 또한 괜찮다

다니면서 온 세상이 그대를 사랑하기를 바랄 것 없다

어떤 존재도 모두에게 사랑 받은 적 없다, 신 조차도

그러니 그대는 그렇게 나쁘게 하고 있는 것은 아니다

모두가 그대를 사랑하기를 기다리지 마라

그대가 모두를 사랑하는 것이 더 쉽다

어느 누구에게 어떤 조건도 두지 마라

그러면 그대는 그들이 그대를 사랑하거나 미워하거나 자유롭게 둔다

그러면 그들은 그대와 보다 편안함을 느낀다

- 그래, 부디

그러면 그 사랑에서 습성은 어디에 있는가

왜냐하면 우리는 격렬하게 습성을 지키고 있으므로

그대의 마음은 이것을 얻고 있는가

아니면 받아들이고 있는가

이 사랑이 이르지 않을 곳이 어디인가

사랑은 또 다른, 그대 자신과 같은 말이다

그대는 무엇을 하려는가

this which is only real, is it an object of perception?

everything is flavoured in love

where is this love coming from?

it's not coming at all, it's there

유일하게 진짜인 것, 그것은 인식의 대상인가

그러면 그것은 무슨 쓸모인가
